Oh yes, The Little Sparrow smells that way on me too. It's definitely furry/downy.

Imp: Lemons! Wet: Lemons. It smells the way the outer shell of a "Lemonhead" candy tastes. Sour, bitter and sweet lemon. Drydown: The LEMON has mellower and I can smell the jasmine and neroli. They aren't being very nice. They're making everything bitter and astringent. After a few more minutes, it's gone soapy. Overall: Strike out again with the lab's jasmine.

Imp: Grape candy. Wet: Grape candy and bitter herbs and snake oil. Drydown: I think the sugar cane and frankincense is combining to give a sweet/tart fruity scent. This is purply and beautiful. I tried TV over a year ago and didn't like it. Obviously my tastes have changed. Purple fruit, purple flowers and snake oil. Yum! Overall: I'm glad that I tried this again. It's such an awesome scent!

Imp: Cherry, lotus, and a teeny bit of almond. Wet: Creamy, sweet, golden scent. Almost foody. Something reminds me of graham crackers. Drydown: It's not as creamy as it was when wet. It's bright and golden, sweet, but there's a tinge of tartness. This might be an amber that doesn't work on me. It's morphing into a raw honey scent. Lotus stays strong. Overall: This is nice, but not sure if I need a bottle. Very little throw.

Mole (LE - Wind in the Willows) is a furry scent. It is a warm, animal hide/fur scent.
-
Wet: Green floral. Something "cool" in this, but it's not mint. Just a "chilled" note. Like cold marble. There is something in this that reminds me of Mole. Drydown: The "coolness" fades. The scent sweetens. There's a slight tartness. It could be the sandalwood, as it's sometimes "tangy" on my skin. The sweetness is not distinctly vanilla. It's more a musk'y sweetness. Maybe the incense? Overall: I really like this. It's floral without screaming "FLORAL"! This has enough depth to wear in the cooler months, but it'll be great in hot weather, as it's not too sweet or smoky.
-
Imp: Green florals. "clean" Wet: Flower stems. Drydown: I really like the drydown. It's a clean, fruity floral scent. I think of spring rain. Further drydown, I smell beer. Yum. Overall: I like this scent. This will be a fun summer weekend scent.
-
Imp: Bitter woods. Wet: Leather, smoke Drydown: The leather and smokey vetiver overpowers everything. I don't smell any of the flowers or the cinammon. After a couple hours, the cinnamon made an appearance, and the other dominant notes have melded together and is very nice now. Overall: Great throw. I don't think I'll wear this very often. It's very masculine. Might try this on the DH.

Imp: Melons! Wet: Sweet melons! Yum! Oh, this is good! Drydown: Melon candy. This smells so delicious, I want to lick it! Overall: This scent does not morph. Hurray! It has medium throw and good wear length. This is a fun warm weather scent.

Imp: Tangy Wet: Tart/tangy fruit. Citrus blast. Drydown: Initially, this is straight up citrus. It starts to mellow after a few minutes. After a while, it starts to smell like ornge hard candy. There is a slight sweet musk scent in the extreme drydown. Overall: This is yummy. It starts out strong citrus, but it tones down to a wonderfully sweet fruity musk scent.

Imp: Strong heady, bitter, jasmine. (a bit hesitant in applying as I've had horrible luck with the lab's jasmine) Wet: Jasmine and neroli. There's not much throw, but boy is it bitter. Drydown: The scent has mellowed and sweetened. The jasmine is no longer in my face. It's become a golden brown scent. Overall: I think that this is too heady for me. The lab's jasmine strikes again.
-
Bottle: Dry men's cologne Wet: Tobacco and leather Drydown: Sweet tobacco and leather. At first, the tobacco is stronger, but after about 45 minutes, the leather becomes dominant. Overall: I really like this. I'm glad I got a bottle. It's a masculine scent, but luckily I like them and can wear them (usually). This is exactly how I would expect a tobacco/leather blend to smell. It's intoxicating.

