In the bottle this reminds me of a grownup Bounce- neroli up front backed vanilla and florals. Softer and less sweet though, powder pink instead of bubblegum. On the skin it is very much a different scent. The jasmine and rose sidle right up alongside the neroli, and the incense and labdanum come out, giving a rich resiny base to the scent. The scent takes awhile to settle out, each time I go back for a sniff I feel a different component stands out a bit more. In the end I would say it's resin/incense forward followed by rose, jasmine and neroli with the vanilla blurring the edges on my skin. It's a beautiful and slightly nostalgic blend, and for having such bold florals the overall effect is quite soft and muted.

So lovely! Hard to describe as it is so well blended on the skin, not one note jumps out in particular. In the bottle I would say it's a sweet lavender and opium scent, but I definitely get the plum on the skin. It's floral-fruity-incensey all at once. Lightly sweet, but with the Incense depth, too. An instant fave for me!

Fear of Relatives and Relations God damn it, Uncle Steve. Nobody cares what Hannity has to say about anything. Buckets of red wine, a splash of aftershave, and copious amounts of blossoming gin. Oh my goodness this is gorgeous. I originally got the decant for my guy because he loves gin and I thought this was going to be a lot darker. However it is bright and sparkling and a bit on the sweet side. The wine is lighter than I expected and I expects gives the blend its sweetness, and it is not profoundly grape-y either. The gin and aftershave combine to give a clean but not too strong bite of juniper. Classic, sophisticated and very fun. It makes me think of a glittering party of the 1920s.

In the imp I initially get soft aquatic notes, but they are quickly followed by the warmer, more rugged ones. On my skin it is a balance, a rugged beachy scent. Clean, fresh air and slightly salty water with leather and patchouli to roughen things up. I have to search for the rum but it lends a bit of sweetness, and I think I get just a hint of sarsaparilla melding in with it.

I get mostly patchouli, oudh, and opium. This is dark, swirling and sort of incense-y. It smells thick and sort of syrupy but not sweet. I get just hints of red musk and pomegranate, which initially gave me the impression of opponax with the other notes.

I get mostly red sandalwood and bit of red wine from this. Soft and slightly fruity. I think the currants and red wine give it a soft red musk vibe as well. Very well blended and softly sweet.

Oh this is lovely! Musky and very lightly leafy, with a soft beautiful leather underneath.

get a gorgeous amber in the imp but it's overwhelmingly clove on my skin. It eventually fades back but so does the amber unfortunately.
-
Soft and sweet rosy-vanilla incense. Really feminine feeling, makes me think of a vintage powder room without smelling powdery.

This is incredibly well blended on me. Dark slinky musk and resins, almost chewy. Just a touch of orange over the top.
-
Very bright almond, the kind that pushes cherry makes this more fruity than nutty on me. Figgy-cherry with just a hint of rich amber underneath.

Sweet marshmallowy plum in the imp, and wet the opium and oppononax darken and ground the scent a bit. It's dark and swirling with a hint of sweetness. The marshmallow makes this stand out from other opium and plum scents I have. Luckily for me the violet does not make an appearance, was thinking this was not going to work on me!

All I get in the imp is wool and oakmoss. It makes me think of walking through a rain-soaked forest. Green and damp and a bit clean the way oakmoss sometimes comes across. Not soapy, but just that freshness after a rain. On my skin the wool comes out more, the scent becomes less outdoorsy and more cozy. The brandy is subtle but gives a grounding sweetness.

I get spicy rye and lots of dry golden hay. A bit of sweetness (but a sort of earthy sweetness, like barley syrup. Perhaps the corn?) I get zero soil on my skin, and just a breath of herbal chamomile as it dries down. Beautifully atmospheric and very autumnal.

Cocoa-dusted wood in the bottle but gets richer and more chocolate-y on the skin. Spice, wood, and tobacco back up the cacao. The pine peeks through as it wears. It is a bit rugged and a bit foody at the same time.

I agree with Grim there's sort of a humid element to the blend, but also I get a coldness at the same time? Light ethereal florals and vanilla, and sheer amber. The rose is soft and and I can pick out the almond blossom. It's sweet and almost candy-like (candy floss is a great description), it is very airy.

To me Drider Crossing Guard has a similar dark, eerie fruit vibe to Mouth So Sweet, and I think it would be even closer layered with Event Horizon for the opium. I think The Witch Queen also might have some appeal, it has that murky purple incense plum thing going on!

In the bottle all I get is fresh, snappy leather. The kind that tends to go headache-y on me. I applied with not very high hopes. At first I get mostly SO with the vanilla amped up, and while I can't pick out the leather it's giving me that twinge of headache. As I let it sit the leather comes out and smooths out a bit but unfortunately the headache wins out. I might sit on it for a bit longer but I think this might be skin chem fail.

This has a bougie autumn candle feeling. Gorgeous fig upfront backed up by amber and tobacco. It is slightly spicy/woody, and I can't tell if there is a hint of dried leaves or if it is just the tobacco giving that sort of effect. It's warming and very autumnal, and somehow very elegant while also being homey.

Such a soft, calming scent. The labdanum has a thick, resiny sweetness. I can barely pull out the sandalwood, I think the patch is melding in with the labdanum. Over the top I get the lavender and touch of the vanilla/benzoin. Warm, cozy, and incredibly comforting.

In the bottle I get rich cocoa, a light mint, and a bit of the 'plastic' note; musky and hard for me to describe. It's sort of in the zone of the chalky rubble situation in Ice Age Baton, but much softer. On my skin it's more minty, and I get the amber underneath. The musky-amber situation keeps this at a medium foodiness compared to like Dragon Slide which is full on mint-chip foody.
-
Rich buttery goat's milk topped with fluffy vanilla marshmallow and cashmere. I get just a touch of white chocolate that enhances the creaminess.
