Whoever said this smelled like strawberry erasers is right on the mark...Dang, I hope Strawberry Moon works better on me!

Tisiphone. This is the scent of the "Avenger of Muder?" That said, I really do love it. It smells like soft velvety lining of a tender bud just waiting to unfurl in the morning dew, surrounded by a crush of sweet herbs and buttery florals. Absolutely gorgeous, only I wish it wouldn't go powdery on me after the dry-down.

Ooohhh, this is like watered down Doc Buzzards on me! I swear to god, it must be the cedar, only the tobacco's been replaced with the rose. The Doc was sexy, willful and a little bit malevolent. Thanatos gives off a very hippy-like vibe. I love it. Perfect for the days when DB is too much.

Sweet pea? Carnation?? What on EARTH was I thinking?!? I should know better. Sweet pea turns everything powdery and carnation = spicy dust. Soo...combine the two and you get...something really nasty. I'm sad. It sounded like such a lovely, playful scent, but alas. It was simply not meant to be.

I was expecting something much more floral and purple-y from this scent, but it really is very green, or maybe I'm misinterpreting the "iciness?" This isn't the scent I would expect a queen to wear, it seems much more suited to a Shakespearean maiden. Either way, it's really very lovely, and I'm considering buying a bottle for the summer days to go a'slathering.

Oohh, this is really nice. Smells like green grass, dark moss, and a hint of mint. I was frimped this and expected something woody and more forboding (Cathode=cathedral, get it?). Very fresh scent, but not something I would wear everyday. I'm keeping the imp, though!

This is so, so, yummy. On me, it's pure honeydew at first, but then mellows down into a sweet white-tea and delicate florals smell, with only a hint of the melon. I must have more.
-
Ohh, I'm not sure about this one...I wanted to love it so much, but the vanilla goes on really buttery and turns plasticky. The mint, however, is glorious. And after it dries down and is almost faded, I catch whiffs of the most beautiful bakery-foody scent: yeasty, fluufy, creamy, smooth and just a little buttery (I've run out of adjectives ) I think I'm going to keep the imp, but a bottle really isn't high on my priority list right now.

Numb is just kind of meh on me. I don't love it, don't hate it. Basically, to reiterate, it's powdery violets. I like violets, but I prefer them to smell fresh and actually flowery-like. I think having an imp of this to keep around would be nice for days I just want to cuddle up in a blanket and drift off. Other than that though, I don't think I'll ever wear it. It's basically the only BPAL scent where you can get a whole bottle for $8, though.

I luuurves me some Mock Turtle! Green, tart apples underscored by a shot of booze (but this is ver refined booze, understand? Nothing smutty or sexy here, just gives it a vaguely alchoholic note). I also get a hint of lime. It's very crisp and fresh, and a little aquatic. Makes me lust after those tiny green apples that look like they should be sour, but when you bite into them it's all grainy and sweet.

OMGggah this is the fruity scent I've been searching for! Most fruit scents turn way too cloying on me, but Jester is tart, juicy, ripe and beautiful. I get a real peachy "feel" to it, even though I don't smell any. It's really smooth and golden. Big bottle!

Ice Queen would be the PERFECT winter scent if it weren't for the birch. The iced berries are awesome, it literally smells like red and purple berries frozen in pebbles of ice, but stupid BIRCH has to ruin everything. Oh well, at least it's not as bad as pine. ETA: So it's spruce, not birch, eh? Ah well, those silly tree notes all smell the same to me.

This turns into Play-doh on me. *sniff*

It's a very dark, smoky scent. Somehow, all of those delightful notes combined on me becomes murky and icky-smelling. Oh well, one less LE for me to pine for!
-
Urgh. I just don't like this. It's really buttery and cloying smelling. Too much orange, fig, and coconut and not enough chocolate. It just smells...weird. Off to swaps!

Yup. Rose. What can I say? Rose Red is still my favorite rose scent, but this is more of an everyday scent than the luxurious RR. It's very pure and smells very pink to me, very sweet, although I know there are other roses in here other than pink ones, I just don't know how to tell them apart.

Oh my God, I love this so much, but it's an elusive scent, and hard to pin down. I get vanilla, definitely, and a *nice* type of powder from the florals and linen, but mostly it just envelopes me in a cloud of sweet soft goodness. This is a definite bottle, since I've gone through my imp in just two days. I like to slather this one, not because it has no throw, since the throw and staying power are actually phenomenal for such a soft scent, but because I can't see this offending anyone if they happen to catch a whiff (or several large whiffs) of this scent. It's really vying for a top 5 spot here.

Yay, I'm so glad the BPAL chocolate note works on me! This is the first BPAL chocolate scent I tried, and now I have to try more. I don't *think* any wonky stuff goes on when I wear this, becuase all I smell is smooth creamy milk chocolate. Potential bottle.

I got almost the exact same experience as growwild did - I had been lusting after this particular LE, but, sadly, it let me down. It's not an unpleasant scent - the wet stage is a dead ringer for the wet stage of Snow Maiden and the dry stage is like fizzy ginger ale, with maybe a touch of peach. That means it started off like household cleaner and ended up utterly unremarkable Swapped for Lump of Coal, yay!

Mmm, this goes up there with Eat Me and Cockaigne as my favorite foodie scent. On me, I get equal amounts of berries and cake, as if the ripe, sweet berries themselves were baked INTO the cake but somehow retained their perfect plump juiciness It encompasses everything a foodie scent should be: a little tart, a little sweet, rich and dry at the same time, thick but not overwhelming. One of my favorites!

Smells like French-milled lavender soap on me. Pretty, but not the juicy blackberry scent I was looking for, so I swapped it.
-
Ick ick ick! This turns into SUPER!Fig on me, and I hate the smell of fig. My skin makes it way too cloying, but Eden is an incredibley rich, sweet scent, if you like that kind of stuff.

Uh oh...I should have known there'd be trouble for me, seeing as carnation is the second note listed. Carnation makes everything turn to spicy dust on me, but I'm sure this blend would be lovely on someone with the right chemistry...it sounds so gorgeous.

Yummy yummy yummy, Manila smells like banana flowers to me. Not the actual flowers from a banana tree, per se, but rather imagine a basket of sweet, ripe yellow bananas combined with the gentlest, most buttery blooms available. Love it!

I've never been a big fan of fruit scents before, but the Cat has a strange addicting quality for me...slather too much on and I'll start feeling ill, but just a little dab on my wrists and a swipe across my collarbone and I'm in olfactory heaven. On the top this is fresh, slightly bitter grapefruit, but there's something bubbling at the bottom, which I think might be the currants, and I smell a little musk in here as well. Overall, I don't think I need a big bottle of this, it's too *weird* to wear every day, but I'll enjoy my imp very much.
