Imp: citrus & coconut Wet: musky, sweet, woody, lemongrass Drydown: This is aquatic, to me, in the sense that I smell like I'm seaside. It's not a "water" or "ozone" scent at all. It's salty, tangy, warm, and sweet. The notes really meld together the longer I wear it. Overall: This is a scent I'd wear if I was sitting home on a lazy weekend.

Imp: Yuzu Wet: Sweet & tart citrus, with a slight bitterness Drydown: Initially, this is a "dry" citrus. I like this. It's fresh and clean, a "wake-me-up" scent. After about 45 minutes, the cherry blossom comes out. Mmmm...very nice. Further, a couple of hours later, the tartness has faded and what's left on my skin is sweet persimmon and cherry blossom. Overall: I was never much of a cherry blossom fan until BPAL. I really enjoy the lab's cherry blossom / cherry tree notes. This scent will be perfect for summer.

Imp: ozone-y men's cologne Wet: Reminiscent of a clean-scented soap Drydown: Someone had previously said that it's like marine-scented bath products. I have to agree. This scent is blue-green. Initially, I didn't smell the salty kelp. After about an hour, the ozone-y note goes away and is replaced by a sea water scent. Very interesting. Overall: This would be great as a bath or room scent like others have said. But I don't see myself wearing this. It has really strong throw. I think I'll put some in my oil warmer and scent the house with it this summer.

Wet: Raw, cut florals with the stems. This is a really strong scent. Very green. Drydown: This is a raw green scent, like freshly cut greenery. Overall: This is too green for me. If you enjoy raw plant scents, this is it. Unfortunately, it isn't for me.
-
wet: Very faint powdery floral. The scent becomes a little stronger after a few minutes, and then it becomes slightly sweet. drydown: This scent is non-descript and boring. My skin chemistry does nothing for this blend.
-
wet: cocoa, shea butter, woods drydown: buttery cocoa. later, the cocoa scent begins to fade, and I finally smell leather and incense, but the buttery note won't go away. overall: Somehow, my skin is making this scent buttery, and I don't like it. I am really bummed that this didn't smell the way I'd hoped.

I feel terrible too. I've been doing the same thing on all my lab orders.

Red musk, lemon peel, sugar cane, cassia, white sandalwood, mango, and agarwood. This one sounded like it would be so good...but... Imp: fruity, flea powder wet: flea powder, medicinal. A little fruitiness peeks through. Drydown: The medicinal scent (flea powder) dies down a little, but it never completely goes away. I smell the mango and lemon peel, but it's not enough to cover up the medicinal note. After about an hour, I smell the red musk and it's really nice, but the flea powder is still there. Overall: I think that the notes just don't blend well on my skin. Individually, I like all the notes. This blend just isn't right for me.

Imp: Sweet berries and wood shavings. Huh? Wet: Sweet berries and freshly cut wood. Drydown: I just read the notes. Patchouli and apricots. Strange how, when wet, the scent smelled of berries and wood to my nose. As the scent dries, I'm smelling yellow peaches. Okay, now it's becoming more like apricots. The patchouli is dry, dusty and woody. It's a nice mix with the fruity note. I think that a little aging will blend the notes a bit more. Overall: This doesn't last very long on me and the throw is fairly light. I'll need to slather this one.

Imp: Sweet floral Wet: Sweet, dusty. I smell the sugared rum. So far, it's not turning into caramel-from-hell (as some rum notes do). I'm smelling coconuts. They are fleshy and smell dry and tart, not candied. The tobacco smells more like tobacco flower instead of the leaves. Drydown: This is a nice summer scent. I imagine sitting in the shade of a large palm tree on a hot beach. I think of vacation....ahhh.... Overall: This is a light scent on my skin and doesn't have a lot of throw. Very relaxing.
-
Imp: Caramel Wet: Caramel with lemons. Drydown: This is caramel and lemon. I with I could smell molasses. My nose and skin aren't cooperating. Further Drydown: It's becoming waxy/oily. Not good. Overall: I'm bummed that my skin ruined this blend. It sounded rich and delicious.
-
Wet: Spicey incense Drydown: Never smelled the rose or bergamot. Something in the blend goes sour on my skin. It's not sitting well with me. I don't like this. Uh-uh. No.....

