I'm always up for a grape scent, and I love this! It's going to replace Drops of Amontillado for me, because that was a lil freebie and I've only got 14 imps that I've hoarded.🙃 I can't slather it with wild abandon because ONLY 14 IMPS. But you, Heart-Shaped Hot Tub, will fulfill my grape fantasies. ❤️

Essence of Sunlight - What's the sunniest scent?
paperflowers replied to fiddledragon's topic in Recommendations
Akuma. It's dc though. -
I was bummed that I ended up with an entire bottle of this when a decant circle participant backed out after the Lab order was made. BUT... it's an interesting little fall scent! I was hesitant on the burnt coffee bean note, but it's not overwhelming. This would be delightful in a scent diffuser!

Ether is a nice one. Not overpowering, and smells great.

So lovely! The red musk smells a little grape-y, which is my absolute fave. Am I the only one who finds red musk similar to dark, deep wine/grapey-ness?
-
This reminds me of peach schnapps! A bit cloying in my throat, sweet and warm. I also have last year's Alleviate the Frenzy, and I can say that it has mellowed delightfully. So if this is too strong for you, put it away for a while and re-discover it later!

This smells like after a shower taken on a hot summer night. Warm, moist, humid skin.
-
I get mostly tobacco leaf with the rice milk underneath. The frank isn't overpowering, and this blend is more subtle than I originally thought it would be.
-
I LOVE THIS! Winey! Grapey! Smells dark and red and brown. I'm a big red musk fan, and I don't know if that's what makes this smell like wine/grapes to me, but I love it.

Ok, so I always thought I liked oud. I love Pumpkin Oud! But I've noticed that in some blends, oud smells like dirty diapers to me. My notes for this particular oud blend are: Muted soap. Something funky underneath. 1/10. No.

Wild Cherry Chypre and Smoky Patchouli Hair Gloss
paperflowers replied to zankoku_zen's topic in Hair
Cherry cough drops and sticky patchouli. Goth Luden cough drops circa 1989. -
White tea with a slight sweetness, and classic black cherry. Not teenage maraschino cherry, but sophisticated, older sister black cherry. Each component gets a chance to shine in this blend, nothing overpowers the other.
-
This reminds me of gritty chocolate hazelnut. It's not smooth, like a candy bar, it's smoky. And chunky? Is chunky a smell? This is a pass for me.
-
Lovely! This reminds me of sweet pie cherries in their red gel-goo. The amber tames it down a bit and keeps it from becoming total cherry insanity.
-
This reminds me of our winter vacations in Florida when I was a little girl. All that's missing is orange water! I love green tea scents, and this one is herbal but not bracing.
-
Snake Oil Perfection! Soft, powdery Snake Oil. Warm and sultry on my skin.
-
This was initially a light smelling scent to me, but on my skin it's warm, ripe, red fruits. There's a haze of strawberry, but not straight-up fresh strawberry. The pink amber gives it a little bit of a soft perfume-y scent.
-
I don't get a lot of buttercream, but there is a deep, soulful cherry scent (without the cough syrupiness). This smells WONDERFUL on my arms! Sweet, warm cherry.
-
Jasmine and lilac blooming on a dewy spring morning. Very well blended, neither overpowers the other.
-
I don't get any vanilla or bourbon out of this, but there is a nice light woodsy scent, along with soapy rose.
-
Soft coconut cream. This reminds me of childhood at the beach.
-
Sophisticated amber with an undertone of chocolate liqueur. My notes say this reminded me of "NYC hotel bar fancy drink".
-
Just like a brownie out of the oven with a dribble of butterscotch. This gets me in the back of the throat, with the thick chocolatey-ness.
-
Love this! I love the perfume, too. Soft rose with depth.

Reminds me of Bartles & James peach wine coolers (90's girl), soft, warm and fuzzy.
