    Milk and Cream Notes

How about Monster Bait: Bloody Mary? I haven't tried it yet but I love Zarita and am hoping to get the same creamy feel from Bloody Mary.

    Carnivàle

I received a partial frimp from this machine! Imp: Sweet juicy berries. Smells a little like pink bubblegum. Wet: Musky berries but as it drys it becomes a little spicy and the amber starts to come through. Dry: The berries have mostly faded leaving a spicy warm amber musk. Not a sweet as I was hoping for but still lovely. Now and then I still get a whiff of berries. Nice but probably not for me. I don't think I'll be hunting down a bottle.
  3. I find Sudha Segara, Alice & White Rabbit comforting. So sorry to hear of your loss

    Nuit

I was really keen to try this one as it features 'White Rose'. I can't wear rose without it taking over and turning to powder/burnt rose so I was interested to see if this would be different. Imp: Very light floral. Wet: This is a well blended floral which is not at all overpowering. I can just single out the jasmine, white rose and musk. Dry: The rose and musk become more dominant. A beautiful, feminine scent. It didn't turn to powder on me and the rose didn't take over completely but it did fade fast. I could barely smell it after a couple of hours. It's a lovely scent but not one I'd buy a bottle of.
  5. On me O smells *exactly* like Lush's B Never too Busy to be Beautiful shower gel. It's all honey!

    Zorya

Imp: Oriental Floral. Jasmine Wet: Smells a little like vinegar at first. This passes and I detect mostly jasmine. Dry: The jasmine blends more with the other florals, none of which I can distinguish. It's a clear, fresh and airy scent. 'Crystalline' is an accurate description. Later: The musk and spice come through creating a nice balance to the florals. This would be a good everyday kind of scent. A sophisticated, light, feminine fragrance. I like it but for some reason it reminds me of toilet freshener. I might give it another try.

    Blood Kiss

Imp: Sweet red wine Wet: Clove and red wine. The scent is so strong it makes my stomach turn. Dry: The clove disappears and the scent mellows. It becomes a very sweet vanilla, cherry, wine which gets muskier over time. A dark and sexy fragrance. This scent works well with my chemistry but I don't think it's for me. The dry down is nice but the initial wine and clove stage is really tough to get through.

    O

This is a lovely scent. It's mostly honey and amber on me. I can only detect the vanilla in the imp and when it's wet. When dry it has amazing similarities to Lush's B Never too Busy to be Beautiful Shower Gel. I could still smell the honey on my wrists when I woke up this morning. I do like it but I might wear it a few more times before deciding if it's really 'me'.

    Hell's Belle

Imp: Magnolia and mandarin. I love magnolia! My two favorite main stream scents contain magnolia and I was disappointed when Black Dahlia didn't work on me because of the rose. Wet: Spicy, creamy, magnolia. I could hardly smell anything at first and had to put a bit more on. Dry: A very warm and sensual scent. A little earthy and not my usual style. It's becomes quite musky, with only a hint of mandarin. The sweet magnolia remains in the background. I'm still undecided. I like this scent but wish the magnolia and mandarin would stick around a bit longer. It's the type of scent I'd wear out at night or to bed but not during the day.

    Rapture

Imp: Very Rosey Wet: Still detect mostly rose and a little musk. Dry: The jasmine starts to show itself but not enough to tame the rose. I can't detect any mandarin but it is becoming more musky. It's a very strong fragrance. The scent is wafting up as I'm typing, giving me a headache. A feminine floral that is mostly rose on me. It's not something I would wear but I recommend it to anyone who loves roses. Edit: After an hour it faded to a rose scented powder.

    New Orleans

Imp: Jasmine and Honey Wet: Just gorgeous! Jasmine, honey with a hint of spice in the background. It's definitely a sticky, humid scent. Sweet but not at all sickly. Dry: I love how the spices come through and blend with the jasmine. I can now detect a hint of lemon in the background. I can't stop sniffing my wrist! This scent stays very true to when it was wet. An absolutely beautiful floral. I love it. Perfect for summer and I think this requires a bottle.

    Dorian

Imp: Sweet Vanilla Tea. Quite a light fragrance. Wet: Sugary vanilla tea. The scent is much stronger than it was in the imp. I feel a slight headache coming on. Dry: This is quite lovely. The vanilla is becoming more creamy and the musk starts to come through. There's a hint of lemon in the background. It's sweet, sophisticated and a little sexy. I like this and it works well with my skin chemistry but today probably wasn't a good day to try it. The weather was hot and humid and I found the sweetness of Dorian a little nauseating.

