    Signum Crucis

In the imp I get a dusty, yet bright rosy scent. The rosehip has a rose quality but brighter and a bit more vegetal. There's a soft smokiness underneath from the leather and soft dustiness that I think is the mushroom. On my skin it similar, a bit muskier and warmer as the ambrette comes out. The mushroom gets less of a dried dusty quality and a more pronounced earthiness. It's such a gorgeous scent. Faded blooms and worn leather. Makes me think of a long forgotten study.

    Mousetrap Nougat Bar

In the imp I get a gorgeous creamy almond nougat. On my skin it's pretty much the same but with coconut added in as well. Really delicious and enticing!

    To A Dead Friend

In the imp I get a twinkling green floral with a breath of plum and perfumey amber. On my skin it gets less twinkly and green and I can pick out rose specifically. As it dries it gets more cool-toned again (I assume the indigo musk) even as the rose starts to really take center stage. The plum gets lost on my skin unfortunately. It's clean and cool and makes me think of crisp night air after a rain.

    Sugar Cookie Snow White

I get a delicious lightly buttery cookie dusted with a hefty amount of sugar with an even amount of Snow White mixed in. They meld together really well

    Mystery Powder Fizzy Candy

I get a tart fizzy lime with a sweet cola undertone. Gets sweeter as it dries, with a candy powderiness.

    Mermaid

In the bottle this is a gorgeous humid white floral with a good dose of sea salt. Fresh and beachy. On my skin it's crisper, brighter. The orange blossom and gardenia are the first things I get. It's softer and sweeter than it had been in the bottle, I think the lotus is giving sweetness with the vanilla and benzoin but I can't pick it out specifically. The salt is much gentler than it had been in the bottle. This is a such a pretty, playful tropical scent!

    Halfling

In the imp I get a buttery pastry with nuts. On my skin it gets less buttery, and the nuts smell distinctly like almond, and I get a bit of sugary icing. As it dries it gets a bit less sweet, a little more oaty, and lightly spiced. I want to say nutmeg? A really comforting and homey gourmand.

    Event Horizon

Beautiful opium and orchid incense. Dark, but wispy and mysterious.

If your top 5 scents are... Then try these!

@ComicCreep for minty recs you might want to give Alisz a try! It's a really gorgeous vanilla mint. Also Lick It will likely be back in the Yules!

    Lizardfolk Park Ranger

In the imp this is not quite like any forest scent I've tried. It has a greenness but I think the stone is taking this out of familiar territory for me. It's very dark, like deep, deep in an old forest. I do get a eucalyptus edge to it. On my skin it lightens up a bit. I get pine, and the golden green I associate with birch and mosses. I still get a dark stone underneath the greens, and just a touch of warm, sweet amber and hazelnut. As it dries further I get some oak, and the amber disappears completely. Definitely a dark and stony forest on me, watch your footing!

    Bugbear Doula

The combination of crisp white tea and warm musk is so interesting and comforting. It's light but has a good amount of throw. As it dries it gets warmer and muskier, with some herbal chamomile coming out.

    Brusque Violet

In the imp I get a bright violet. On my skin this immediately turns to a soft violet powder. Orris and violet tend to go musty on my skin, but surprisingly they are not here. But within about 15 minutes this fades to a whisper of violet powder.

    Kobold Barista

Yum! In the bottle I get a low, roasty coffee with spices and a hint of syrupy sweetness. On my skin the coffee blooms a bit as well as the spices. I can pick out ginger, cardamom, and cinnamon specifically but I think they are all working their magic. On my skin the spices are definitely sweetened and made a little softer by the cream as well, not a dry/hot spice scent. It's not cloying by any means, just a pleasantly sweet coffee.

    Pumpkinville

In the bottle I just get a dark, smooth pumpkin. No spices really, maybe just a whisper of musk. On my skin the red blooms. It's deep red musk, not very sugared or fruity. Velvety and the pumpkin adds a richness. Struggling to pick out spices but I think there's something woody underneath, I agree there might be some oud.

Chibi Skull With Last Will and Testament

In the bottle I get a soft creamy vanilla and a really smooth patch, with a touch of syrupy sweetness. The combo of the creamy vanilla and patch comes across as almost suede-y. On my skin it has a similarly warm, plush vibe. This one doesn't morph much on me, but the patch does deepen a bit and get a little earthier as it wears.

