The neroli is the dominant note in this blend, both in the imp and on my skin. To me this scent smells exactly like 4711 cologne, pretty much a citrussy neroli smell. It's good but not great.

Well, this is pretty much what everyone else said: lavender with a touch of eucalyptus. I put it on last night when I couldn't get to sleep, and it worked like a charm. I also dreamt more vividly and could remember my dreams, which usually doesn't happen until certain times of the month. I don't think I would buy a bottle of this though, because there are other BPAL blends that work better for me.

Wow, it's surprising that so many things are in this scent, because all I really smell is the sweet pea and carnation. To my nose this scent smells exactly like Desdemona but with a teensy bit of vanilla. I was hoping that the apple blossom and vanilla would come out more, but this scent is mostly dominated by carnation. It's pretty, but generic. I was expecting more from this blend.

In the imp: smells kind of like a generic men's cologne. On skin: green, fresh, and herbal. The ferns and palm really stand out, but the aquatic is very faint. After a while a fruity scent emerges-that must be the wine. A good masculine scent, but I think the wine kind of ruins it.

I love night blooming flowers, but this scent is just not what I was expecting. In the bottle it smells really sour, and heavy...I was wanting something lighter and more femenine. On my skin it turns into a really heavy manly cologne type scent, with that sour sharpness hovering in the background. So dissapointing.

This scent is one of my favorites, it's a gorgeous floral scent, however it smells exactly like baby powder. Now, I like the smell of baby powder, so that's not a problem. I can definetely pick out jasmine, rose, maybe magnolia or gardenia, and lily, along with other notes I can't discern. There's also a rich vanilla scent in there underneath it all. As for the voodoo properties I'm not so sure that guys like the scent of baby powder too much, but girls always compliment me when I wear it, and want to try it on. All in all, this is one of my favorites, clean, powdery, and simple. Smells like you just stepped out of a shower. Top ten!

In the imp: very strong dirt note, and very strong perfume. On skin: dirt over old lady perfume. It's like someone broke a full bottle of perfume in the dirt and mixed it around a bit to make a perfume mud. The scent of the perfume never really comes out fully over the soil, but you can tell it's there, and this scent lasts forever on my skin. The throw is great too, and eight hours later, a whisp of the soil smell is still there, and I get this patchouli vibe too. I do not like this, but people who love earthy scents will defenitely need to try it.

In the imp: it smells exactly like Jergens lotion, the cherry almond scent with a bit of an herbal undertone. On my skin: the cherry almond scent goes away almost immediately, and this odd floral herb scent comes through. It smells like scented geraniums, the rose scented geranium and spice, almost like the pure essential oils. I don't find this blend to be particularly sexy, it smells more like an aromatherapy blend than a voodoo blend. After a while it becomes a soft powdery scent, nice, but not bottleworthy. I'll keep my imp though, and see if the voodoo properties work.

In the imp: sweet apricot jam. Smells good enough to eat. On skin: spicy, buttery apricot cookie. I can definetely smell the clove in there, and the apricot note is very rich and foody. Drydown: peachy spicy candles. I smell like a Yankee candle store. This blend would be better for fall or wintertime room scent or potpourri.

Plumeria, pear and white champagne. In the bottle: plumeria. On skin: plumeria. I get nothing of the pear or champagne. At all. This lasts like five hours on me and I get no pear whatsoever (which is one of my favorite notes)and no champagne. I like plumeria and all, but I am sad about the absence of the pear. Wahhhh! Maybe I'll try it again when it has aged a bit.

I wasn't going to buy this, but the other reviews said that it smelled similar to Snow White, one of my most cherished scents, so I had to buy a bottle. First sniff: a minty cool violet, with a hint of my beloved Snow White. Very cool and refreshing, perfect for hot sticky days. On skin: the minty note fades out, and the violet escapes with some other floral, maybe snowdrop or some other flower, crocus or lily maybe. There is also a musk in here that comes out, and when it dries down it reminds me very much of a violet Snow White. Lasts a pretty long time too. I like it, but there is no replacement for SW. Beth please bring it back (preferably for GC)!

This is a scent that is so uncharacteristic of scents that I would pick out for myself, so I didn't think I would like it. But I do. In the imp it's very fruity, but like figs and raisins and dates. On my skin its a sweet, very rich floral, it reminds me of syrup but in a good way. The wine really comes through on my skin, and actually smells good. Usually wine notes smell really grody and sour on me, but this smells pretty good, nice and sweet and the myrrh adds an earthy resinous quality to the scent . The attar of rose doesn't come out at all as rose, it just adds a floral depth to the fruity sweetness of this scent. All in all, I like this, I would certainly consider buying a bottle for when I'm in a dark vampy mood, wearing a black and red lace up corset, decked out in dark lipstick and eyeshadow...this is something that a vampire queen would smell like.

