Delayed at Ingolstadt Air Field Atmosphere Spray
Haltija replied to Lycanthrope's topic in Atmosphere
I agree with Lycanthrope in saying that there is something very "Fae Forest" about this one with a backdrop of heavy moss. When it's first sprayed the moss is what first jumps out at me and I can detect chamomile but it's hardly there. The violet is there but it's also tamed as well until it begins to settle around the room. The violet is gorgeous and not stifling or too much, in my opinion. I don't detect oak, unless it's the sort of "mist covered wood" smell that I am getting but when I inhale deep enough it does smell like mist covered wood with the soft florals blowing into the distance, moss under your feet and the trees covering over you like a canopy. It's very Spring and Summer appropriate and this decant will be very appreciate when we get back to those seasons. Lovely! -
Started out extremely herbal and bitter but ended up being the most lovely blend of beeswax, hemp, myrrh and honey. I like it a lot!

Honey, cream and very baby powder-y when it's wet. But when it's dry it stays the same except there is less honey and more rose begins to come to the front. I get no myrrh and I can barely detect any of the other notes. It's powdery, rose-y and really beautiful......... But I don't know how much I would wear it.

Not a fan of this one. It smells dirty, musty and just plain gross on me. Shame because in the decant I loved how the honey note smelled against the leaf note.
-
First off it is all powdery tiare all the time with a barely detectable red apple in the background. The more it sits and blooms on the skin the more magical it becomes. The fig and the coconut blend together so beautifully and I do detect a powdery sweetness like others mention above and it's so nice and very tropical. The coconut never turns to suntan lotion or anything sour. Best suited for Summer but it's still nice. I will enjoy my decant.
-
This is a very pretty and soft blend to me. The apple blossom is tart and the coconut milk gives way to a sweetness that's almost powdery. I get 0 leather and hardly any sandalwood. I do get a very tiny hint of something herbal which I am assuming can only be the mandrake root and it's very pleasant, it keeps everything from going too sweet because of the coconut milk. It smells almost like a Ligeia blend but I can't quite put my finger on which one it is..... I see this being more for Summer rather than Fall but it's still lovely all the same.

The strongest cucumber and icky plastic. I couldn't even handle keeping it on any longer once it dried, had to wash off ASAP.
-
Chilly and gorgeous red roses first off and I can only detect the smallest bit of gardenia. No vanilla orchid in sight and I really wanted to smell it on me. I don't even get sandalwood or frankincense at all either. Fully dry it turns to minty gardenia soap and the roses have faded completely. Not a winner, sadly.
-
Dark and decadent. Romantic and gothic. I just love this. No secret I love Beth's wine blends and this is one of the best I have smelled in years. It's a dark red wine I imagine and that's all it is on me when it's wet but when it dries I get nothing else but that lovely candle smoke and leather. It's completely gorgeous and I think this may have to be upgraded to a bottle.

Something in this turned oh so foul on me and it's saddening! I like all the notes but apparently "caramel candies" turn to plastic on my skin, so awful. But in the decant it smells wonderful. Will keep it just to see if aging helps.
-
I don't like wearing this during the day. I like wearing this to bed because it immediately calms my brain enough to make me sleep very easily. It's comforting in the same way that you get comfort from reading a sweet bed time story. It's extremely herbal, quite sharp actually when it's first applied. The lavender is incredibly strong and good thing I adore lavender. I detect the yarrow trying to peek through but it doesn't make itself completely well known at all. When it's fully settled all I have is a herbal mixture of lavender and chamomile with only the tiniest drop of vanilla. I will save my decant for those times when I really need to comfort myself to sleep.
-
I really wanted to love this one but it just doesn't like my hair ): On first spray I get the tiniest hint of white musk and it fades immediately to crisp crunchy leaves. After about a hour of waiting for it to change I realize it never does. I don't get any vanilla, no more white musk...... Just leaves the entire time. I love the lab and post leaf note but I wanted something more *sigh*
-
I get the acetone thing that is mentioned above. In the decant it's sweet sugary sticky apple but on the skin oh goodness does it turn into sugary apple shampoo immediately and it stay that way for quite some time before that eventually fades and I am left with the faintest hint of red apple with no sugar. Regardless of the shampoo thing I still think it smells nice but I won't be needing another bottle.

