Wet: Boozey cherry and cinnamon! Good combo. The cherry gets less boozey and more candy-like. Not cough-syrupy, which is good. Cherry is iffy on me, so I was taking a risk with this, but so far I really like it. Sweet spicy cherry! Dry: Nice! Spicy cherry. In the same vein as The Phantom Calliope and Enraged Groundhog Musk on me. I love this type of fruity/spicy mix.

Wet: Spicy, sugary. A bit perfumey. Interesting, and different from the other spicy blends I have (I love spices and have a lot in my collection) Dry: I really love the musk in this, it's different than any other musk I've smelled. It goes so well with the spices and sugar. I really like this.

Uncontrollable passion and insatiable sexual desire: red musk, patchouli, ylang ylang and myrrh. Frimp from the Lab! Puddin put up a Luper teaser that appeared to be Lust Smooch, so I figure I had better try this now! Wet: Lots of red musk. The patchouli is a faint undercurrent. As it warms on my skin I'm detecting hints of Myrrh. I love all three of those notes, and they're playing really nicely together so far. Sexay! Dry: The patchouli really dominates when this is dry. I do like it, but I have other patchouli scents I like better. That being said, I will jump all over this as a Smooch, because when it's wet and I can smell the musk and Myrrh as well as the Patch, it's divine!

Wet: The lab's effervescent champagne note....with sour smelly socks underneath. Or maybe smelly cheese? Something in there is sour and salty and not playing well with my sin chemistry, but boy do I love that champagne note sitting on top of it! Dry: The funky smell goes away, yay! This is really sweet on me. While I do love that champagne note, I think the sweetness of the wine is ruining it for me. I'm really not getting any of the other notes, just amping the wine and champagne, and they're competing for dominance. The result is not something I really care for.

Leather is so iffy on me, and so are "woods" but I love trying things! So here I go. Wet: I know it's not listed, but this smells really strongly of vetiver to me when it's wet. Like pretty much vetiver single note. Not sure what to think of that. Dry: I'm still getting a vetiver vibe from this! I don't know if the combo of the leather and woods is tricking my nose, or what. It's not bad or anything, I don't mind vetiver. But this really isn't my type of thing. I'm kind of confused by it too, and even sort of wonder if this imp is mis-labeled. I will likely try another imp another time if I get the opportunity. ETA: I see others have smelled vetiver in this, so I am likely not entirely crazy.

Love amber, love musk - high hopes!! Wet: Yep, that's amber and musk. A bit heavier on the amber. So good! Dry: I really like this. I'm trying to decide if I need a bottle. It's simple and gorgeous - warm amber, black musk. I love both of those notes, and they're great together. But I have lots of amber blends and lots of musk blends, so I'll have to think about it.

Wet: The honey wine is really strong, and more wine than honey. It's better on me than most of the Lab's wine notes though, which my skin generally doesn't like. Dry: This doesn't really work with my chemistry. The wine is sweet and sour at the same time, drowning everything else out. I will keep the imp because I'm collecting all the Wanderlust scents, but not sure I'll wear it much.

Wet: Much sweeter than I anticipated. Really nice so far! Instantly alluring. Vanilla, cedar (which I don't always like, but am digging in this) and carnation are dominant at this stage. The carnation isn't taking over, just lending some floral spiciness. This is really interesting. Fairly gender neutral. Maybe a touch more on the feminine side, but I think a man could wear it. Dry; The cedar has amped on me, and now it is much more masculine than unisex. It's really nice though, I think I would really like this on a man.

Orange blossom is so iffy on me. I don't care for it in most things, but I like trying everything I can. You never know! Wet: Not terrible? Not as bad as orange blossom sometimes is, but still bitter on me. It quickly turns chemically, and at this stage it actually is, truly terrible. Blarg! Dry: Orange blossom is just awful on me. One of the most unpleasant notes for me. Bitter, chemical.

Ooooh! This sounds FANTASTIC! Reviews say it "gender neutral," which is what I usually gravitate towards! Even though there are only three reviews, I think I'm coveting Mat Night! I see it's a 'retail only' scent, so I'm assuming I'll have to get it in the forum/Facebook/or Ebay. Wish me luck!!! Gah! So, I'm wearing Miskatonic U right now in a scent locket, and I'm reveling in it. REVELING. Like, I'm in a freezing cold classroom doing nothing for eight hours, and I don't even care because of Miskatonic! That's what I want my new winter scent to be, and Mat Night sounds SOOOO CLOSE!. Or you can actually order it directly from Pretty Indulgent, they ship to the US.

Never tried anything with rhubarb in it, so I'm fairly excited to try this! Wet: Really interesting! The oak is a bit overpowering at first (and I'm not a fan of oak) but then the other notes come into play and it calms down a bit. I think the fig leaf must be the greenness I'm getting from this. It's really interesting. Not sure yet if it's something I would ever wear, but really interesting. I think a woman could maybe wear it? But it does read fairly masculine on me. Dry: This is better dry. It's really unique, very green. Woody. A bit tangy. It's not something I could wear, but really glad to have gotten to try it. Might be really great on a guy.

I had avoided this because of the violet, but got it as a frimp, and I have a rule about trying everything I can, so here goes! Wet: Sour. Acrid. Astringent and green. Not pleasant thus far. Hoping the Myrrh saves this from being totally terrible on me. Boy, it's strong! Dry: Violet. Really sour violet. Oh well, I tried it!

