    Vasilissa

She herself had cheeks like blood and milk and grew every day more and more beautiful: creamy skin musk and blushing pink musk with soft sandalwood, white amber, dutiful myrrh, and star jasmine. Absolutely gorgeous. Soft creamy and musky, with a light-handed soft sweet jasmine. A gorgeous softness from the sandalwood and the amber and myrrh create a warm sweet base without weighing it down. Will need a bottle!
  2. [No additional description given.] This has to be my favorite dead leaves scent ever. I'm having a hard time describing how all of these notes sum up. The leaves themselves are not super strong, but they are dry and crisp. I can't pick out the individual notes beyond a little black tea and sandalwood. This scent has layers for sure. It's lightly sweet and earthy, but not dirty. I think this will pair well with scents like Reapers Gonna Reap and Morocco.

    Morocco

Well I've been wearing this scent for I don't know, seven or eight years now, so maybe I should review it? As much as I swoon over other scents that come into my life, Morocco is my soulmate. It's comforting and familiar but still always excites me. In the bottle: a low vanilla-sandalwood, toasty and slightly musky. Wet: Spicy carnation, musk, and spices (cardamom? cassia too, but just a little) and sandalwood. Dry: Creamy vanilla base (which gets super apparent with 4-5 years of aging), and a beautiful cloud of carnation, sandalwood, and musk. The spices give it a hot arid scent. I swear to god it smells like a breeze coming off a baking dune.

    Vagina Treasure Hair Gloss

When I first spray it I get light white tea and ginger blossom first, light and tropical with just a touch of heat from the ginger blossom. As it settles I get more spicy carnation which becomes the heart of the fragrance to me. The honey and amber add a warm, golden body. I agree with LizzieLuck, this is very versatile for spring/summer. I get a beachy vibe from it, but not strictly so.

    The Virgin and the Unicorn

In the bottle: soft dry sandalwood Wet: mossy, but not damp. Sandalwood and incense make things drier, a little bit of white rose creeps in. Dry: This ends up as a mossy incense on me.Dry, earthy, and soft. A little vanilla hovers about. It's a beautiful scent for sure, but not my cup!

    The Lion

This is a bright, sweet amber with a touch of spice on me. Simple, but delightful!

Consoling Pussy of Horse Face Mountain

In the imp: Tuberose with a touch of smoky incense. Wet: Pretty much the same, though the tuberose chills out a little and it gets mossier. Dry: This gets moss heavy for me. Earthy and damp, with the tuberose incense making it even more tropical jungle humid and a little smoky. Interesting but too mossy for me!

    Cave of Treasures

In the imp: this reminds me a little of Blossoming Vulva, but with lilac not lotus. Though creamy, not slippery. Wet: LILAC Dry: spicy amber with honey. A little creamy with just a hint of lilac left. I like it, but I don't need a bottle. Too bad the lilac burns off in the wet stage.

    Pink Moon 2017

This is just a nice medley of pink flowers, though the one I get the most of and can best identify is carnation. It has a spun-sugar quality that reminds me of High Strung Daisies, but more complex. I definitely get the vanilla as it dries down, but no strawberry. A very lovely pink blend!

    Vanilla Orchid

A fresh, clean floral-vanilla. Just the tiniest bit of sweetness at the base. Very airy and cool.

    Improvisation

Starts off with crisp white tea, and it reminds me a lot of Kumiho as well but minus the zingy ginger. It smells a little sweeter too, I think from the honey. As it dries I get some light fig and a beautiful osmanthus around the white tea. A refreshing fruity-floral tea blend.

Kitten with Shamisen Daydreams of a Phallus Palanquin

In the imp: Very strong pear, it kind of smells like banana candy? Wet: rice milk and very ripe banana. Why? Dry: soft white musk and creamy rice milk with light, fresh pear. This dries down nicely but the wet stage has been so weird. But it is a nice soft spring scent. It doesn't go too foody or clean.