I love this so much, oh my goodness! It is creamy, sweet and oh so warm and fuzzy from start to finish. I get a ton of honey when it's wet but when it's dry the goat's milk and musk make their appearance and the milk doesn't turn sour and nothing goes into plastic territory. This is such a cute scent and it really captures the feeling of happiness, comfort and warmth. I think I will require a bottle of this one for sure. It makes me so happy (:
-
Adore this! When it first hit my skin the lavender was so strong it was almost stifling, and I love lavender. So I was very worried that it wouldn't change much but to my surprise it changed a ton and when it started drying I caught a faint whiff of dirt and other wildflowers that went almost sugary. When it fully dried it was the most lovely combination of soft lavender, wildflowers and a tiny hint of woods. It is comforting, cute and cheerful. Perfect for Summer
-
In the decant I got jelly beans and butter and it was so delicious. On the skin though from start to finish it is all butter all the time and not a trace of jelly beans in sight. I was so afraid the butter note would make me feel nauseous as they tend to do but this one doesn't, not really at least. I like it but I wanted more of a jelly bean note once it was on the skin. Will be keeping my decant for sure though and see if aging helps.
-
So old fashioned and beautiful. This is dominantly leaves, woods and orris on me when it's wet and it verges on soapy but only for a short moment and thank goodness because I was worried. When it warms up I can detect a faint hint of moonflower and lilac but neither are strong nor overtaking each other. The whole blend of the soft florals with the damp mosses and crisp leaves is such a lovely concept and I see a Victorian cemetery in early Autumn. I will definitely enjoy my decant while I have it. May take a few more wears to see if I need some more. I love old fashioned blends like this a lot.
-
Probably one of the most accurate bubblegum scents I own, even more so than Courtney and many others. Little bit of spicy pink bubblegum and definitely along the lines of a more "adult" type gum scent. I really like it and there is 0 ozone present which is good for me. Another one that isn't quite bottle worthy but I will surely enjoy the decant while I have it. It's fun and cute.
-
One of the more beautiful aquatics I own. It does smell a little like paint or paint thinner when it's completely dry, I don't mind really cause the wet stages are so lovely. It's damp greens with a huge blast of oak and only the faintest mist of sea spray and salt. The salt isn't nowhere near as strong as it is in blends like Octopus and things of that nature. It is perfectly atmospheric and everything is in balance. I don't need a bottle but I will love my decant.
-
I am starting to think almond might be a no go for me, note wise. It's a beautiful scent and that's what's so weird. The almond brings out this cherry medicinal thing that I don't like and yet I can't take my nose from my wrist. I think I am liking the leather and vanilla mixing in with it because I don't smell amber at all and hardly any tonka. Even though I don't like it that much I still want to keep it and see how it ages. My Mother likes it a lot so I just may give it to her if it doesn't age well for me.
-
I completely agree with macabre_fae here..... This smells like Café Mille and Miskatonic University had a child. Just take out the dusty tomes aspect of Miskatonic U and you have The Worst Pillow and it is quite glorious. In the bottle it's mostly the roasted beans and a heavy helping of vanilla. On the skin it's coffee and a sweet kind of coffee with a vanilla spice and a good balance of the caramel. Love this!