In the imp this is very strong and floral, it smells like some sort of expensive lotion, but very powdery. I think that's the lily of the valley. On my skin it gets extemely floral, with a hint of fruit (apple blossom). Unfortunately the fig note does not come out at all on me, I can't really tell apart the hibiscus syriacus from the other florals, and everything just blends together to become a strong powdery floral on me, smelling very generic and old ladyish. The throw is amazing, and it stays for a long time. Too bad I smell like an old lady's bathroom. Not for me!!

I love Endymion! I go nuts for any BPAL blend with pear in it, and this is no exception. In the imp it's fresh juicy pear! Mmmmm! On my skin: pear with a hint of bois du rose, and a dash of white musk and florals. This scent is so fresh, clean, and juicy! Perfect for springtime, and would be perfect as a linen scent too. I want a bottle of this!

Mmmmm, honey amber and vanilla. At first it smells a little sickly sweet, but after a while it becomes a gorgeous honey scent that sticks very close to the skin but lasts a long time. I like this a lot, and it smells heavenly layered with Dragon's Milk. Definetely a bottle purchase when I have a chance.

In the imp: beautiful honeydew, cantaloupe, and watermelons! Just smelling this makes my mouth water. On my skin: just cantaloupe for about ten minutes, then this wierd herbally smell comes out that I don't really like, it kind of reminds me of the smell of bad breath. I think that might be the mosses, but I'm not too sure. Sometimes the lab's moss blends work on me and sometimes they don't. Well, this would have been the perfect fruity summertime scent if the evil mosses hadn't ruined it for me. Oh well.

In the bottle: booze! Fruity wine, some woods. It almost smells like incredibly strong fruity rum drink. On skin: blackberry? The booziness goes away on my skin and the scent of blackberry emerges, the same note from monsterbait closet. I don't really like blackberry on my skin because it gives me this wierd cat pee scent after a minute or so. After about an hour the cat pee smell dies down and it fades to a fruity sweet scent, but it's not something I would wear as perfume. I don't really like this.

In the bottle: spices and patchouli. On my skin: nothing but patchouli. Lasts forever, good throw, but I detest patchouli so much. Verdict: Hate.
-
This is so disgusting. It smells like celery with a little bit of caramel drizzled on top. Now, celery is my most hated food, so this blend literally makes me sick. I gotta go wash this off.
-
Wet on skin: metallic mints and eucalyptus. How do they manage to capture the scent of metal? Dry: a very cool and refreshing herbal/floral scent. It reminds me of minty tea with some lavender and violets thrown in, like one of those Celestial Seasonings teas. Dry after an hour: more violet than anything else. Very floral, femenine and powdery, but in a good way. I like it, it would be great in spring.

This is a frimp that I didn't think I would like. In the imp I can't even smell it, just a hint of a floral. On my skin: the lilies and the tuberose bloom, in the background is the gentle whisps of opium that aren't coming out fully on my skin. This scent is actually very sweet, and it reminds me of something from when I was a kid (like a lot of BPAL blends), but I can't quite place it. I like this, and maybe I'll buy a bottle of it when I get some extra cash.
-
This smells pretty good! It's very fruity and spicy. It reminds me of apple sauce with cinnamon on top, a little bit of apricot preserves, maybe a little clove and amber. I like it. Not a bottle purchase but I'm going to use my imp, and see if it works its' voodoo.
-
Oh my god. This is the first BPAL blend that has ever made me physically ill. When I first applied it, it smelled of strong cinnamon, which was not bad but not exactly my type of scent. After about five minutes, this horrible woody decaying wierd stench comes out and makes me very nauseous. I will never put this stuff on my skin again!

In the imp: Bubblegum. I guess that's the lotus. Reminds me of Jailbait in the imp. On skin: a fruity floral, very sweet and candylike. A very light rose with sugared petals, maybe a drop of berry. Sweet, pretty, and innocent. Not a bad rose scent. I like it.

In the imp: this is a pretty lemony floral. I love lemony florals! On skin: oh........the cedar. I forgot about the cedar....all I can smell is CEDAR with LEMON!! Like i just polished a cedar chest with lemon pledge!!!!!! Why do I not get florals or green tea on my skin? After an hour: flowery wood chips. I don't want to smell like a playground.