    Traditional Sheet Ghost

Gorgeous poofy vanilla. Initially I get a lot of the frankincense, it is light and very citrus-bright. There's a cleanness but I wouldn't classify it as a Laundry Smell (in comparison to say, my beloved Boober). As it wears the vanilla gets warmer and even poofier. Marshmallowy but not in a gourmand way like Stekk. There's enough of that clean cotton (very gauzy in the dry stage) and the frankincense to set this apart from my other poofy vanilla scents and justify its place in my collection.

    Drider Crossing Guard

This is such a beautiful, juicy plum and fig combo. The tea comes out as it dries and gives some depth. There's a cleanness to the scent, a bit of brightness. And the spices don't stand out for me, but are detectable if I sniff deeply. A really gorgeous, inky sort of scent.

    Tiefling Therapist

In the imp: fiery red incense. On my skin it's just glowing, bright and a a little sweet. I want to say I get DBR, there's a sweet red note I can't place. It gets more incensy again as it dries. Smoky but not harsh.

    Urban Undine

In the bottle this reminded me a lot of Waiting, but without the asphalt note. Lavender and rain. On my skin it gets saltier (but not like SALTY) it's definitely more salty sea air than murky bottom of the ocean. The ambergris I think helps give a slightly warmer, airier quality with just a hint of sweetness. Gorgeous and fresh, I adore these aquatic lavenders.

    Mouth So Sweet, So Poisonous

Gorgeous plummy opium incense. I agree there's something almost like rose, like the throatiness of a really deep velvety rose. I also agree with the spooky Lady Una vibes, the honey has that musky quality, but it's not as sweet and honey-forward as that scent is on me. This is really about those delicious dark fruits and opium. So sultry!

    Moroccan Pumpkin

Gorgeous lightly spiced pumpkin in the bottle. Smooth, warm this is probably the best pumpkin scent I've tried yet. Morocco is definitely the heart of this scent, but the pumpkin really transforms it into something autumnal. Once settled the pumpkin blends nicely into the vanilla and musk, still detectable but more in balance with the scent as a whole. Beautiful!

    Berzerker

@zankoku_zen summed it up well with forest musk. Cool green with warm, musky leather. The juniper and poplar are more prominent than the leather, then it swaps on my skin. I get a slight metallic tang underneath, but it's quite pleasant. Really great forest scent!

All While Dreaming, Shakes Her Head

In the bottle I get a beautiful fruity, velvety red rose with just a teensy hint of the patchouli. On my skin they are much more in balance. A beautiful woody (but not super-gnarly) patch base with velvety red rose. It is hard for me to pick the currant apart from the rose, it smells like one of those red roses that has a juicy, fruity sort of facet. Elegant, with a darkness.

    Still Life With Dooting Skull

Yeah this smells more like sasparilla than licorice to me. Which is fine! Licorice/anise tends to turn my stomach for some reason, and this was gamble. I am pleased. In the bottle and on my skin it is a super-dry spiced (must be the nutmeg) rootbeer. Like something you'd get in a fancy, hisptery cocktail bar. Not that it's boozy, just not sweet enough to be like soda. On my skin it gets a wee bit sweeter and more creamy though I'm having a hard time picking out coconut. It's a really delicious scent, much cozier than I had anticipated. ETA: after resting a little over two weeks, the licorice note is a little less sasparilla and more licorice. To me it smells like a mix of the two, and I still really like it!
  25. In the bottle I get a gentle, creamy jasmine that quickly transforms into a cool green scent, with a soft incense blurring it all together. On wet the greenness is the first thing I get and I can sort of pull the eucalyptus from the cypress, but they meld really well. This isn't sharp, camphor-y straight eucalyptus EO. It's soft and cool. As it dries the greenness fades back into a soft halo around the scent. Nothing really sticks out as the star of the show when dry, it's all very well blended. The paper, incense, and florals are all present but are in harmony. It's a soft floral incense with the flutter of old pages (not a cucumber-y paper note but a flash of soft sort of woodiness) with just a breath of that cool greenness. A really gorgeous, enchanting scent.