Happy Witching to all the lovely Witch and Witchees Booze- I am all for it. My preferred drink of choice is red wine but I do love hard ciders as well. Pumpkin- PUMPKIN ALL THE THINGS 100%. In seriousness I love pumpkin anything and I always have. I basically will eat any food made with pumpkin and pumpkin pie is a serious weakness. I like it mixed with cinnamon, nutmeg and the traditional spices. I love pumpkin spice lattes. The candy and treats with it as a ingredient, I like...... But I just prefer the more actual food items made with it. And of course any pumpkin bpal or scented things are welcome in my house. Yellowstone- I don't mind getting things from different places around the world. I like traveling and it's nice to see things from places I have yet to explore. Penny Dreadful: I actually put it in my questionnaire but yes I love the show a little bit too much. One of my very favorites (: Tea/Coffee: I like tea but I only really drink black tea or chai tea, maybe green on occasion if I need to feel better. There is a assortment of Fall teas right now from Teavana that I am eyeing so hard right now. They all sound absolutely delicious and perfect. Coffee wise I like medium/dark roast but I only drink my coffee if I have some sort of creamer with it because I can't drink it plain, too intense. Hazelnut, Vanilla, Pumpkin Spice etc........ Are some of my favorite creamers. I love hot chocolate and apple cider. I love the apple cider in the k-cups for the Keurig. Since the Keurig is all I have to make my coffee/cider. Sense of Humor: I have a very sarcastic, dry sense of humor on some days and then other times I can be a complete nut and come off with the stupidest stuff and have a whole room laughing. Comedian wise Christopher Titus is one of my absolute favorites, he's great. Board Games: I like old school board games. Puzzles, Candy Land (yes I will forever love it) Clue..... Ones like that. Is there anything that you specifically do NOT want to receive? Wax tarts and strong incense (I live with my Mother and the smells bother her) and bath salts. Plain or fun socks? Oh my goodness I have no objection to either. I love plain knitted socks that are wool or a nice fluffy material. Then again I love crazy patterns and unique designs or sayings/creatures on them. I love all socks. Toe socks are also a huge addiction, loved them since I was in middle school. Name one (or as many as you would like) thing you would like to learn more about? I answered this in my questionnaire basically but I would really like to learn about knitting, sewing and things of that nature. I am now slowly collecting gemstones and I would really like to learn more about their meanings and the effects they have on us, positive or negative. What one thing you would like to do more of? Traveling is my number one thing and definitely pick up writing again. What are some things that fascinate you? Or, What would you like to know more about? I am a HUGE History nerd and most specifically Medieval, Renaissance, Egyptian, Viking and Victorian History. It has all fascinated me since I was a tiny child and the more I can learn about all of it, the better. Would you like any cookie butter (just to be clear, store-bought, not home-made, and does contain wheat since it's, y'know, cookie butter)? Truth be told I have never tried it but it sounds really interesting and I wouldn't mind trying some. Is there any particular piece (or pieces) of art (painting, photograph, etc) that speaks to you in some way? Well, anything and I do mean anything from Gustav Klimt I love. There are about 4 pieces of his art in my home right now and I can always have more. I also love nature pieces as well as Gothic, Victorian art. What kinds of things would you like from the Lilith BPAL or BPTP update (or are you joining a decant circle?) I joined a decant circle for a lot of items but there are some that catch my eye to buy bottles of. Most specifically Muddy Puddles from the Post but I am wondering if I should even buy it because I have numerous other hot chocolate scents.... The story just makes me happy. Tranquility also intrigues me but the banana note does worry me, even though I really love A Stroll Through The Quarter from last year... Would still like to try it. Do you want to received knit or crocheted items? If so, could you describe or even link to a couple of items similar to what you would like to receive? Oh my goodness yes! If my dearest Witch wants to knit or crochet me anything I will gladly accept..... I love knitted floppy style beanies as well as fingerless gloves. Black, grey, brown and more earthy colors would be of my interest. Anything else you decide to add on it I am fine with, I am not really picky. Would you like anything from Lush? I would like any bath bomb or any bubble bar that they sell as long as it doesn't have a super super strong floral scent. Nothing with lemongrass either. I have also always wanted to try Big conditioner. Do