This is a wonderful sweet, powdery girly scent. The orchid vanille smells very tropical and rich. The stephanotis is a little funky at first, but after fifteen minutes or so it just adds a beautiful floral scent to the vanille. This scent reminds me of Follow Me Boy, which I guessed had some vanilla in it. All in all, I love this, and I already have a bottle coming!

To me this is a sickly sweet scent, the amber mainly. The dragon's blood adds an exotic, spicy flair to the amber, but does not stick around long enough for me. I don't particularly like this, but I've realized to be careful with amber blends, because a lot of the time amber doesnt work on me and ends up smelling either sickly or old ladyish. If you can do amber, this scent would be positively wonderful.

This is a rich, deep, rose incense scent. It reminds me of spellbound in a way, but with the addition of mandarin and nutmeg. The mandarin adds a sweetness to the scent, but the nutmeg counters it with its' earthy dryness. This scent is quite exotic, and wearing it makes me think of an exotic bazaar filled with swirling incenses, fresh flowers, spices, and fruits.

This is predominantly a lavender blend on me, I dont get much of the lotus or spice. It's nice, I think it will be a great scent for bedtime.
-
In the imp it vaguely reminds me of cough syrup, especially because it's a red color because of the dragons blood. On my skin the sweetness fades after a while, and the a spicy, scent comes out from the woods and the dragon's blood. The leather adds a ruggedness to the scent, and I like it. I think this would be nice on a boy.

Mayhem is right....when I opened my imp of this it was complete anarchy in there. It smelled like strawberry nail polish remover, it was so strong and hideous that I was unsure is I should try it on or not. But when I did, the nail polish remover remained and I had to go scrub it off because I could not tolerate it. Sigh.

To me, this is a sweet, sexy clean scent. At first, it's all about the lemon tea, warm and sweet. After a while, the lemon calms down a little, and the sugary vanilla and musks come out to play. There is a hint of something a bit murky and masculine underneath it all, reminding me of crisp greenery and lavender-- that must be the fougere. After a couple of hours it has faded into a sweet slightly plasticky vanilla musk scent, I find it delicious and addicting. The problem is that I have to reapply this frequently, slathering it on, but the scent it great. It's sexy, femenine yet I can totally see a man wearing this...I will definetely buy another bottle of Dorian.

For some reason, this smells like powder, both in the imp and on my skin. It smells llike a luxurious expensive powder, sweet and pretty, but none of the notes particularly stand out. It lasts a long time and it has great throw, but alas it's not for me.

Mmmmmmm...........this so very buttery, sweet, and rich in the bottle! I smell the vanilla, currants, and cake. On my skin however, it turns into one of those vanilla scented plastic dolls. I know it's not the vanilla note, because my skin loves BPAL's vanilla notes, however the cake notes as in the Monster Baits, etc, go plasticky on me. I like the way this smells so much, but I think it's better as a room scent.

This would be a really nice fruity sharp scent perfect for summer, if my I didn't hate patchouli so much and amp it up to HIPPIE of DOOM!!!! However for someone who can wear pachouli, especially a man, this would be a good scent, because I can smell the other notes in the imp....it's just that the pachouli devours the other notes and amps up until i had to go scrub it off....and after that it was still there....and after that I took a shower.....and it was still there.....

A musky, woody, floral. The scent that is most dominant on me is the musk, and it stays and stays, however this scent is kind of generic smelling to me, and not something that I would buy, but it's not terrible.

This doesnt really smell like lilies, per se, but there is a really strong unidentified fruity note with a hint of a floral. The oil is really red, so I thought that there might be be dragons blood in this, but I don't smell any in this blend. It's very light, and it fades away on my skin after about an hour or so, and there is very little throw. The last stage of this scent before fading away kind of reminds me of Black Lily's last stage...some wierd funkiness. I'm not really sure why my skin has done that to these two blends, but altogether I like Cobra Lily, although I probably wont buy a bottle, but I will hold on to my imp and use it up.

SO fruity, incredibly strong tropical fruit. I agree with a previous reviewer who said that it smells like melted gummi bears. The kumquat and pepper are the prominent notes, although something in it is not working with my skin chemistry. On my skin it smells like I sprayed some glade room freshener and then walked into the mist....at least it's very clean and fresh smelling. This is a really nice scent, but not for my chemistry. I might try my imp in an oil burner maybe...