Imp: Pinot Noir, jasmine, sharp woods. Wet: Softer woods, mild jasmine, sweet dark incense. Drydown: Damn! The rose and jasmine have taken over. Overall: This ends up all heady florals on me. Boo.

Bottle: Prune juice and leather. Wet: Leather in a library. I think "library" because I'm smelling a dusty note. Drydown: Leather and musk. There's a slight sharpness that I think is the hops and leather together. The musk is not sweet. It's a pungent musk. Overall: My review probably did not do justice to this scent. It's quite interesting to wear. I couldn't stop sniffing myself. It's quite masculine. The leather is not of the shiny black kind. It's more of a leather chair found in a saloon. I like how it smells on me, but I think it'll be better on the DH. ETA: Okay, there's no musk note listed...hmmm...perhaps the tonka is presenting itself to me like a musk in this blend...hmmm...

Imp: Heady florals Wet: Citrus and jasmine. Drydown: Florals! Too much of it. It's smothering. Overall: Another strike out for me with the lab's jasmine. I'm trying...
-
Imp: Lavender and men's cologne Wet: Lavender and spice. Very masculine. Drydown: Smells really old-fashioned. After a bit, it goes slightly soapy. Overall: This is a clean spicy men's scent. I think I'll try this on DH.

Raspberry Swirl whipped and Candy Phoenix go well together. Xia and Kill Switch whippeds both go well with Snake Charmer Res. Embargo and Schwarzer Mond go well together. (Lots o' patchouli)

Bottle: Fruity florals Wet: Fruity florals with something herbal and minty. The florals are not overpowering. They are blended well and I can't pick out the rose or the orange blossom. Drydown: Fruit punch with florals in the background. It's not a sweet cloying fruit punch. It's a fresh fruit spritzer with a hint of sweetness. A couple of hours later, it's all yellow peaches and honey (like in Mead Moon). Overall: This is lovely. This is not a young sweet foody scent. It's golden and sparkling.
-
Imp: Smells like a medicinal salve my family used to use when I was growing up. Wet: Medicinal Drydown: Herbal and medicinal. Overall: I had to wash this off. 'nuff said.
-
Imp: almonds Wet: Bay Rum Drydown: Bay Rum, smoky vetiver. It's slightly herbal, earthy and bitter. Overall: This is a masculine scent, but wearable on a woman. IMO It's a dark scent, but not heavy. It's got almost a clean feel to it. It must be some herbal note and the Bay Rum. Bay Rum tends to smell clean, like the way a lot of men's colognes do, on my skin. This is a date night scent, perfect for a warm summer night.
-
Imp: Sweet and sour plums Wet: Plums and spicy carnations Drydown: The plums are very purple and sweet, and the carnation is very spicy. It doesn't morph on me. It stays a plum and carnation scent. Overall: When I tried this about a year ago, I loved this one. Now, it's just okay. It's not bad, it just doesn't grab me the way it did before.
-
Wet: Very syrupy sweet. Drydown: This is dark and syrupy. Super strong and cloying. It's suffocating. There's something bitter/sour in there I don't recognize. Overall: I don't like this one. It's really strong.
-
Imp: Liquid smoke and ham. Wet: Patchouli and liquid smoke. Drydown: It takes a while for the liquid smoke to mellow on my skin. After about an hour, it's not so much smoking meats anymore. It's now an earthy mossy scent. Overall: I don't like this one. The liquid smoke stage was hard to swallow.
-
Imp: resins Wet: Strong sharp floral incense Drydown: This is a sharp, floral incense scent on my skin. Frankincense and myrrh in heavy quantities usually is. It's not horrible, but it's not something I say to myself, "oh yeah, that's what I'm talking about". lol Overall: I think I have enough blends with frankincense and myrrh to last a lifetime, so I think I'll just keep the imp and be happy with it.
-
Wet: Sharp floral perfume Drydown: The sharpness mellows, but there's an herbal soapiness that I'm not sure of. Overall: This is a strong floral perfume that I just don't care for.
