Even I was inspied to try out Smut again after the new update. I bought mine 2010 and tried it when it was new. Musks are tricky for me and Smut was a great disappointment. A strong bitter musk and just a strong bitter musk. It has lived in a dark corner of my BPAL collection since then. Trying it again, nearly a year later, it has turned into something wonderful. Wow! The bitter musk are still there, for about five minutes. Then it's just gorgeous! Soft musk with hints of vanilla. Like the previous reviewer I can't stop sniffing my wrists. I think I will have to revise my shopping plans for the new Lupercalia and add another bottle of it.

I didn't much care for this one wet. The cocoa from BPAL has never worked on me, but as I try every imp that comes my way by principle, I tried this one anyway. After all, the other components works on me. At first I could just smell the cocoa and though it didn't smell bad, it still wasn't a smell I'd like to wear. But dry... During the day I constantly got this wonderful scent wafting around me and evetually realized that is was me! Not a trace of cocoa left but something vanilly-warm. I can't say that I can pick out the sandalwood and myrrh, it just blur with the vanilla into something delicious. Sexy and comforting at the same time. I have fallen in love with this scent completely and need to get a full bottle fast, as my imp is almost gone.

This was a funny scent to try out. It hit my skin in a blast of honey that quickly died down to be replaced with lemons, lemons, lemons. It reminded me very much of a cake with lemon in. After a while that faded and got replaced by honey again. Honey with an edge- the whiff of lemon that remained and something spicy, which must be the cardamon, though I can't say I can really smell the cardamon, just the spiciness. I like this very much! But then I'm definitely a honey-girl.

Vice do smell like chocolate on my skin, but it smells like very old chocolate that has gone white and taste dusty. Not pleasant at all. :-(

Not a review in over a year! A bit strange, because this is such a lovely scent. I had an idea that I didn't like the lillies, but at least when it comes to Black Lilly I'm completely wrong. It's soft, but not at all tame. There is an idea of vanilla floating around somewhere in the background, which is more than fine with me. :-)

This scent is steadily growing on me, I like it more every time I wear it. I sort of liked it from the start, though somehow I felt that it lacked depth and I couldn't detect the muck at all. I think skin musk needs to age a bit to suit me, as I've noticed a similar reaction to other scent with skin musk. It also, definitely, evoked sex to me, as it did to my boyfriend- who liked it a LOT more than I did in the beginning. I ordered it the same day it arrived and having aged it a few months have made it a scent with more body. I can smell the beeswax very strongly at first, and then the musk, honey and sugare cane. It's a very sexy scent and I don't use it for work. Not because of the name, but because it's a scent for just two, for me. My only complaint is that it fades very, very quickly.

My previous encounters with pomegranate have been awful and I would never have ordered Swank. However, I try everything the lab sends me, so when Swank arrived as a frimp, I dabbed it on. And was VERY pleasantly surprised. Perhaps it's the martini that tips the scale for me, but this smells absolutely wonderful! Wearing it made me want to put on something elegant and sit at an out of dorrs bar and sip something cool. A bit hard when it's freezing february outside, but when summer comes, I'm sure I will use this imp. And perhaps buy a bottle...

I get vanilla here and nothing else. But it's a very creamy vanilla and not at all sweet, so the other notes must work in the background and alter the vanilla. It's very subtle and has little throw on me, which makes it a good perfume for work.

For me Alice starts with spicy carnation and end up spicy carnation, albeit softened with honey then. That's fine with me- I like this smell! I was a bit hesitant as rose in a perfume usually means it smells rose and nothing but rose on me, but not here. I can't detect any rose at all. Which, btw, is perfectly fine with me as well. :-)

I love the smell of sweet pea- it reminds me of my grandmother's garden when I was a kid. However, I find that I don't enjoy smelling of sweet pea at all. Two hours into wearing it the musk is starting to show, but despite the tiniest of dabs, the scent is filling my nostrils and making them ache. I do like this scent in the imp though, so perhaps I can find some other use for it. But I'm going to wash it off from my skin.

I like the smell of it, though I can't say that it makes me sleepy. But my son loves it and claims that it makes him fall asleep- and I'm very happy to oblige!

Rose hardly ever agrees with me, so the upside is that all I can smell is pomegranate. The downside is that I find that I don't like the smell of pomegranate. At all. So no, this one is not for me.

I ought to have reviewed O a long time ago. It was almost the first scent I tried and it was the first big bottle I purchased. I love it- it's the bottle I reach for if I don't have a formed idea of what kind if scent I want. Honey really agrees with my chemistry as does vanilla and amber, so perhaps that's not so surprisng. I've had a number of compliment wearing it. Occasionly I layer it with Love Me, but the reactions I get then makes it only suitable in very select company. :-)

It's a funny scent. At first I don't like it at all- I suspect that bergamot and eucalyptus is a combination my noce don't like. But after an hour or so I'm left with the ambergris, that I love, with a subtle salty undertone. Unfortunately it only has throw when it's in it first stage. I'll keep and use my imp, but I doubt that I will buy it again.

Tea and lemon isn't usually my thing- not that I don't like the smell, but that they tend to go soapy on me. Musk do work, though and perhaps that is why Embalming Fluid smells lovely on me. I'v eloved my little imp down to the last drop and though I don't think I need a full bottle, there will definitely be more imps! It smells both warm and fresh on me- perfect for a summers day
