The ghosts swarm. They speak as one person. Each loves you. Each has left something undone… With love to Rae Armantrout for the poem. Black lilies, red roses, and baby’s breath. A mild light flower scent with a shot of something metallic in the background. Vanilla? Midway? The dry down is a lightly warmed gourmand scent. Clean soap, roses. After 2hrs it faded to a faint rose-soap scent. This is bottle worthy for me.

Limited editions equivalents in the general catalog?

Not a GC, but Alleviate the Frenzy reminds me very much of Monsterbait Underpants for some reason. -
I wanted to LOVE this. It has everything in it that I love, especially the almond. But this is my least favorite of the lot that I bought. The initial scent was french fries, saltiness, something weird. A fast food restaurant. Even when it's left open for a few minutes, it doesn't get any better. It almost makes me have that gaggy lump in the back of my throat. What the frig? I want a do-over! (haha)

I wanted to love this, and I do like it, but only on the dry down. I was hoping that out of the box it would smell similar to the Snow White(s), but.... Gah! B.O. and light camphor! Lavender? Fir? The longer this was open, the more it grew on me. Definitely a wintry scent. Not Xmas. I could wear this.

Dry. Some kind of nut? Intriguing! On initial application the smell of the vanilla was strong. I didn't get any amber from this at all, but that's just me. I was hoping for the amber! This is a lovely autumnal scent.

Cloying. Purple, candy, the faintest shred of Midway with raspberry(?) and sweetness in a richly scented treat. The dry down allows the strong candy scent to fade a bit, but this is still to gourmand for me.

Clean, but not Cotton. Like clean, soapy skin. Light lavender.

A little floral, a little green, a little 90's perfume-y, very very light earthy.
-
Very light sent of coconut, that leaves me with the fading memory of TKO. Mild lavender. A little Midway on the drydown. Finishes with a whiff of the vanilla in Antique Lace.

Mmmmmm!!! Lovely, delicious, Beth perfume-y scent. Think the lightness of Zorya P. There's a long, strong scent of old school rubber doll head on the finish. Like baby powder and rose and plastic. Love that!
-
Dark soapy scent. Lavender. Metal? Medicine? Not a fan of this one.
-
White, dusty, mild scent. Dorian in the finish.
-
Lightly wine-y grape-y mixed with a mild perfume-y scent.
-
Sweet, dark pink candies. Leaves a lingering, faint breath of midway.
-
Warm, deep. Had an initial whiff of dill.

This is pure dirt with a smear of flowers on me. It's quite pungent! I had to wash it off. It always amazes me how exact the "earthy" scents are.

I just got a bottle of this and thought hmm..... this is Snow White! It's actually Snow White's rosey-pink little sister. Love this one!

On me, this smells like Midway with a splash of cat urine. I had to wash it off. I wanted to love it.

In Bottle: Fresh made waffle cone with vanilla ice cream. Wet on skin: the waffle cone smell becomes more amped with the vanilla scent staying more in the background. 2 mins. later..... Antique Lace! 5 mins. later.... It's almost gone. Dusty vanilla, no waffle cone, no longer reminds me of AL. Outcome: Lovely but no staying power, which makes it not a keeper.

I like this very much. It reminds me a little of Bordello, not sure why. Goes on strong, and stays pretty much the same on the dry down.

I always love BPAL's rose scents but this one is kind of funky on me. It smells like a lovely rose plus Windex. I'm hoping that as time wears on it will ease up a bit.

In the imp: Way too strong for me, which is funny because I love vanilla, honey, cherries and musk. It must be the other stuff that's turning me off. I thought this would be a hit with the description, but I can't get past the strong smell enough to put it on. (funny sidenote: when I let my 3 y/o niece smell it, she yelled "It smells like potatoes!". I don't think that's accurate, though. )

One of my all-time favorite BPAL's! I've been wearing this for years. It has a warm, smokey scent. I've noticed that the bottles that I have that are more lab-fresh leave me with more of a lime note. Not sure where that comes from. I like my Bordello aged! I always carry this one in my purse, along with Snake Charmer. I have had so many compliments on Bordello, it lasts a long time on me and is pretty much my signature scent in our family.

In the imp, I liked this a lot. On my skin, it's very strong and almost overpowering. I washed it off but some still lingered, and smelled like strong department store perfume. That's ok, it's just too strong for me. It's warm and reminds me of the evening.

This instantly reminded me of the incense stand at our local Renn Faire. I'm not a huge fan of patchouli, but this could work on me over time. It's strong, but I could get used to it.