Wet: Not dissimilar to The Red Queen, on me, though the lavender in this sets them apart. The cherry and wood are a bit similar though. I'm finding them to be really discordant with the lavender. Dry: This is really strange on me. Wood, cheery and lavender. The combination is just not doing it for me. It's not bad or anything, just not something that I feel I want to wear.

Wet: White florals, a bit sharp and bitter. Dry: Unfortunately this goes really soapy with my skin chemistry. I can't even really pick out individual notes.
-
Wet: A sweet floral. A bit similar to lilac, but not quite. Also getting some green notes. I've never really smelled pansy in anything before. It's quite lovely. I do love sweet florals, and this certainly is one. I'm not finding it sickly sweet or anything though. There's just enough freshness. Dry: It loses the green, fresh edge and gets sweeter, becoming a touch too sweet (and I really like sweet florals). I do think I like pansy, based on this, however I think I would like it blended with something that would ground it and keep it from being so sweet. Glad to have tried it though!

Wet: Woody, sour, soapy. Not a great start. Really astringent. Herbal. Not pleasant on me so far. Dry: Remains quite sour, not nice with my skin chemistry. I'm not at all sure which note has gone badly - based on history though I think it has to be the oak (maybe the osmanthus). Just before it fades away completely it turns to a nice soft floral of lilac and rose, but it's so faint, and so unpleasant before that that this won't be one I can wear. Too bad, lilacs and roses are two of my favourite florals.

I've only experiences Angel's trumpet in one other scent (Yorick) and I love it, so I had to try this as well. Wet: Uh oh, I think the orris is dominating. Orris and I don't get along well. This is really unpleasant, currently. A bit like the scent of rotting meat poorly covered by floral air freshener. My skin chemistry is destroying this. Dry: Aquatic violets. Orris often smells like violets on me, which I don't care for, and I don't generally care for aquatics either. This one is not for me, but glad to have gotten to try it! The Angel's trumpet wasn't identifiable for me, unfortunately.

Wet: Super sweet, almost syrupy rose. Some freshness starts to come through quickly though. Not really getting the Frank yet, just really strong, sweet rose. Dry: The frank never shows up. This is a really nice rose on me, but I have a ton of rose in my collection, so I don't feel the need to seek out more of this particular one.

I thought hated the Lab's snow note as well, but there are a bunch of different snow notes, and I have fallen madly in love with the one in Mat Night - caramelized tobacco and slowly falling snow muffling the scent of a distant fire. It's my perfect winter scent. I got it on a whim - thought I hated both snow and fire/smoke, but I love tobacco. It's primarily slushy snow on me, it has jumped onto my top 10 list, and I have gotten a ton of compliments on it. If you're feeling brave, give it a shot!!

I thought I hated Dragon's Blood for years, and I avoided it. But recently I've realized my tastes have changed, and there were also notes I mis-identified when I first started collection that I need to revisit. Dragon's Blood is one of those, so I was excited to get a frimp of this from the Lab, as I already know I love Musk. Wet: Musk, and something resinous, a little sweet, kind of spicy. "Thick" smelling. I assume that's the Dragon's Blood, and so far I like it. There's almost a floral quality to it. Interesting! I quite like it. Dry: Quite pleasant. I like it, but it's not mind blowing on me. I don't feel the need to seek out more. I am really happy, however that I have discovered I do not need to avoid Dragon's Blood. In fact, looking forward to trying it in other scents.

Wet: Not at all what I expected. The honey wine is dominant so far, and it's almost effervescent - like sparkling wine. Really nice, actually, just not what I was expecting! It's quite light. If I huff on my arm hard, I can get hints of the Myrrh, but no sign of lilac. I do think I like it though! Dry: Same as wet. A light honey wine scent, slightly effervescent. Nice, but not wowing me.

How is it that I've not reviewed this? I love Cicuta. It's one of those scents that smells a little different every time I wear it, but it's always good. Sometimes it's a bit more rose dominant. Sometimes it's really incensey. It's always pure love. There is something haunting about it. It's really beautiful, and hard to describe, but I cherish it.

No clue what deadly nightshade smells like, but I am stoked to try this. Wet: Raw honey, and a floral that I can only assume is deadly nightshade. It's a rather green floral. Fairly nondescript. Nice though. But it's not blowing my mind. Dry: Soft honey and that gentle floral note. It's pretty, but I like some of the other Apiary scents better.

I have no idea why I desperate wanted to try this. It was like I ignored the fact that jasmine is a note in this. Actually, it's like I ignored all of the notes except Saffron-infused bourbon vanilla, blackened honey. I stopped reading after that. Anyway, here goes! My mind is open. Wet: Jasmine. HOWEVER, I'm not amping it, and the other notes are there too - blackened honey for sure, and I think I am getting the hay too, which is lovely. It's not awful at all. It would be really cool if there was such a thing as a jasmine blend I could wear. If anyone could do it, it would be Beth. Dry: Jasmine. I will say that as far as jasmine goes, this is fairly nice, but I still can't bring myself to like it. I would imagine that if you liked jasmine this would be absolutely beautiful.

It's been my experience that when I ask the Lab to combine orders (which is frequently) if the total combined for the orders qualifies for free shipping they will refund everything you paid for shipping. They are super awesome like that. I had them combine two fairly large orders into one giant order once that then qualified for free shipping, and they refunded me the shipping I had paid on each of the individual orders. I didn't ask them to do that, they just automatically do when you've asked them to combine orders. I would shoot them an email.
