This is what I hoped jolly roger to smell like! A lot less wood in this, more salty and wet! Sexy sexy leather that BPAL does so well. Awesome! However, it is a LOT like Caliban on my skin minus the tropical flowers and nature-y sense, so I honestly won't need more of this. It also fades much faster on me. But if you're into that sorta thing, this'll be the one for you!

This... This is what sweet nostalgia smells like. There's the ghostliness in it that the manuscript has, but toned down and it's like a warm embrace. Vanilla, tea, dust. Warm and chilly at the same time? I'm thinking the white rose gives this a ghostly/chilly white veil. I can imagine her smelling this way, as she so sweetly warns her child (...Was I the only one that "awwed" in cinema?). Just a lovely, dusty old vanilla on me, yet smooth. Like what's been stated before; like a great antique, or a colder, mature Edith. It's very subtle on me and most of the notes fade after about 1,5hour of wearing besides the vanilla, which is a damn shame, but I'm gonna hold on to this for sure cause it's absolutely lovely.

Ooohhh, lovely lovely sweet pink & orange flowery and sugary goodness!! The only things that start to amp when applied to my skin is the coconut and cassis. I'm not too crazy about coconut which is the only reason why I won't need a bottle of this; otherwise it's just a wonderful sweet exotic scent!

I'm getting very strong champaca in this from the imp. Once on my skin, the orange blossom rises up but stays very casually there, along with the still strong champaca and sandalwood in the background. To me this is just very dusty and slightly bitter. In my head it's like what a ray of sunlight going through a dusty 70's attic it would smell like. ....Hm.
-
In the imp it smells like honeyed ginger, and other green herbs thrown in there. Bitter too, as if there's vetiver in there. On my skin it goes to a slightly more woodsy-scent but the sharp scents fade almost instantly. A buttery herby soft scent, walking through ...barren woods in summer, if that makes any sense. Very very faint on me, such a shame! I have to go really close on it to smell anything. :c

In the imp it's incredibly herbal and green, oof. There's also that heady mystical smokyness from the myrrh and frankinsence. The opoponax adds that lovely darkness to it. It barely changes on my skin, and while I like it to a certain degree, I don't want to smell like this myself.

Once I put this on my skin it's a real life cntrl-alt delete moment. Maybe just a hint of amber left. Not even two minutes have passed..... what?????

It's like a warm spring day! Floral note in the background, bamboo and apple in the foreground. Very fresh, greenery-sweet. Barely a throw on me, unfortunately! :c

I'm getting the snow note from bpal that I don't like? Like the one in winter-time. But I'm not a huge fan of orris either so that's a shame. The vanilla in there is like a lovely veil around the harsher notes. Dry, sweet, cold. Allyear-round type 'a scent.
-
Reminds me a bit of Dead leaves, bourbon vanilla, and myrrh, but less outside-y. Perhaps slightly less crisp. There's something sweet in here, pulling all of the notes together. I won't need this, but it's a lovely blend!
-
I haven't smelled any of the other luna negra versions, but this smells... dusty to me? Maybe like an ancient cave, if that makes any sense. The lavendar is the strongest on me, and it's quite sharp, but still fruity. It's quite interesting!

Blehg, almond. I'm not looking forward to this but here goes; I LOVE the rum notes bpal uses, and it's no different in here. Really makes me want to grab a drink right now. The almond stays very much in the foreground, but I don't mind it too much, strangely. It's a quite sexy blend! All of the notes are easy to pick out, but work together really well. Feminine, and sugary sweet. Not for me, but I see why it's so loved.

From the imp I'm getting a very smokestack (when wet) vibe from this. Very heavy. There's something sweet in it that I can't put my finger on it, and something ever so slightly salty (vetiver?). Maybe just a tad of wood in here? Certainly interesting, and atmospheric, but I don't want to smell for this. Might be great for someone who loves smoke-y things though. n_n

Per-fect. Exactly what I expected too. I can imagine myself sitting on the grass of a high cliff, looking out to the sea. A damp woodsy-floral with sea air. Sweet, sweet, heady and soft florals. Reminds me a lot of some potpourri I had ages ago, which I LOVED. Never found something that resembled it and finally, here it is! Doesn't stay too long on my skin... about an hour or two? However my skin amps the florals ever so slightly in this, which rarely happens and it works sooo well. So glad I could find a bottle of this!

Mmmmm... yum. I just wanna drink all of these while chilling out on a beach they're all so good! Someone mentioned before this is like red blue fire which made me want to try this.. and YES!!! It really quite is. It's brilliant! sweet red berries with a lot of fuzzy gin thrown in, but I barely detect the mint. Great blend. If I ever find a bottle somewhere I might just jump at the chance.

Ah, there's the labs' snowy soap note! Correct me if I'm wrong but it feels like the same that's in the snow at midnight and a couple of others. Don't let the words 'soap note' scare you if you're unfamiliar with the snow note, but don't like soap notes. It's a flurry, almost slightly sugary sweet cold note, and while it more reminds me The sweeter notes come out only a little while after application. Lovely but nothing too special on my skin.
-
I'm guessing these are herbal flowers and some white notes thrown in there? This goes slightly powdery with a still-realistic sweet floral edge on it on me.I like it but unfortunately I don't love it. White florals just don't seem to like my skin (it depends though, *slaps skin* hmpf). It's very very cute though!

A sweet scent drifts in the cold night air in the forest. From the imp, anyway. On my skin, it morphs to a thicker amber, and a warmer, red tone with dark fruits. Soft and cozy! Sliiiiightly reminds me of in winter in my room. Only slightly.

It smells like taking a soapy bath in the sea, basically. I love it, LOVE it on first application, but after a few minutes it turns all handsoap on me. Damn.

Wow this is sweet!!! I'm getting a slight apricot vibe from this, but it's likely just the hyper-sugary sweetness this is from the start; that taste you get when you take a bite from an apricot after not having one for years. It's a very natural fruity sugar/sweet. That said, like other people has said, all of the fruityness certainly does remind me of skittles. The hyperness of the sugar on drydown dims very quickly, in fact all of it dims down in about half an hour which is a shame. Such a bright, fun scent!

This smells like a sunset colouring a a dusty victorian room golden, or perhaps a very 70's themed one. It's dry, dusty and insency and super-fancy! Doesn't morph on my skin. I'd totally need a bottle but it dies after only five to ten minutes of wear. Not worth it for me, but it's absolutely lovely!

I find this asbsolutely LOVELY in the imp. Getting slight blue lollipops and sugar plum fairy vibes from this. Once on my skin it morphs, and the sweeter notes sorta fade and make place for a lot of apple. The other notes are besides noticeable kindof indistinguishable, or rather, not as easy to pick apart as it could, but it works. They add a certain mystery to this, a certain darkness like a veil of smoke. Is it blasphemy to call this the spring version of samhain?

Definately the peacock queen's sappier, green sister. WOW this is green! Peacock queen is the rose for me, but if you're more into the green thing you'll absolutely love this.

From the imp; soapy, green, herbal. It definately has a sense of whimsy in there. On my skin it goes to something similar as the dead leaves note. That, but a little less... dead. Is there white rose in this? It reminds me of it. In the end on my skin, fresh messy dishwash. Not for me unfortunately as much as I love the concept.

Whooaa this is really REALLY strong, fruit and sugary from the imp! I don't miiiind it... or rather the concept of it at all, I just don't like banana or coconut at all, and while it's a good blend alltogether, I can still pick apart all the notes. It's lovely but not for me.
