In the imp, there are too many notes to pick out except a faint sweetness. on my skin it smells like powdered milk, hot black tea, and laundry soap pods - the kind you want to eat even when you know they're poison.

In the bottle it is mostly pine, but on my skin it smells like Christmas trees in expensive hotel lobbies. It smells like the subtle cologne of passing businessmen and the astringent scent of places that are always clean.

In the bottle, it's evergreen and faint florals. Calming and meditative scent. On me it smells blue-green and herbal.

In the bottle it is floral with slight fruity notes, on my skin it becomes flowers and candy. It's not a bad smell, but it's a bit sweeter and less spooky than I was hoping for. I have very acidic skin, though, so that happens sometimes.

In the bottle I get nothing but the overwhelming chocolate, on my skin it's chocolate and salt. Like an ocean of chocolate, which is a lovely idea.

In the bottle: COFFEE, booze, sugary cream. What it says on the tin. Wet: less coffee, more cream, wheat whiskey notes. Dry: I am hungry now. Salty butter and whiskey with most of the booze evaporated, coffee brewing in the next room and something that smells like trees? It's a foody, cafe and bakery smell. I don't know where they serve both pastries and booze, but I want to go there.

In the bottle: spicy chocolate and honey. It smells almost like there's chili pepper in the mix, it's so warm and the edge of the resin is so sharp. Wet: the chocolate fades fast under the drier scents, the myrrh is stronger right now than any other scent. Dry: amber and myrrh and a trace of what I guess is the cardamom, something dry and spicy. Warm and comfortable, without much throw. I will be wearing this on bad days to comfort myself.

Is there some rose in the florals of Shoggoth? It smells like candied lemon peel and rose Turkish delight. There's another floral with a green, powdery edge to it just slightly stronger than the musk note, which ... is that supposed to be what coconut smells like? That does not smell like coconut to me. It smells like how sunflower petals taste. It's a very sweet smell on me, which is nice but unexpected for a Lovecraft scent. It doesn't smell like creeping horrors at all!

I just got Velvet, and on me it does smell like a sophisticated incense with something warm and chocolatey hovering in the back of the nose, not too bad and worth the price of the bottle. On my husband it smells SO SEXY, just the right blend of sandalwood and chocolate with something almost ambery about the myrrh's powdery sweetness. I just want to lick him.