    Effronterie

In the imp: juicy pomegranate. I mean JUICY. Wet: juicy pomegranate and clean white blooms. I can't quite put my finger on what they are, they are not heady so it's not tuberose or jasmine or anything like that. Dry: Sweet and clean. I agree with the clean white towels association. This is my favorite white musk blend that I've smelled, it's so smooth. The pomegranate adds a nice touch, just a little splash of fruitiness. This reminds me intensely of a perfume I smelled as a child, but I can't remember for the life of me what the name is.

    Entertaining the Heian Court Maiden

In the bottle: polished wood and honey Wet: smooth wood, honey, and vanilla Dry: Dry, almost spicy wood and dry vanilla. A little bit of honey floating around. This is beautiful, but it is so soft on me. If had more throw I'd be in love.

    Flickering Lantern

A nice creamy, beeswax and light purple incense. The rose almost candied, but it's not an overly sweet scent. I agree with the grape candy feelings that LizzieLuck experienced, it's like the faintest hint of grape candy powder. If it was rosier I'd be all over this, but it was interesting! Purple rose is definitely something I'd like to explore further.

    Importune Me No More

In the imp: jasmine but darkened a bit by patchouli. While it doesn't share a ton of notes I thought this might be similar to The Head. Wet: red rose with a little headiness. Dry: Rose, patchouli, and amber the forefront, with some jasmine floating around. It's a gorgeous dark floral, and much different from The Head. The rose is more prominent than I expected, as well as the patchouli. This is very dark and regal to me, a queen with a naughty secret.

La Prostitution et la Folie Dominent le Monde

I have not much to say that already has not been said, this is a beautiful creamy, sugared jasmine with just a touch of anise that I'm actually digging here. It smells a lot like my beloved Selbstverliebt bath oil from the Post. I will need four thousand bottles.

    Alternative Facts

I was interested in this, but scared away by the cherry. Luckily I got it in a swap! I get hardly any cherry. I only really smelled it in the second test, for a fleeting moment which is fine by me. Basically this is a foggy lemon sugar on me. The fog is nice, it's not super aquatic or chilly or anything. Just this pretty, blurry note. I wish I could describe it better than that! Underneath is a pale, sugared lemon. It's overall very soft and obscured, which is not what I was expecting from the description. I like it, but I'm not sure I love it.

    Mania

Was hoping for a musky grapefruit, but I got strawberry bubblegum. Not for me!

Old Demons of the First Class

Dark, smoky, and spicy. I'm loving the Siberian musk, it's so dark and fuzzy. I think this would be better suited on my guy however.

    Oblivion

Salvation found in darkness beyond darkness, the blessed sleep of nothingness. Dark musk, wood spice, labdanum, patchouli, dark African woods, and saffron. Started off as a beautiful warm, musky, and spiced patchouli. It was very comforting. But as it settles on my skin, the spices do something that I just don't like. I'm having a hard time describing it, it's not bad but I just don't like it at all. If it had stayed in the wet stage forever it would have been a winner.

    Wicked

In the imp: this just straight up smells like classic BPAL. Heady and dark. Wet: the rose and jasmine come out, it's such a beautiful combination. The dark smoky myrrh comes out as well. Dry: it was so heady and beautiful and then it disappeared. Now I just have the faintest hint of rose left.

    Blood Pearl

In the imp: musky and a little spicy. Wet: this smells like dragon's blood. Like lightly cherry-toned, and almost too sweet. The orris is probably not helping, it always goes weirdly sweet on me. Dry: Oddly I kind of like it. The blood musk gets spicier, and though its's still cherry-esque I don't mind. The orris is smooth and powdery in a pleasant way surprisingly. I didn't think I was going to like this at all given the orris. I get just a little creamy coconut underneath. It doesn't feel in-your-face tropical to me, but I could see wearing it to the beach!

    Greed

A very sexy refined patchouli. It's soft and sensual, enticing and seemingly innocent. Perfect for a sin. There's a light woodsy element, lifted by the heliotrope. I'm loving the refined element the oakmoss is adding.

    Tweedledum

Green tea bubblegum. In the imp I get green, fruity patchouli. But on, it turns to green tea and bubblegum...
