    Eat Me

One of the first BPAL scents I ever tried and still my go to favorite. This one just works with my skin. Lovely sweet and cakiness with just enough currant and spice to keep it grounded. A stranger once hugged me when I was wearing this because I smelled so good. I regularly get compliments on it. It's magical.

    Alternative Facts

In the bottle, this was a lot of cherry, which I hoped for. Unfortunately, for me, that initial cherry that I love disappeared and I am left with the scuttling spiders and fog. I don't get the vanilla at all. My nose isn't trained enough to pick out the notes but it has a muskiness that lingers. Low throw but long lasting. I can still smell it today after trying it yesterday. Both of my children commented that they liked it on me but I don't prefer it. "Alternative Facts" seems a fitting name.

    Raspberry Sufganiyot

So sad. I love me some raspberry anything and most foodie scents work well on me, but this turned to Raspberry Tart, the plastic doll, right away. I was so looking forward to smelling like a doughnut, but it was not to be. However, I did layer on a bit of Eat Me after this died down a little and THAT combination was amazing!

    A Little More Tea

I was so excited for this to smell like butter cookies. But, it was not to be. I got a big blast a Earl Grey citrusy tea that has dried down to a lovely honey sweetness with just a hint of a dusty tea tin in the background. That dry, dusty note is just enough to ground it and keep it interesting. No cookies, just honey. I love it even though it has turned out completely different than I expected. It makes me want to wrap up in a cozy blanket with a cup of my favorite tea, reading books by the fire.
