Jasmine. We're still not friends. Though it's turning to soap rather than cat pee or feces, so it could be worse. Unfortunately, due to my skin chemistry, I can't smell any of the other notes I might have likes, like the leather/cinnamon combo that sounded like it could be nice.

Wet: Warm amber, something lemony, eucalyptus. Not horrible. Not good either. Dry: Smells like tree. OK, but not for me. And the honey/amber in it makes it too sweet for my guy friend who likes to smell like tree, so I think this is a pass.

This is the scent I was most excited to try from this update! I was just going to blind bottle it and not bother getting a decant, but I couldn't wait that long to try it! Wet: Skin musk (which always has this clean, sort of lemony feel, to me) and vanilla, hints of rich sandalwood. Different than I was expecting - in my head this was going to be a white musk, but I don't think it is. This reminds me of my trip to Greece, years ago, and I have no idea why. Hmm. Dry: That warm vanilla sandalwood combo that I love so much, overlaid by a light, clean, bright skin musk. Not what I was expecting at all, but I think I really like. Keeping half of my decant while I try to decide if I need a bottle....I kind of think I might.

Wet: Mmm! Red musk, smoky, sexy, and a little dirty! (in a good way) Wow, that aged patchouli! I could smell the hazelnut briefly when I first applied, but it quickly faded into the background and is now just a general sweetness. This is so well blended! It's reminding me a bit of La Femme de Satan - I may have to try them side by side. Dry: It really smells like La Femme de Satan on me. Which is not bad at all, but I already have it. It's that combo of patchouli and red musk, with hints of nutty, smokiness that makes them so similar on me. I think. I look forward to testing them side by side to see if I am crazy or not.

So, you may or may not know this about me, but I am a coconut fiend. Like, it's a problem. Coconut comes up in 22 bottles in my collection! Like I said, a problem. So obviously I had to have this single note! Wet: Yessss. Warm, sweet, tropical, pure coconut. This is gorgeous. I love it. This is not the husky coconut from So Below, Raptures and Roses, Death Adder, etc. This is the white coconut meat of Paper Kite, Tiki Princess, Lovers and a Fan. It's tropical and makes me want to lay on the beach and drink drinks that have little umbrellas in them. It's pretty much happiness, in a bottle, really. You should probably try some. Dry: Doesn't morph. Coconut, pure and true! I may need to find more. It smells like summer and everything good about life.

Wet: Very green and reedy! A bit aquatic. With vanilla frosting underneath. So different and interesting! I like it. Dry: A very light scent, but so different from anything I have! I need to give it a better test (I have a million scents I am testing right now) but I kind of think I love it - just not sure how much I'll actually wear it.

Outlaw might be my new favourite leather scent! Wet, it's al creamy root beer, but dry (on me) it's an amazing worn leather and creamy vanilla sugar scent. SO. GOOD. Can't wait to get a bottle of it.

Well. I tried this, and then had to look up the notes. I had forgotten exactly what they were, but I was pretty sure there was Patch involved. But when I tried it, I was like...lemons? Huh? So I looked it up, and sure enough, sugared patch. When I smelled it again knowing there was patchouli in it, I could pick it out. But honestly, if I didn't have the notes I would have described this as musky, sugary, slightly woody lemons. WTF, nose? Anyway, I kinda like it, but I won't be needing anymore than the little 5ml spray bottle I have. I think I'll stick to Revenant Rhythm and Tricksy for my sweet patch needs.

Apparently I forgot to review this! I adore it, wear it pretty frequently (even though I have a billion glosses to choose from). The combo of musk and honey is killer - very sexy. The ambrette adds a little - Je ne sais quoi. Love!

Why am I just getting around to try this? It's glorious. I adore fig, and this is one of my favourite fig scents I have smelled. I wish it came in perfume. It's perfect with the sandalwood. I'll need way more of this.

Yep, that's Spooky! A blast of mint at first, followed by buttery sweet rum and coconut. Love.

Wet: Mmmm. So good! Strong root beer, cream, hints of leather coming through. LOVE. Dry: This turns into primarily a leather scent on me, which is OK, because this leather works really well on me, and most of it doesn't. This reads as a smooth, well-worn black leather to me. The root beer is still there, but much less prominent. Though I do with that the root beer had stayed strong, the leather makes this very different from Anti-Saloon league, which will help me justify buying a bottle ETA: A couple of hours later, this is essentially creamy vanilla sugar, soft leather, and wee hints of spicy root beer. WIN. Bottle, for sure.