    Ligeia

Bottle: Strong, sweet and a little bit green. I can detect the jasmine. Wet: Very floral and still quite sharp. The jasmine has taken a back seat to the rose geranium and juniper berry. The juniper berry is very intense and slightly sour. Dry: The jasmine comes through, the scent softens and becomes a little sweeter. It's quite lovely but not a scent I see myself wearing often. It's still mostly rose geranium and juniper berry on me, I was hoping for more jasmine.

    Brisingamen

I am so disappointed. This was amazing for about 15 mins before it turned to powder. At first it was all amber and apple blossom with a hint of spice from the carnation. An absolutely stunning, golden scent. It's quite light and not as strong as many bpal scents. Perfect for a warm summers day. Once dried it turned to a sweet baby powder on me. It's not an offensive powdery scent. It's quite clean and fresh but not really how I wish to smell.

    Black Dahlia

In the Bottle: Sweet, sharp and a little smoky Wet: First sniff I get a strong whiff of magnolia followed by black amber. It then turns quite smoky almost like ash. Dry: The smokiness fades and the magnolia starts to shine through. I can smell the magnolia over the jasmine with the black amber underneath. It's becoming a beautiful blend of florals, a little sweet yet a little spicy. This is gorgeous - a lush dark floral perfect for a night out. Hours later: The rose came through and took over, as rose always does. It then turned to powder. My husband described it as talcum powder crossed with palmolive soap. I really loved the initial stages of this scent but rose and I just don't get along *sigh*

    Queen of Sheba

In the Bottle: Horrible bitter almonds. I'm not a huge fan of almond so I hope it tones down on application. Wet: Still almonds but it starts to warm and soften as the spices come through. Dry: This is really lovely. I barely detect the almonds now. It's become very golden and slightly spicy with an almost floral edge. It's comforting yet a little sexy. To my surprise I really like this. Once I get through the bitter almond phase it's a really gorgeous scent.

    Jezebel

At First: Gorgeous sweet honey and orange blossom. It's very pretty but not too girly. The honey note is quite strong and I can detect some sandalwood. Dry Down: The rose starts to show itself. The other notes are still there but it's mostly rose. Hours Later: It's turned to a musky, soapy rose with only a hint of the initial sweetness. I really liked this at first but it's looking like I can't wear scents with rose. Every scent that I try with rose turns almost burnt and musky I had to wash it off.

    Versailles

This is lovely! It's so warm and golden. A very elegant and regal scent. At first I'm getting amber, jasmine and citrus. It's quite strong and a little sweet but very beautiful. After a couple of hours the the rose comes out and the scent becomes more musky. The citrus and amber are still there but they've mellowed. I quite like this. I don't think it would be an everyday scent but possibly something I'd wear every now and then EDIT: After a couple more hours I was left with nothing but rose. Not a pleasant rose, a very musky almost incense like rose. I had to wash it off.

    Belle Époque

This is nice. At first Belle Epoque is a very sophisticated light floral warmed with a hint of mandarin. Aside from the mandarin I'm not able to distinguish any of the individual floral notes. It's quite lovely but possibly a little too 'grown up' for me. After a couple of hours the florals start to fade and the vanilla takes over. The vanilla reminds me of Antique Lace, which doesn't work on me either. I'm finally left with a very faint soapy vanilla scent. This one doesn't last very long on me.

    Antique Lace

Antique Lace is not how I expected it to smell. I had imagined it as a fresh, clean, slightly floral and almost dreamy scent. Instead I'm getting a very sweet, heavy almost sickly vanilla. The vanilla appears to be intensifying as it drys. It's becoming very creamy and smooth but still has a sharp edge. It has similarities to Alice except sweeter and without the spiciness. I'm unfortunately not getting much musk, florals or powder. It's just ALL vanilla. It's quite pretty but isn't for me. If you love sweet vanilla then this scent is for you.

    Alice

Initially Alice was quite sweet and sharp. As it dried it became warmer, creamier and spicier with just a hint of sweetness. Very foody. It's a comforting scent, like being wrapped in a warm blanket on a cold day with a hot cup of milk and some gingersnap biscuits. Unfortunately the spiciness became too dominant for my liking, possibly the carnation. It's a lovely scent but definitely not for me.
  22. I would love to know of any similar Olive Branch scents too. It's my favorite Lush scent!
