Peach with white pear, rose musk, tobacco leaf, hay absolute, dried ruby fruits, and vanilla cream. I went to the con looking to pick my favorite among those that caught my eye and Peach I was the winner on all fronts. I really loved IX last year, with that rose musk, and Peach I did not disappoint. This starts off very ruby-fruit forward and fruity. No single fruit ever comes out, though, which I'm grateful for as I'm not suuuuper fond of fruit-heavy scents. The fruit quickly mellows into a warm sweetness, again, I couldn't compare it to any particular fruit but it is definitely ruby in tone, and softens to let more of the rose musk and white pear come forward with the cream. This scent is very creamy and warm, sweet but not syrupy, fruity but not foodie, and gently, softly floral...it's a perfect late summer/early fall scent, a little reminiscent of a warm pie or cobbler at the end of a cookout. I'm having trouble describing it further because it's so well blended but this is a gorgeous scent.

Lovely sweet and bright, this is a very wet white floral, leaning more towards floral but with a strong sense of wetness that keeps it aquatic. Was a bit odd at first but quickly settled into something sweet and lovely and fresh, the wetness keeps the florals from becoming sharp. Love this.

Beautiful deep (but not dark) blue aquatic. Salty and watery, it almost feels musky/leathery at times and is just a lovely pure aquatic blend.

So so gorgeous, I immediately bought a second bottle the day this arrived and I have never regretted it. This doesn't morph much from bottle to wearing, it's a soft soft sweet vanillic wood, blended beautifully, none of the notes stand out beyond the soft woods and it's just...absolutely gorgeous and evocative of the image. Definitely in my top ten.

This started off VERY woody, in such a way that I thought it was the lab's leather accord (which I assume is made with some of the same components here). Thankfully I like their leather but it is quite woody in the first hour, with just a hint of something sweet underneath it. Now that it's dry/wearing the wood has mellowed (but is still at the fore) and the rose and vanilla are coming through well and blending beautifully. The rose is subtle to me, but makes the scent very lovely with just enough flowery sweetness, paired with the vanilla and woods and other notes it's a very smooth, lovely wood.

Golden amber and coconut with frankincense, frothy vanilla, carnation, sweet aged patchouli, and lemongrass. So, so beautiful. Startled Toad quickly became one of my favorite scents. Starts off very lemony but that quiets in the first half hour to a sweet vanilla lemon (but not as gourmand as that sounds) with the patchouli and frankincense juuuust peeking up beneath it. I'm not really into patchouli at all but it's intoxicating in this scent, gives just the right amount of depth to play off the brightness of the lemongrass. Overall a pale yellow-green scent, fresh and sweet but won't bowl you over in it's intensity.

This was a surprise win for me, the scent I was most unsure of when buying Yules that I've ended up totally in love with. This is a softly woody, sweet, creamy scent. A wonderful balance, as it's not overly sweet or a terribly sharp wood (though I do love stronger wood scents), it's absolutely beautiful. It's warm and golden and one I will happily wear year round.