I am not as big a fan of cake notes as I used to be, but I adore cardamom and so could not pass this up! Wet: Nummy vanilla cake, with LOTS of cardamom, yay! I always find it gets lost in scents, but this cardamom is not lost at all it is OUT THERE. Yum. The cake is sweet, but not buttery, which is great. I don't get any frosting, and I am ok with that too. The cardamom has a perfumey quality that keeps this from being too gourmand. It's different, and a bit sophisticated, for something that smells like cake. Dry: As this dries down, it becomes more balanced - the cake and cardamom are about equal. I like this a lot. I struggle to find scents that will be ok for work, and I have found bakery scents the best for that purpose, though they aren't necessarily my absolute favourite. People at the office just smell baked goods and get hungry, they never suspect it's my perfume. Anyway, considering getting a bottle, even though there's not as much cardamom in the dry down as I would have liked. I think it'll wear really well to work.

Wet: Coffee! To me, this is the same coffee note as in The Turkish Village and Café Mille. It's almost perfumey, sort of hard to describe. I do like it! I can smell hints of the liquor as well, but no cinnamon, which is surprising because I amp it. Dry: Actually, sort of similar to Café MIlle on me. I like it, but it's not wowing me enough to compete with any of the other coffee scents I own. Glad to have tried it though! But I was hoping for straight up coffee (like the single note) mixed with cinnamon, and this is not.

Wet: WOW this is almost all cookie on me, but let me tell you, it is the most realistic cookie note I have EVER smelled. Smells exactly like those vanilla girl guide cookies to me! Mmmm. Sadly, I don't get any tea yet. Dry: This fades really quickly to just a vague, creamy sweetness. It's still very pleasant, but my decant will be enough. I was hoping for more of a tea scent, this is much more gourmand.

Hi, welcome! I may be wrong, but I believe Antique Lace was discontinued due to a component issue, and is not able to be made any longer, much to everyone's sadness. -
Autumn Scents - recommend the ones you love

I think you would usually get both. I know in the past there have been issues with this, so it may be worth an email to the Lab just to make sure all is well with your order!

This has likely not rested long enough for me to test. And it's cold in my house. But I don't care! I am a sucker for all these notes except pear, which is kind of meh on me. Wet: And pear is what I get most of. Of course! Pure candied pear. And cat pee?? Whaaat? Dry: A BIT of the vanilla cream comes through, but this is still mostly a pear scent on me. I may test again another day when this has settled more, but so far I am thinking this one is not for me, sadly. Still so grateful to my fairy for it!

Wet: WOW. I love teak. And with caramel, patch and peach, it's pretty much heaven so far. It's kind of like Antikythera with fruit. YUM. Dry: Really good. My favourite peach scent I have tried so far. The peach is sweet - more like dried peach or peach syrup than fresh. The sweetness is tempered perfectly by the wood and patch, but the peach is still the star. The caramel just ads to the sweetness and richness. This is great, so glad to have it! A big thanks to my fairy and the friend who arranged this through the fairy!

Wet: Almond. And soap. interesting...? Hmm, also a burnt plastic edge. I'm going to let that settle a bit on my arm. Dry: Mostly Sandalwood and roses. Which is lovely, but I have a lot of rosy blends. This is very nice, but it's just not wowing me
-
Wet: I think these are white roses, and they're lovely. Girlie and sweet. The honey adds to that, and the saffron gives it a really interesting, perfumey quality separate from the rose. So far Frank hasn't stomped all over everything, so that's good. Something in this wants to go a weeee bit plastic though. Darn. Dry: There is something sickly sweet, fake and plastic about this on my skin. I have no idea how three notes (I never smell the Frank) that I love to much can combine to smell so horrid on me. This is simply not for me. Glad I got to try it though!

I could really use a pick-me-up today, I figured trying this out my e just the thing! (I hope) Wet: Mmmm Initially it reminds me of the Laces. Which is not a bad thing at all. This is fruitier though - the dark plum is lovely. The incense and opium are sexy and smoky. The Napalese amber is sweet and glorious (one of my favourite notes of all time) Dry: The throw is lovely - more sweet plum and amber with the opium. Nose to wrist though, it's all opium and it's not really my thing. I have learned though, that often that means I need to test it somewhere warmer, like the crook of my elbow. Currently though I am just too chilled to roll up the sleeves of my sweater (like another reason the throw and close-up scent are so different...I'm frozen!) and test this in the crook of my elbow. So I will revisit this!

Wet: Raisin! Cool. I had never smelled the Lab's raisin note. I am loving it. Hints of tobacco and caramel. A really neat scent so far! Dry: Really interesting. Dark, sticky, fruity. The hints of tobacco and sandalwood ground it nicely, and keep it from being too gourmand. It's interesting. A little masculine, somehow, on me, or maybe unisex is a better description, as I can see wearing it. I think I need to test this further!

Wet: Mmm! Dark fruity resin magic. Lovely. Dry: This fades quite a bit. It's mostly dark fruit, which I do love, but I'm not sure it has enough throw or lasting power on me to be something I would wear for a whole day. May need further testing!