In the Imp: Mmmm! Sweet, crisp, juicy apple! On skin: juicy sweet apple tempered by dragon's blood. There is a bit of floweriness with the hyacinth, but mostly the apple and dragons blood. This scent is wonderful, crisp, clean and fresh and I will definitely be ordering a bottle.

This was a frimp from the lab, and something that I would not have thought to pick out for myself.... In the imp: sweet sweet shea butter with some spruce or pine. On skin: the shea gets a little soapy at first, but in a good way, like an expensive super moisturizing French, triple milled soap made with real African shea butter. Mmmm. After a while, the shea quiets down a bit and the herbs come out, along with the woods. This is so freakin' good, it takes me back to when I was a kid, playing on the playground with wood chips nearby grassy meadows and forests. This is a very green scent, and the spruce adds a spicy woody kick to the creaminess of the shea and the greenness of the herbs. It's so clean and fresh smelling, I am definetely going to grab a bottle of this for the summer. I'm going to try and layer this with my Obatala and see how it goes. LOVE!

In the imp it's very promising, very sweet pomegranate juice with peach blossoms. On my skin it just transforms to a potpourri like fragrance, it reminds me of a crafts store or some sort of potpourri/candle shop. And some baby powder comes out too. I've been noticing that blends with myrtle in it seem to go powdery on me..but I wish I could pinpoint what it was that smells like a cheap candle. Don't like it.

In the imp: a bright sweet scent with a citrussy tang. On skin: almost all bergamot at first, it's a very sweet lime or lemony scent. After a while the peach note comes out, which to me smells very much like apricot, or apricot jam. The white musk adds a smoothness to the fruity scents, and although I can't really pick out the scent of the oakmoss, I think it's adding a subtle earthiness to the fragrance. This is a sweet and juicy sort of perfume, but it's not for me. I don't think my skin likes BPAL's peach notes.

Shadow Witch Orchid, Oya, and High John the Conqueror definetely have purple vibes to me.

At first sniff, this was a very clean, fresh, and femenine scent. The damascus rose is not at all rosey, if you're not a fan of rose scents I reccomend this anyway. The Kashmir musk is light and airy, and the orchid adds an exotic touch to the scent. The cream accord is very light, and never really comes out, but this scent is so beautiful. This was love at first sniff, and I definetely want to get more of this.

Mmm, this reminds me of an exotic Indian version of O. The amber and honey make it very sweet, the sandalwood adds an incensy touch, and the massioa bark makes it spicy. I'm not really sure what Massoia bark is, but it smells like cinnamon in this oil. Or maybe it's oude, because I'm not really sure what that is either. From time to time I get a whiff of fruit from the currant. This scent is sexy, delicious, and wearable. Long lasting too.

I'm kind of dissapointed with this one, because I love vanilla, tonka, and orchid. I almost bought three bottles unsniffed because I was so sure that I would absolutely love this. But when I opened the bottle I got this strong tropical fruity smell, it reminds me of bananas and coconut. On my skin: tropical fruit smoothie, with a hint of incense. This is not what I was expecting at all. Maybe it will get better with age....but by then it will be too late to get more......

Golden vanilla and gilded musk, stargazer lily, white sandalwood, grey amber, elemi, orris root, ambergris and sea moss. Well all of the wonderful reviews for this scent inspired me to buy a bottle unsniffed because everyone seemed to have great things to say about this oil. When I opened the bottle: Pickle juice.....something smells like brine in here, I can only assume that it's the sea moss, I don't know what else it could be. And also very strong men's cologne. It reminds me of some cologne that someone used to wear, but I can't place it. It smells kind of old-manish. I was hoping for the vanilla and the stargazer lily to come out, but alas, no. An hour later it has faded into a sweet ambery-musk sorta smell, but no vanilla. Wow. I am really dissapointed in this one. All I can hope is that this gets better with age, cuz I don't wanna go around smelling like I doused myself in my grampa's cologne.

This is a very refreshing scent, one that I would put on if I was trying to get out of bed in the morning. The grapefruit is very intense, with a hint of the ginger and the white tea. There is a hint of something light and fruity, which is the apple blossom I guess, but it never really comes out over the grapefruit. This scent is delicious though, perfect for hot sticky summer days.
-
This smells like a generic men's cologne. The musk dominates with the pachouli, with just a hint of poppy. Wow this is strong, the throw is intense, and it lasts and lasts. Unfortunately I wanted to wash this off, so that's not a good thing.

Odd herbs I can't identify, and some myrrh and other resins. This smells very wierd to me, and familiar but I cant figure out why. It smells kinda old ladyish, and I dont like it.
