    Lick It One More Time

This is just what I wanted! Tokyo Stomp let me down badly in the sugary vanilla mint stakes but this more than makes up for it. Sharp, sweet and lasts way better than I expected. It doesn't change much from application to dry down, maybe gets a little creamier but that's it. I didn't get to try the previous Lick It's but I'm thinking about it now :-)

    El Dia de los Reyes

Wow.... spicy chocolate goodness! It starts off a lttle malty on my skin, almost like ovaltine and tbh I was a little concerned. However once it started to dry the chocolate came back with a vengence with a little cinnamon to liven it up. Now it's dried down I get a lovely rich milky chocolate with a hint of spice and a surprising amount of throw. No coffee really but I don't mind, I am more than happy with this one the way it is!

    Gennivre, L’Artiste du Diable

This is moroccan mint tea with a bit of honey stirred in to sweeten it up. It is very true on my skin, not changing at all from how it goes on. It is absolutly beautiful and I think I might need more already! I got masses of complements at work today too, all hail Gennivre!

    Libra 2007

The description sounds amazing: I love all the notes in this, I just hope they work together! I'm a Libra so this has to work on me, fortunately I am not disappointed at all :-D The cherry, plum and current hit you first, then the rose comes into play. The red, fruity notes are bright and fizzy, the rose soft and pink. The is a lightness to it, there are no heavy notes just a lovely, sweet airy fragrance. That doesn't mean to say that it isn't strong mind, there is a lot of throw and two hours later I'm still getting wafts of it, as is my boyfriend who is sat about a meter way! I love Libra. I think I was always going to really!

    Bearded Lady

Crikey, that's tooo much floral! I love rose, vanilla and violet but I can't cope with this one, it is way to sharp on my skin, even after it has dried down. I was really hoping for that lovely Antique Lace effect but it was not to be. And it makes me sneeze (must be the lillies)

    Antique Lace

I just got this in swap, so this is my first time wearing it. Luckily I love vanilla as that's pretty much all I get! A very strong creamy vanilla that reminds me of the vanilla musk body spray I used to wear as a teenager. Very femanine, very pretty with masses of throw... I might consider a bottle!!

    Aureus

Hmmm.... resin-y scents tend not too like me and this was sadly no exception. Shame, I liked the idea of smelling of golden light! In good news however, I gave this to the boyfriend and he loves it (and I like the smell on him as well!) Sin chemistry is a very odd thing....

    Monster Bait: Tokyo Stomp

Disappeared within a hour. After burning me to death in a firey pit of mint (OK, it stung a bit ). I'm so dissapointed!

    Monster Bait: Bloody Mary

Oh my word... I can't believe I nearly didn't buy this! It's bloody gorgeous! It's a real childhood smell for me: it's the smell of ice cream floats made with cherryade. Sweet, fruity, sticky and creamy all at once. It's got great staying power (a good 6 hours I reckon) and now it's finally fading away, I'm getting just an occasional waft of vanilla-ry sugar... I loves it

    The Knave of Hearts

Does exactly what it says on the tin. A fabulous blend and another gorgeous rose blend for my collection Seriously, I love rose and I love cakey, buttery scents. I think this is going to one of my all time favourites!!

    Enraged Groundhog Musk

Bottle: Mmmm... spicy cakes! Wet: Spicy! God god, this is strong. I keep getting occasional wafts of cherry bakewell... Dry: Fortunately it soon settles down to a lovely warm spicy, caramel vanilla. The cherry has gone and the chocolate never arrived. So just like Vice then! Thank god for the spiciness and foodiness for saving the day...

    Two, Five & Seven

It's not Rose Red but was it ever going to be really? Nethertheless, this is now my second favourite rose blend. It's very sweet, almost like a candied rose. I don't get any green at all but that doesn't bother me too much. It takes a bit of settling down once applied, but once it does and the roses start to bloom it is very lovely indeed. Summery and pretty. Kinda like Rose Red's playful little sister.

    Boomslang

This will be an interesting as I have never tried Snake Oil! In the imp: Cocoa. Wow, I can't believe how dark the oil! Wet: Chocolate covered goodness... oh yummy Dry: The chocolate has calmed down and the resulting smell is just utterly lovely. Deep, warm, just sweet enough but not too sweet, woody, spicy... it ticks every box. *adds to next order plus an imp of Snake Oil!*

    Jezebel

Rose and Honey. In that order. It has an incredibly powerful kick and 9 hours after applying it lightly I can still smell it on my wrist. I will be buying a large bottle of this without a doubt. It's gorgeous, summery, femanine and pretty much everything I wanted it to be.

    Vice

In the Imp: Cherry. Very sweet and sticky. Wet: Cherry!! How very strident! Dry: Cherry Bakewells. Where is the chocolate? I wanted chocolate!! And why can I smell almonds?! Sadly, the chocolate never appears. And tbh, the cherry only lasted about an hour. My first bpal mistep I think.

    Mr. Nancy

*edit: I think the love affair is over sadly. First time I wore Mr Nancy it was all sweet cookies, fizzy lime with a hit of booze. I've worn it three times more after that first time and I have no idea what's changed but it doesn't work the same... I get the lime and cookies and then aftershave and burning... gutted. *

    Akuma

Neroli!! How I love thee.... Can't smell anything but Neroli in the imp... and within seconds of applying, I get smacked round the face with it! This'll be lovely for popping on after my Lush 'Pleasure Treasure' massage bar.... It's drying now and getting a little sweeter... (is that the raspberry there?). I wish it stayed sharper and more Neroli-like for longer, but still it's such a pretty fragrance. For summer days when I'm being girly and silly.

    Rose Red

Ok, so I'm a newbie and haven't tried much yet. Thing is though, I'm not sure that anything will ever top this gorgeous stuff. It is the most beautiful, evocative perfume I have ever worn - not just the rose, but the garden, the leaves, the frost.... everything. It lasts all days, sticks to my clothes, makes my boy go all weak-kneed and picks up complements from random strangers. It is the lovliest perfume and the only problem now is that I daren't try any other Rose blends in case they don't match up!

    Spooky

I got this from a lovely lady on the Lush forum: one of my first bpal and one of my favourites. To me, it starts off as mint chocolate biscuits with a hint of something boozy and ends up smelling of Malibu (rum and coconut) with a hint of mint. Which is no bad thing! And it lasts... apply a small amount in the morning and it does me just short of a full working day. In short, it makes me very happy and very silly. And I always get complements on how good I smell with this one.... bonus!
