A Witch Riding on a Dragon

in the bottle, i smelled mostly the sweet notes with a hint of smokey scorched oak. wet, it was all sweet. not cloying, but definitely strong. as it's dried down, the scorched oak and patchouli have gotten significantly stronger, mingling very nicely with the sweetness. overall: i love this scent!! it shifts so much, and is incredibly appealing no matter what phase of scent it's in.

    Seven Herbs Charm

in the imp and wet, comes off straight lemongrass. slowly as it dries, i get more of the other herbs. sage-y and something sweeter? and then eventually the lemon actually completely disappears and i'm left with just sharp herbs. definitely an interesting scent, though not one i wear very often at all.

    Tezcatlipoca

in the bottle: sooo chocolate. wet: the leather and chocolate kind of mingle to become tootsie roll on me, or at least to my nose. a few minutes later: whoa, where did that spice come from? suddenly very spicy, like incense and smoke. love this! dry: spice retreats some, chocolate comes back a bit, and the floral emerges. kind of evens out and almost smells generically masculine on me. overall: for me, it's kind of a roller coaster because i don't enjoy smelling like a tootsie roll but i love it when the spice comes out!

    Machu Picchu

first sniff from imp: lemony flowers! like a bright spring fairy. wet: lemon, light florals, and a hint of the amber. also moments of soap. dry: more of the amber and florals, though it fades very quickly so i barely get much of it dry before it disappears. overall: pleasant and light, really nice on a hot day. just wish it stuck around!