you prefer hand-made or store-bought? I have 0 preference here. I absolutely adore handmade items because there is so much love put into making something but store bought it just as wonderful and thoughtful. SPICY! Scale of 1 to 10, with 1 being "oh, that's a bit too much black pepper for me" and 10 being "ghost pepper? scorpion pepper? I laugh at these! I love as much heat as you can throw my way!" Where are you? Hahah nothing with ghost peppers or hotter than that but I can handle habanero and spicy things like that with no issue. Love spicy food and condiments. What is your BPAL "Holy Grail"? Oh geez well that's a tough one. My all time HG is one you can't get anymore and that's French Tobacco. My other HG would have to be between Tombeur, Dorian and Mme. Moriarty Analog or Digital? Or Both? I like CD's for my music mostly and I love physical books as I don't have a kindle, e-reader or anything of that sort to read digitally. What scents from other perfume companies are you really wanting to have in your collection and or are just really wanting to test? Companies like NAVA, Arcana, Solstice Scents, Possets, Haus of Gloi etc.....? I have the biggest success rate with Solstice Scents and NAVA. The blends I would like to try sometime from SS are probably Foxcroft Fairgrounds and Maplewood Inn. From NAVA I would mostly love to try Kiskah Kashmir and Vamp from the NAVAlloween collection and Gunwitch from the Dan Brereton's collection. Do you have an affinity for any specific animals? I answered this in my questionnaire with Wolves and Panthers being my number one spirit animals but I also have a strong affinity to Crows/Ravens as well as Foxes. Kitchen Needs or Wants? Nothing I absolutely need but I would really not mind having more mugs. Makeup! Do you like it, would you want some? If so what brands do you like to wear? I am a absolute makeup junkie. It's one of my biggest passions in life so I can never have too much. My favorite brands would have to be Kat Von D, MAC and Urban Decay for more expensive stuff. I really love Makeup Geek eye shadows and her foiled eye shadows. Colourpop cosmetics liquid lipsticks and lippie stix in general are a huge love of mine, lipstick in general is my favorite. I love darker shades of lipstick like burgundies, plums, browns and deep reds..... when I wear nudes it's nudes like Bow N Arrow from KvD or Brink from Colourpop. I have had my eye on LAX liquid lipstick from Colourpop since it got released. As far as eye shadow colors I like warm tones and neutrals with maybe hints of purple and reds in there, no super bright colors cause I feel I can't pull them off. I like more coral, burgundy and even nude tone blushes with not a lot of glitter sparkles in them. Chocolate fiends ahoy! What kind of chocolate do you like? Do you like any other things in it or just plain good ole chocolate? I like milk chocolate a lot but I am the biggest dark chocolate lover that I know...... I like it by itself and I like it with all other flavors. Anything with a spicy kick is completely fine or even notes of lavender, citrus etc...... I wouldn't really care for banana or anise in my chocolate. I also like chocolate paired with nuts or caramels (even though I hate caramel alone, it's good in other things) And I am the biggest fan of dark chocolate truffles oh my! Yes please! Would you be opposed to receiving a ton of Halloween themed items? Nothing bloody for me but I love Halloween mugs, place mats, cute spooky decorations, stationery type stuff, cute little handmade Halloween cards would be the best....... Yay for Halloween! Bat Conservation: Awwwww, that little tote bag and the buttons are really cute. Those items would be nice. What's your favorite scary movie? I posted my favorites movies in general in the main questionnaire but my favorite scary movie would have to be Silent Hill even though it's not considered really scary to some people. My other favorite spooky and just Autumnal type movies are Halloweentown, Hocus Pocus, Beetlejuice, Practical Magic. What items from the Weenie update interest you? I am buying a ton of things myself but I also am looking at Pumpkin Lager, Second Spring, Dead Leaves Honey and Oudh, Dead Leaves Red Musk and Neroli, Apple II, A Witch Riding on a Dragon, La Ronde du Sabbat. Decants or bottles.......... I don't even care really. If my Witch decides to surprise me with one of these that's great, if not then that is just fine as well. Blu-ray or DVD? Most definitely DVD Game systems - console or computer? Mac/PC? Which console? I have a PS3 and a PS4 but they are stopping the production of PS3 games pretty soon so I will be needing to buy all my games for the 4. Are you dressing up for Halloween and if so do you need any accessories for if? I am either going to be Harley Quinn or a Victorian Clown and I do believe I have all the things I need for both characters. Talk to me about bags, what kinds do you like? Oh my goodness. Thanks to my ridiculously