I can see why this one is so popular. I was expecting it to smell like L'Occitan's Honey Harvest but it is much more delicate. Mostly amaretto on me actually...the milk and grain are very faint unlike the hearty oatmeal smell of Honey Harvest. Once it dries it is so very faint. I like a stronger scent. I may keep the imp but I don't think I'll need a bottle.

Imp: Either cedar or cypress and fig. Yummy and warm. Wet: A little cocoa but mostly a fig and wood scent. Dry: The woods stay too sharp for me. I think this would be much nicer on a man. The cocoa and fig are a delicious undertone.
-
Imp: Burning metal. Wet: Fire and smoke, metal and wood...smoldering. Dry: More and more acrid. Hot twisted metal, charred cedar trees a whiff of sulfur. I think Mr. Isis will love it.

Mostly jasmine and lavender. They don't sit comfortably against each other. The sweet and the astringent just don't mix nicely to me. It almost goes a bit stinky. All notes I love but apparently not at the same time.

Imp: Cloyingly sweet with some lavender. I closed the imp back up and can still smell it! Wet: Spicy and sweet. Apples, cinnamon and honey and a discordant herbal note. Maybe some fermented grape. Dry: It is starting to remind me of Carpet Fresh.

Bottle: Sweet water and an ambery men's cologne. Wet: Sweet, bright water. It has a touch of amber and a touch of green...also something a bit dry. Dry: As it dries a metallic note comes out. It is softer than any of the ones I've smelled in the Steamworks scents. From a distance there is something that reminds me of marches...reedy and wet and earth with that gold note shimmering on top. Up close there is a hidden sweetness. I love the uniqueness of this scent.

Imp: Faint chocolate and cherry something seems a bit off though. Wet: Sort of powdery and sweet. Some sort of cherry pastry with powdered sugar on top. Dry: Too foody for me. It goes sort of cherry pie filling.
-
Imp: The orange blossom is giving the vanilla an artificial smell. Wet: A bit musty and mothbally. Dry: Yep mothballs. I think that is the black narcissus on me. This is not my lucky day scentwise.
-
Imp: Puts me in mind of a more herbal New Orleans. Wet: Very pretty. The sweet honeysuckle plays nicely with the heliotrope. It is playful and girly. I almost catch the scent of new mown grass. Dry: The heliotrope is even more noticeable. It is more womanly than the rest of the blend...a little flashy. Beth really captures that worldly/innocent dichotomy.
-
Imp: Sweet and fruity. The ylang ylang and plum are lovely together. Wet: The lillies are star players now but there is an undertone of the juicy plum. Dry: Almost a little too sweet for me. Overall a lush white floral blend. Almost a bit over the top.
-
Imp: Patchouli and sweet coconut. Wet: Very coconuty. The patchouli makes it seem sort of dirty/musky though. Dry: The smell of a sweaty man wearing coconut scented suntan oil. Blech.
-
Imp: Hazelnut coffee and cream. Wet: Mmmmm...Irish coffee. Dry: I don't get much in the way of wood or books but this is hands down the nicest coffee scent I've ever smelled. It is just perfectly creamy and delicious.
-
Imp: Vetiver & cedar with something herbal. Wet: Hard to place. Powerfully stinky like hot asphalt. Dry: The asphalt scent just lingers. Azathoth is one scary god.
-
Imp: Yuck! Wine and patchouli are overpowering. Bravely I'll try it anyways. Wet: Strong jasmine and not in a good way. The Widow is overwhelming me. Dry: Had to wash it off. Too much for me to wait.
-
Imp: Bright happy citrus & verbena with a slight cedar note making it oddly industrial Wet: Much more woody but summery. Light colored wood polished with a citrusy polish. It smells better than that sounds. Dry: Sun warmed polished wood. I think this will be an awesome summer scent for Mr. Isis.

Cedar shavings and something damp an reedy. A little earth, a little green...strong throw. I'm using it to scent some mandrake critters so I'm pretty happy with it.
-
This reminds me of earthworms! Dirt and decay. Amazingly evocative but not wearable at all!
-
Imp: Smells strongly of sweet pea. It went so very wrong in Desdemona I'm worried. Wet: Sweet pea death Dry: Nothing is escaping that sweet pea...nothing.
-
Imp:Lavender and leather Wet: Lavender and creamy tonka. Very light. Dry:Woody but the lavender gives it a musty scent. I'm not a fan.

I know Nemesis and I have crossed paths before but I can't find a review... Imp: Strong cypress and vetiver with a sweet bit of rose. Wet: Mellow patchouli and a very complementary floral note. Warm, lush fig and a gingery bite. Dry: The good news is the cypress doesn't amp...the bad news is that red patchouli sometimes goes bad on me...and it did.

This was a skin chemistry disaster. Wrigley's Spearmint gum...jasmine...and after a few minutes salt. Which then dried down to a horridly overwhelming jasmine that had such a strong throw it required me to wash my arm. And it sounded so good...

Bottle: Patchouli and myrrh with a touch of sweet clover. Very smooth. Wet: It very much has a moist black earth smell but made beautiful with the sweetness and the fresh slightly minty cold note. That touch of melilot adds a greening that puts me in mind of things springing to life. I detect a bit of the cedar but it is just a whisper of trees in the distance. Dry: The silt is much more mellow but this is still an earthy scent mingled with sweet greens and mint. It is long lasting but stays close to the body which is perfect for hot weather. Overall: I had been worried about this one. I didn't know what to expect from silt and cedar usually goes very masculine on me. I'm glad I ordered it though. It is beautiful expression of a moment in time on the Nile. I can't wait to follow this path.

Imp: Bergamot, lavender and a touch of lemon. Wet: It is almost a bit musky. The lavender and citrus have almost a woody feel...dark and deep...I can't really figure out the right word to describe it. Dry: Bright lemongrass with a slight touch of lavender. Boy did this ever change in feel. The deep dark of night and sleep suddenly illuminated by dreams.

Imp: Interesting, a soft whisper of moss and leather. Barely there and a breath of florals. Wet: Rosewater and orange blossom water, a little warmth from the amber, a little tickle of incense. Dry: It is so very delicate on me. That seems at odds with other reviews but there is it. Most of the notes are there and they play together nicely making a surprisingly neutral scent. Not really masculine or feminine. Overall: I'm going to wear this for the day and see how it does out in the heat. I'm intrigued.

Imp: Holy heck...the scent just blasted me when I opened the cap. Way too sweet fruits and coconut mixed with cheap rum. Wet: When I try it on a bit more spiciness comes out but it is still a fruity monstrosity. Not for me. Dry: How strange...there is that butterscotch...another note I don't care for...off to swap.