Imp: Berry wine Wet: Dried berries and resin Drydown: During the initial drydown, the berries faded and a peach scent came out. After about 20 minutes, it has now done what many stone fruit/peach scents have done...become bitter! Boo. Further Drydown: The bitterness has faded and now it smells like sweet peaches with the tart skin. It is delicious! I can smell the patchouli and amber making the scent dark and not foody. This is fabulous on the drydown. Overall: This scent changes shape a few times. Ultimately, it's a gorgeous, fruity, thick and dark scent. The scent stays fairly close to my skin, but lasts over 4 hours.
-
Imp: Wood polish Wet: Pine, candy. There is a sweet pink berry scent in there. Mmmmm.... Drydown: This is a sweet pine. I'm starting to get a green, "leafy" note. Must be the tomato leaf. It's a very pleasant note. The pine note is really amping to the point of obliterating all the other lovely notes. Overall: This mellows after about 45 minutes. It has a lot of throw and demands to be smelled. It took about 3 hours to begin to fade on my skin. I like it well enough, but I already have enough pine scents that I like, so I probably won't be reaching for this much. This is a cold/cooler weather scent.

Imp: Sweet, earthy, sticky Wet: Medicinal and earthy. Very antiseptic on my skin. I'm not getting grapes at all. Somehow, this combo of scents is not playing nicely on my skin. It's beginning to smell like PVC. Huh? Vinyl-blow-up innertubes at the local pool? Drydown: PVC and sticky resin. Overall: I know I like the notes, they just didn't blend well on my skin. It smells horrible on me.

Wet: Sweet floral and cotton candy. There is a slight hint of musk. This is a very girly and fun scent. Drydown: After a while, the fun part goes away and becomes a straight up floral. I don't smell the sweetness or musk at all. Overall: What a disappointment. When wet, it smelled so good! Unfortunately, my skin devoured the yummy stuff and left a boring bunch of flowers behind. Boo skin!
-
Imp: Yellow floral Wet: Sharp yellow florals with some greenery. After a few minutes, it turned sour. Drydown: The scent mellowed out, and became a scent of soft flowers and green stems. Later, an aquatic note came out. Overall: I can see why floral scent lovers would appreciate this one, but it's not for me.
-
Wet: spicy, clove, Old Spice (but in a good way) *ducks* Drydown: Spicy musk. I never got any rose, which is fine because rose is hit or miss for me. Overall: For a "rose" scent, this is on the masculine side. It's really an amazing scent. I'm sure a lot of people missed out on this because the rose scared them away. On me, it's a spicy, earthy, musky scent. Not floral at all.

I didn't get "dark" or "chilly". When wet, it smelled of household cleaners. Sort of an artificial citrus. On the drydown, it became soapy and waxy. Not good.

... This perfume is a traditional Roman Catholic sacramental incense, most often used during a Solemn Mass. Traditionally, five tears of this incense, each encased individually in wax that has been fashioned into the shape of a nail, are inserted into the paschal candle. This is, of course, represents the Five Wounds of Our Risen Savior. Symbolically, the burning of the incense signifies spiritual fervor, the fragrance itself inspires virtue, and the rising smoke carries our prayers to God. Midnight Mass 08: This smells almost exactly like Penitence to me. It has the addition of a wood scent (maybe cedar). It's okay. But I probably won't be reaching for it.

Wet: Sweet chemicals. Drydown: This is cloying and sickeningly sweet. From the reviews, I was really excited about trying this, but unfortunately, my nose and skin aren't working with this one.
-
Wet: Smells sweet and tart. This is starting out a fruity scent, not a floral scent. I am not smelling any florals yet. Drydown: I'm beginning to smell something green. Somrthing about this reminds me of Obatala. Maybe it's the coconut meat. Overall: This is really good. At the end, a tiny bit of floral popped up, but it's mostly a sweet coconut scent on my skin.
-
Imp: fruity Wet: This is very sweet when first applied, but morphed quickly into a heady floral. It is sooo strong. It's starting to smell like really strong room spray. Drydown: I can faintly smell a grape-like scent. Overall: This is too cloying and artificial smelling. I like it in the imp, but it is horrible on my skin.
-
Wet: Fresh peaches, this smells soooo delicious! Drydown: Unfortunately, this goes bitter on me. The scent gets "warmer" and the tuberose appears. I can smell the carnation hanging in the background. I never smell any of the other notes. Overall: I would really like this if it didn't go bitter. Stone fruits are hit or miss for me. I love tuberose and carnation, so this is a floral I like. Boo to the bitter! Stupid skin!

Imp: Yum, sweet fruit Wet: Sweet/sour fruit. Like sour cherries. Could be the blackberry. Something is medicinal in the background...could be orange blossom as sometimes it can be super bitter on me. Drydown: Stays sour. The sweetness is gone. This is smelling very artificial and not nice. Bummer. The notes sounded so good...