picky Grandmother and Mother and their handbag obsession..... I have become a little bit picky with mine as well. I love tote bags of all kinds and that's probably one thing I am not super picky about but I do not like the color yellow and will NOT carry it even if it's on a bag. The bag I carry now is black and white color blocked and it's been through hell with me and I am slowly trying to transition into getting another bag. I like big pockets in them because I have a ton of stuff and I don't mind if it's cross body or over the shoulder. Hobo style bags are always good too. The bigger and slouchier they look, the better. What are your favorite fandoms and do you want to receive anything related to such? Oh my...... LOTR, Harry Potter, The Hobbit, Vikings, Game of Thrones, American Horror Story, The Borgias (when it was still on but the fandom will ALWAYS live). I am not opposed to receiving anything related to any of my fandoms whether it be shirts, jewelry, knick knacks of any kinds. (: What are you planning to order from the Weenies update? For myself I plan on ordering Feeding the Dead, Frosted Pumpkin Spice Cookie, Pumpkin Cheesecake Cupcake, Apple I, Apple Cider SN, Candied Apple SN, Clown White SN and The Witches. The Last Huzzah of the NY Renaissance Faire happens this weekend and I'm going! Is there anything you might want? (Besides a turkey leg, which won't ship well!) Honestly, anything and everything In all seriousness I love everything Medieval so whatever my Witch decides is fine and if she decides on nothing that's fine as well........ Do you like comics or graphic novels? Any issues or collections you want to read? Love comics and graphic novels. I love the works of Mike Mignola a lot. Do you like fanfic? Would you like a story written for you as part of your gift? What characters/fandoms/pairings etc do you like? I think they can be interesting! Wouldn't mind one written about me. Let's say you have indicated interest in receiving a hand knitted item. What colors, exactly, do you like? If you could provide color swatches here or to pinterest (or something visual), that would help out a lot. My favorite colors to wear when it comes to knitted items are deep purples, forest green, reds, royal blue, pumpkin spice orange tones, black and grey. I wouldn't mind if the purples and blues were perhaps in yarn together or any of the other colors. Would you rather receive a bunch of little packages through the round, a couple of medium packages, or one big package at the end? Small packages through the round would be super cute to receive as I love being randomly surprised...... But honestly everything is up to my Witch...... I would be happy with anything they did for me. If/when you go to the mall, for which store(s) do you beeline? Sephora all day every day! Subscription Boxes: None of these. Would Witchees like something from IKEA? (Or any other not always accessible by everyone store?) I wouldn't say no to a lipstick holder but I don't absolutely need something. Do you like tarts/candles/incense? If so, what type of scents? I am a candle girl all the way and I love the same thing in candles as I do my perfumes. Foodie stuff and forest-y type scents. I love Autumn scents and Christmas ones too. Bonfire, smoke, pumpkin, leaves...... Smells like that. Is there anything you wish you could have picked up from the Dragon*Con exclusives? Nope, I picked out all the ones I wanted (: Is there a GC you've been dying to try but haven't got around to yet? Hedylogos is the first one that jumps out at me. For those of us with out-of-country Witchees, would you be happy with receiving a few packages from local to you merchants (say, through Etsy or equivalent)? Anything my Witch decides to send to me is absolutely fine. The questionnaire asked about gold & silver jewelry, but how do you feel about copper jewelry? Do you like colorful jewelry, or do you prefer to keep it neutral? I absolutely love copper jewelry and I love anything made with iron as well. I wear the oddest of jewelry that looks almost like it came from a Vikings collection...... I like to keep it neutral over colorful items unless it's rings and then I wear a ton of gemstones. We asked about decorating style, but are you interested in receiving decorations for your home? Are you interested in things that go on the wall or things that go on shelves? I really like those old timey looking keys from Hobby Lobby that hang on the walls and those old Gothic style crosses from there as well. Always wanted a few more of them. Office supplies hound? Pens, pencils, journals, any preference, or favorites? I know they are expensive and I am in no way asking for my Witch to buy one but I just really love the idea of owning my very own fountain pen, finally. They are so lovely to write with. Journal wise I can always use more of them and I love leather ones with bead ties or just leather ones in general as well as paperblank style ones with intricate designs on them, pretty Victorian filigree and things of that nature. Talk to me about socks! Is there anything, dear, dear Witchee, that I can get for you from Sock Dreams? Anything from another place? Already there was a question about Renn Faire, but Faire also has an abundance of wonderful socks! Tell me all your sock wishes!