BLAARRRRGH super strong, heady florals and incense. As of yet, I think this is the only BPAL I've actually had to scrub off
-
At the beginning Jezebel was gorgeous - warm, slightly spicy oranges and the perfect bland of florals. But then, WHAM, baby powder. It was so strong that people in my class started to comment on it, and I didn't even slather! (of course, I pretended not to know what they were talking about.)

Somehow, Maiden ended up smelling like pure LOTUS in me. Yes, lotus. Maybe lotus tea, if there is such a thing. But there is no denying the presence of this evil, bubblegummy floral. *Sighs.* To swaps with ye!

Oh my Eternal is lovely. It's so well blended that i have a hard time distinguishing the notes...it's equal parts gardenia, musty rose and heliotrope, with some amber (??) to smooth it all down. It's a bit too old-fashioned for me to wear all the time though, so I think I'll just stick with my imp for now

Aww man I wanted to love this one so much, but sadly it's a little too herby for my skin. Beth's managed to capture a great concept though. This is, indeed, a scent evocative of goassamer spider webs hanging in a dewy herb garden

Ohhh this is just lovely. I agree with the above poster, Beth has managed to somehow bottle a sweet-smelling breeze! When first applied it's green, green, green, but then quickly dries down into something deliciously fresh, light and crisp underscored my creamy florals and - I'm thinking - a little bit of lemon. I think I've found my perfect everyday scent

I adore this scent. I don't get vanilla from this at all, which I was initially disappointed at, but then I realized, who the hell needs boring old vanilla anyway?? This is much better. I agree with all of the reviewers who described it at being impeccably blended. I get tangy, slightly salty sea air, lush, ripe fruits bursting with juice, a *hint* of coconut, and an exquisite musk-and-amber base. This makes me want to sit by the beach and sip watermelon juice, even though there's zero watermelon here. Huh. I just wish it lasted longer! 4 - 4.5/5

I...I...I wanted to love this so much, but alas, it turns into SweeTarts on my skin. STALE SweeTarts. Which is not to say it's unpleasant by any means, but I wanted the bright and PINK!!!! smell everyone else seemed to have gotten. *shakes fist at skin chemistry* DARN YOU!!!

HONEYDEW! This scent brings back waves of nostalgia: it remindes me of the honeydew popsicles I would eat when I was little, and now, by gods I shall have to search for them again. Good throw, but i wish it had more staying power. Still, this is definitely one of my top five scents, even if it's only because I worship at the altar of anything vaguely reminiscent of my favorite melon. I need bottles of this. I'm addicted. Eep. 5/5

Rose, rose rose. With a touch of something spicy and slightly green. But did I mention the rose? I'm a fan of roses in small doses, so I'll only be busting this scent out once in a while.

Oh. My. God. This scent is so exquisitely blended, so lovely, and addictive. I have not been able to take my nose off my wrist. I highly doubt I can elucidate the wonders of the Hungry Ghost in this haze of happiness, so suffice it to say that the top note is definitely grapefruit - sweet, sugared grapefruit underlayed by "crystalline" musk and soft vanilla. I don't get any herbs, woods, or resins, from this, but I don't care. This is a very happy scent, bright and ethereal and carefree. 5/5

I love love love the smell of Burt's Bees. Any BPAL oils that mimic Burty's scents? Particulary Milk&Honey lotion and Lemon Poppyseed facial cleanser...yummmmmm
-
I second Harvest Moon! By far the best apple blend I've tried so far.

Limited editions equivalents in the general catalog?

Reading the descriptions and reviews, these two seemed very similar, but I only want to buy one! (of course, I could be completely wrong on the similarity factor) How are they different? Is Holiday Moon more "green" and Empyreal Mist softer, somehow?
