Favorite Scents
One of my favorite subjects. Things that smell green, tan, white, grayish-violet, and a deep warm red. sweet sandalwood (how Gonesh brand incense smells), pine, lily of the valley, gardenia, outside in the wintertime before it snows, snow, blood, forest in the fall, jasmine, ginger, sweet spicy things, warm muted spicey things, wisteria, lilac, old english roses, blood, that particular fleshy smell that comes with any flower petal that tells you it is a flower (not the smell of the flower itself, the smell of it's flesh), skin, dragon's blood, different kinds of opium, various kinds of wood, paper, a pine forest just after most of the rain has evaporated, the smell of the air right before a thunder and lightning storm blows in, a lotion from Victoria's Secret called Angel - Heaven, Brassia Rex 'Sakata' (fresh cut grass with a slight background of very mild sweet cream), Sederia japonica. Things that are heavy and lush and feel as if they are oozing out of me, like the smell of a mercenary heroine-turned-goddess incarnate.
Right now I am trying out a handful of imps I ordered which just arrived this past Saturday (i was so excited). I found that so far my favorite has been to put on Aureus, and then Bastet on top. After the very strong top notes fade a bit, holy crap, that smells good on me.
