    The Witches

Delicious honeyed vanilla cream, with the pumpkin coming out a bit more as it wears.

    PSL: Pumpkin Snake Latte

Snake Oil forward, with a good dose of cinnamon and clove. A creamy coffee trailing in. Delicious

    Mercurio Transita Davanti Al Sole

Yuzu cuts through first, followed by sweeter orange notes, with a lanquid lavender underneath. As it dries I get a note I assume is the musk, clean and bracing. This feels bold and brave Vs a happy bubbly scent I usually find in citrus.

Hungry Ghost Moon: Honey and Summer Herbs Hair Gloss

Oh summery wildflower meadow indeed! Not super floral, but a beautiful fresh green herbal with maybe like a clover honey overtop. Regret not getting a bottle of this one. Really great throw.

    Snakes in the Coffee Beans

The coffee note reminds me a lot of Woman Putting On Her Stocking. Roasty and rich, sweetened by the Snake Oil. Perfection!
  6. Syrupy blackberry and the classic BPAL fizz in the bottle. On the skin the blackberry is more less sweet, more earthy and natural back by a softer fizz. The tuberose is a beautiful heady halo, and I agree with the above that this feels like a witchy incense. Smells like an elegant witch's cottage in autumn.

    The Grindhouse

Wet this is All Iris and it threatens to go musty-sweet on me as it is prone to do. Dry it softens a bit, less sweet but still the most forward note. Just a bit of fruity red musk pokes out underneath.

    Apollo’s Chariot

In the imp this was incredibly muted to my nose, myrrh and amber smothering the neroli. Wet the neroli leaps out, but quickly settles in again. The mallow is very prominent. Golden and smudgy, a haze of sunrise kind of scent.

Blood Moon: Pomegranate and Labdanum Hair Gloss

A pretty and pair-able pomegranate scent! The labdanum embellishes the pomegranate with a warm resinous haze. Deep and slightly cola-like but not full on fizziness.

    Cottonmouth

In the imp the florals feel a bit jumbled, bright and clean but hard to pull them apart. On my skin it is much more orderly, Snake Oil made squeaky clean and breezy. The linden blossom is first and foremost for me, followed by passionflower, and maybe just a tiny bit of waxy greenness of lily.

Hungry Ghost Moon: Tomato Leaf and Red Pepper

Beautiful fresh green yet earthy tomato leaf with just a hint of brightness from the pepper. Very pretty garden scent

    Hungry Ghost Moon 2025

Yeah that's a funky little guy! The wet stage is very confusing to my nose. Juicy green notes trailed by tomato, with warm beeswax and sourdough clamouring for the spotlight. Settled on my skin it's like the memory of pizza in the air while a herbal green candle is burning.

Blood Moon: Pomegranate and Animalic Musk

Smooth sweet pomegranate, dark and inky with a warm and slightly spicy musk. It feels like a softer cousin of whatever makes up the fur in Bear Prince.

    On Good and Evil

Thick, perfumey beeswax in the imp. A fig encased in wax. On my skin it is less fruity, the beeswax a bit mellower. I get some thick, chewy myrrh and a wisp of smoke.

    Pumpkin Tanning Oil

My nose is confused by this in the imp. Getting a sort of high-pitched fruitiness, but I get that from certain coconut notes sometimes. On my skin it is a creamy, fresh pumpkin scent. The pumpkin is very fresh and vegetal. I get an underlying creaminess but struggle to pull the specifics of cocoa butter and coconut.

    October 34th

Initially a lot of cinnamon, sugar cookie, and a waxy note I can't place. Could be pumpkin doing something weird or maybe whatever is making up the ribbon candy? The waxy note fades back pretty quickly and this settles out to a very cinnamon-ed pumpkin cookie scent. I do detect a hint of the anise others are picking up, normally a dealbreaker for me but is blending in and playing nicely here.

    Statue of Freedom

Rugged, dry and green. Getting lots of myrrh and a dry not-at-all-sweet amber topped with herbaceous green notes. A really nice woodsy scent that also feels cleaned up. Well-groomed lumberjack.

Hungry Ghost Moon: Pineapple and Red Hot Honey

Juicy pineapple topped with a thick, sweet honey and some red pepper heat! On my skin the honey overtakes the pineapple a bit, but a very fun and fruity scent.

    Coucher de Soleil, Ciel Orange

All neroli, ambergris, and myrrh in the imp. Hazy incensey neroli. Slightly bitter. On the skin I get sweet lemon and apricot with a sweet muskiness. It doesn't strike me as distinctly raspberry at first, not super juicy or jammy like it tends to be on me. Myrrh and ambergris underneath for body with neroli floating overtop.

    Jamaican Bellflower

This is gorgeous! In the imp a humid green floral with a touch of chocolate. Like Vanilla Orchid SN but instead of a vanilla facet, chocolate. Wet the chocolate is very prominent but as it dries down it fades back and melds back in with the floral notes. Dry there is a heady sap note, not into jasmine territory or anything. Just adding to that waxy, humid tropical floral vibe. Bottle worthy for me for sure.

    Landscape with Stars

In the imp I get mostly sugared lemon and heliotrope. Very sugary to my nose, like lemon drop candies, no trace of citrus tartness. On my skin it gets more complex. The lavender peeks out first, and then the jasmine. As it dries the ozone comes forward and really transforms the scent. Chilly ozonic florals with a hint of lemony sweetness underneath.

Blood Moon: Patchouli and Smoked Vanilla Lotion

This starts of sweet, and to my nose more floral than fruity I can see where people are coming from. As it settles it is a sweet airy vanilla, reminding me a touch of certain buttercream scents. I don't get patchouli but something like a light sandalwood underneath. It makes me think of skin musk. A good goes-with-anything type scent. A bit more throw than the other lotion I've tried (White Apple & Ylang Ylang) but not aggressive

    Vial of Holy Water

Crisp and mineral first on, slowly morphs into a damp green floral. Rosewater, maybe hyacinth? Softly sparkling.

    Nyx

Murky jasmine. Heady, but dark and creamy. A hint of greenness. Incensey. I get a little bit of rose as it dries, I think white rose.

Lightning Moon: Ylang Ylang and White Apple Lotion

Ylang ylang is a note I always have difficulty describing, and even here paired with one other note I am still struggling. I feel like it isn't standing out all that much, but embellishing the apple with a heady, creamy sweetness. The apple is soft and sort of musky. Not very tart, nor very sweet. Very pretty! The throw is pretty low after it settles and I think on it's own it would be safe for office wear, and would compliment but not compete with perfume. I do notice hints of the scent a several hours on, close to the skin. Regarding the lotion itself and the packaging: the lotion is thick but melts into the skin easily and absorbs quickly. The pump works fine but I do wonder if a tub would be better, especially as it empties.
