Oh wow. I could've sworn I had tried this before, but it's not at all what I remember. For the first couple seconds I get cherry bubblegum. Then the bubblegum fades and I am left with a really rich cherry lollipop. Not super sweet, more like a black cherry. I catch a faint hint of the orange blossom....mmmm..... As it dries it becomes a smokey, musky cherry. Very sexy and flirty. I need a bottle.

Limited editions equivalents in the general catalog?

Is there anything at all that smells like Tiki King? -
I've been dying to try this one and was so excited when it showed up today. I am not dissapointed. In the bottle and wet I can definitely smell....grapefruit? Very fresh and clean smelling. I decided to go ahead and try it on my wrist even though I have been having a horrible time with my skin chemistry making things go all wrong. The sweetness I was starting to pick up has faded and this is a very clean, fresh aquatic...soap. Which I'm really not surprised at because my skin has been making many things go soapy or powdery on me. But in my locket....it's just gorgeous. It reminds me a bit of Thalassa with grapefruit. The beautiful sweetness (perhaps floral?) is there in the background, along with a saltiness. It's a wonderfully complex scent and I am soooo happy I have a bottle. I love aqautics and this is definitely one of my favorites.

Beautiful. Just beautiful. I was actually expecting something a bit more masculine and I'm so pleased that I was wrong. It's so well blended, though the red musk is definitely at the forefront, perhaps with the ambergis?. Luckily the leather and tobacco aren't making a big appearance and the lime is just peaking out. As it starts to dry down it becomes a bit shaper, but in a good way. The sandalwood comes out a little more but doesn't become overpowering. I'm not getting much of the coconut, unfortunately, but it is still absolutely beautiful. It definitely reminds me of a pirate ship on a sunny lazy day on calm seas. I love how perfectly blended it is. Nothing is too strong. Even with how wacky my skin chemistry has been (I've pretty much had to give up applying it to my skin because it's making almost everything go wrong), this is still gorgeous. I can't wait to see how it smells in my locket!

This is it exactly, though with very little lavender. At first it is very herbal with a bit of sweetness, but as it dried down the saltiness and smokiness comes out. This reminds me of walking around Cape May in the fall, coming out of this one particular candle/bath shop, catching the lingering smell of candles mixing with salt air and the smell of autumn. I need another bottle.

I just got this today and couldn't wait to try it! I haven't been trying too much on my skin lately because my skin chemistry seems to be turning everything strange, but I decided to try it anyways (as well as in my locket to see the difference). Wet: Straight up tart apples with a slight mint to it as well as a touch of ozone? Luckily not sharp, just tart. It also has a slightly cool, tingle on the skin which I love. Drying: Ooooh, a sexy musk comes comes out and offsets the apples. It's somehow dark and cold and bright at the same time. I have no idea how they do it. It's sexy and empowering and darkly flirty. Hubby loves it and can't keep his hands off. He says I smells good enough to.....well, you get the idea. Dried down a coupe hours later: Unfortunately, some of it has washed of so I'll have to reapply to see what happens. In th e locket: Yummy yummy cold apples with a bit of musk hiding in the back. Lovely! I can't keep from sniffing my locket. Now they just have to release an SGA locket and I'll be in heaven!

CLXVII: At first I was having a really hard time with this one. I was just sniffing it in the bottle since I've been having a hard time with scents going funky on my skin. I finally broke down and tried it though. OMG, It smells like suncreen and salty ocean water and something else I can't quite ge ta fix on. It's right there behind everything but but just out of reach. At times I think it might be spice, others maybe musk? It reminds me of when hubby and I met and he was lifeguarding and I would go see him at the beach. Safe to say, it's a keeper.

Singing Moon, The Phoenix, The Lady of Shalott, La Bella Donna Della Mia Mente,or Dragon's Tears? Oooh, good thing I have Singing Moon on the way. I'll have to check those others out. Thanks! ETA: So I just looked up The Phoenix. Crap. I really need to find some of that! Sounds perfect!

Are there any good ones? (I did a seach for spicy aquatic, so I'm sorry if I missed a thread!)

I can only wear this in my locket right now so I have no idea how it might morph on the skin. In my locket though it is super super juicy. Sweet and tangy at the same time. Not getting much of the booze, if at all. Just straight up juiciness. Not sure if I would get a bottle (at least not until next summer), but I will certainly enjoy my imp. And since a litle seems to go a long way, I have a feeling this will last a while!

CXXIV: I loved the one so much I had to wear it in my locket yesterday as soon as I sniffed it. It's just soooooo yummy. It reminds me of juicy fruit with something else that keeps it from being too sweet. I'm not really sure? Or maybe a fruity gum I used to chew, one of those 2 flavor bubble gums. Either way it just wonderful! I couldn't stop sniffing my locket all day and hubby kept leaning in to smell it. Definitely a keeper!

I actually found Eden almost entirely almondy. Not an unpleasant scent, just not tropical. Same here. Very nice, but not really tropical imo. But then I use my imp as a room fragrance so it might smell differently on?

You get a CnS with a Paypal order. Thanks! This was the first time I ever paid that way so I wasn't sure.
-
If you pay directly through pp you don't get a confirmation of shipping, right?

I know this is an old thread, but instead of starting a new one I thought I would just add to this. I was wondering what the least perfumey, most "real" scents are.
-
So I had no intention on trying this myself, but the imp broke on me so... Wow, this screams "man!". Or should I say "gentleman!". It's not musky and sweaty, it's all manly sophistication. I smell mostly leather and amber with a touch of patchouli. It actually reminds me a bit of my dad, I have no idea why. Maybe it was an aftershave he wore when I was a kid or his office at work? Maybe that's where the leather comes in? After I realized the father association I couldn't possibly get some for hubby, but I would love to get an imp just to sniff now and then.

I am so happy I finally tried this one! I can't comment on the different stages since I can only wear it in my locket right now, but OMG, it is wonderful! I definitely agree with the other reviewer who said it's a more complex Jolly Roger, and a bit more feminine but not girly. Definitely a kick-ass feminine scent. It's a salty, complex scent. It has a hint of sweetness and musk and it could almost go cologne-y but there is something stopping it and making it very unique. The patchouli is there, but not forefront (thank god) and it's pretty well balanced. It's somehow earthy and watery at the same time. I love it.

Depends on how sick you get. When I have morning sickness (3 kids) NOTHING worked. But then, I was severely sick requiring meds and rehydration. Normally though when I'm not feeling well, citrus or mints help. Can't do anything too strang or sweet (or very foody).

At first it's a very generic perfume smell, with something...else that I can't quite put my finger on. As it dries it becomes a slightly spicey amber musk with just a hint of citrus tea and something floral. I think I really like this one and I'm glad I got a bottle. It semlls a bit more sophisticated on me than the other oils I tend to wear, but it's nice having something different. I have a feeling I will use this more during cool weather than in the summer.

mmmm....lemon verbena with just a hint of jasmine and neroli. As it dried the green tea come out, but not overpowering. A very nice summer scent. I will definately be keeping the imp, but probably not a bottle. ETA: As it dried down further, it reminds me of maybe bathroom cleaning products? Or something, not quite sure. But I don't like it.

At first, all honey. Then the orange starts to come out and I think, wow I really like this. Only the slightest hint of rose, luckily. But the all of a sudden, BAM! Baby powder. Off to swaps.