- Thick wool socks, fuzzy socks, toe socks are the BEST and I love ankle socks. I answered another sock question and it's the same answer..... All socks are amazing! I live near a huuuuge candy store. What kind of candy do you like? Gummies? Caramel? Chocolate? Sour? Sugar-free? All candy is good candy except for Caramel on my end and I do not like red licorice nor black licorice. Any type of dark chocolate without caramel is good with me and I love gummies, especially sour gummies. I love strawberry flavored anything and I am not the biggest fan of cherry flavored things. Other than that BRING IT ON! How do you feel about animal products? Not so much animal toys or food, but more like furs, paws, bones, etc.- I do not wear real fur and I love bone jewelry as long as it is absolutely 100% cruelty free. I do also like resin type bone jewelry which can be found all over Etsy. Are you interested in receiving any restaurant.com gift certificates for your area? No restaurants I am interested in from my area, but thank you for asking. (: How do you feel about "toys" - stuffed animals and the like? I love stuffed animals, what can I say! (: I sleep with a stuffed Wolf every single night. So stuffed wolves, foxes would be really really adorable. I like little wolf figurines as well. How do you feel about astrological events, like eclipses? Any interest in the Blood Moon Eclipse scent from BPAL? Astrology has always been super interesting to me, so yes. I honestly wouldn't mind a decant of Blood Moon Eclipse, since it's my Zodiac Moon (: Height? Good ole 5'5 How do you feel about online classes? Like, say, craftsy or creativebug? Or even lynda.com? Never heard of any of those places..... I don't think online classes would get much use out of me for the time being. How do you feel about the 4 elements? Or are you more of an Asian 5 elements person? Do you feel strongly about any of the elements, like a connection or a preference? I have taken tests before and always came out with the Water element and I guess that is true... Idk much about the elements honestly but it's always been interesting to me. I don't know if this has anything to do with it but I have always had a strong link and likeness to water, ever since I was little and I constantly want to be around it or near it, even when I am on the nature trails..... I always try to find a stream to go sit by. I am a Aries though and it's always said that I was Fire, who knows. How do you feel about bento boxes? Is it something you would use if you were to get one? They are super cute but probably wouldn't get a lot of use in my house. Scarves, shawls or cowls? Mittens, gloves, fingerless mitts or wristlets? ALL OF IT! I love every bit of it! I am a sucker for a cute scarf and a cute pair of fingerless gloves. Shawls and cowls are so comfortable and I love wearing them during Winter. For colors I love deep colors like deep reds, blues, purples etc..... and earthy tones with black and grey of course. Just please no yellow, hot pink or pastels. What do we want from Paintbox Soapworks? Sweet Cheeks sugar scrub, The Englishman sugar scrub and Gingermilk hand lotion for sure. If I were to make you some art, would you prefer a frame that hangs or one that sits? And what color/style would you prefer? Personally, something that sits. My home doesn't have any specific color tone it follows except darker colors so nothing pastel or bright please. Otherwise, do whatever Are you a slatherer or a dabber? Depends on who I am going around. If it's someone that can't handle fragrance it's dabbing but otherwise I am a total slatherer. Talk to me, dear witchies, about tea. I know we've covered this a little, but I really need the nitty gritty here- not just companies you like and don't like (Teavana? Adagio? David's? Some tiny place?) but I also want to know the other stuff: top 3 flavors, loose or bagged, the kinds of tea accessories you use- or have always wanted. Be specific. Provide links if necessary. I love Teavana and David's Tea the most and I prefer loose but also don't mind bagged. Top three flavors would have to be Chai anything and in any form, don't care what it is mixed with because I have tried most of it and there isn't a Chai I do not like. I like Coconut flavored tea as well as Blueberry the most. I like black tea the most but also don't mind some oolong and white teas. Is there anything from ThinkGeek that you want??? (especially in the geek points section, 2400 points or under?) The only thing I see that caught my eye immediately was the Kawaii Kitten slippers. So cute! Villainess? Fireleaf soap sounds really nice to me. Are there any flowers you especially like? Honestly, I have a strong connection to orchids for many personal reasons. I also really adore roses of any colors and lilies Would you be interested in any cozies or cases (yarn o fabric, not hard cases) for tech stuff (phone, laptop' etc) or for cups/mugs/bottles or anything else similar. All about having some coffee and tea mugs. Would you like Halloween or Day of the Dead themed ornaments or a "bunting" ? Any of this would be just lovely. Duct tape crafts? I'm up for having anything crafty. Are there witchees who would like book related gifts like a booklight, bookmark, bookseat or something for your reading gadget, like a cover or a light for example. I could always use a few new bookmarks. I make handmade journals, mini albums and similar items. Would my witchee be interested in something like that? Oh! A yes to this Handmade journals sound divine What songs/music/artists/CD's do you like to listen to around Halloween? Nox Arcana for sure...... Though I listen to them a lot now, I play certain tracks during Autumn season. Are you interested in leg warmers at all? OH YES! Is your Halloween style scary, cutesy, folksy, grotesque . . .? I'd say scary cute with a bit of whimsy. I bought the Portal board game last week & it came with a Portal 2 steam free download code. I already have the game on another console & it's one of my favorite series of all time. Soooo, would you want it? I haven't even played the first one yet, would like to do that first. Have you read The Martian? Or do you plan on watching the movie? Have not read the book but I actually do plan on seeing the movie. Pertaining to that, how does everyone feel about such things? Will anyone be participating? How about NaNo swag, is there any you want? I don't think so. Honey or beeswax products? Discuss. I love both so it's always welcome. Trading Post Weenies are live! Anything calling to you? Buying many items myself but things I am interested in but kind of nervous to buy are Moonbathing, A Fling in the Lagoon and Candiru Cove Frisbee Tournament. Speaking of nail things, it that time of year and I am doing my jamberry order, Would you want some Lovely Jamberry's for your nails? Those look super cute. Wouldn't mind them at all. Marmite? I don't think it is something I would like. Some folks have already said they do not want used nail polish. If you haven't already chimed in about that... would you be interested in a bottle of BPTP claw polish (in this case, either Event Horizon or Baku) that has been used for one manicure? Used nail polish is fine. Are there any DISCONTINUED (not LE) BPAL oils that you wish you had, or had a little more of? Antique Lace, Fairy Market and Haitian Vetiver SN. Is there anything fairly basic that you're always running out of and need to buy more of? Hair ties are the things I use up the most. Autumn Scents - recommend the ones you love
Haltija replied to any_old_actress's topic in Recommendations
I'm totally jealous!! My air conditioning has had to be cranked the past few days, it is so hot and humid here. I just received Beaver Moon 2012 as a forum purchase, and I'm hoping it will be good for fall but I haven't tested it yet. The original was all graham cracker, all the time on me, so I am hoping the apple in this will save the day and make it into a fall scent! I also forgot to add Cicuta to my previous list - it's my new "dark fall rose" scent. Cicuta is so beautiful, isn't it? It was one of the very first bottles I ever purchased and I still adore it. I also prefer it during the colder months. -
This is lemon and vanilla cream pie for about the first hour and then it becomes something oh so intriguing. The smoky flowers mingle with the sweetness so wonderfully that I find my nose being attached to my wrist and never wanting to leave. It stays gorgeous from the start to the very finish. It brings to my mind the opening credits and the song from AHS Freakshow. I don't why, it just does. The whole scent is kind of like that entire opening sequence. Dark yet whimsical and a lot sinister.......... Precisely what the Carnaval is as a whole. I love this so much. Thank you Beth (:

I am going to have to agree with Barilace. This is one of my dream apple scents and I wish to never be without it. In the bottle it's crisp apple that smells like a green apple to my nose, so refreshing. On the skin it immediately reminds me of Verdandi but not as tart and I love Verdandi so I knew this would be promising. The very second it began to dry I found my nose attached to my wrist and inhaling deeply, catching the most beautiful baked apple scent. This may sound really odd but to me it smells like the baked apples you get at Cracker Barrel.............. If anyone has gotten them you will know what I am talking about. The full dry down is baked apple with the tiniest whiff of cinnamon (I swear I smell it) and a really nice dollop of sugar and black tea. I just love this and need more before it goes away.
