Ooooh, I love the rum note in this!! Just a lovely, punchy, exotic cocktail on my wrist. A little too much of the pineapple and orange for me, and I'm not sure if it's just me but I'm getting coconut vibes (which I'm not a huge fan of), but it's something special.

Not at all what I expected; however it does fit the concept to me as it's very, very anise-y and it directly made me think of beschuit met muisjes! Anyway, on drydown it goes a lot softer and more pleasant, otherwise... Yeah. Beschuit met muisjes.

What I'm getting from the imp is a sharp, branch-y and berryish kinda blend. While most of it's the same on my skin, on drydown it gets slightly more aquatic and I'm pretty sure the blossom and some other floral notes amp up a bit to help it get a little more awesome. Very true to the concept!! Reminds me a bit of the mainstream perfume "Eden" for as far as I remember it.

Oh wow, this scared me from the imp, as I got a barky-herby kind of feel from it, but it couldn't be more different on my skin! Gorgeous fruity goodness! All the individual notes loud and clear, easy to pick apart for me, but mixed together to perfection. I won't need a bottle but I'm so glad I got to sniff it.

...I'm not getting a whole lot of vanilla. I mean, it's there, but I expected something more like Edith Cushing. ...Not the case. That said, it's not a bad mix at all, perhaps just not for me. Slightly citrusy (or is that fir?) with the same mint note as in winter-time.

As much as I'm appearantly and mostly unfortunately not a fan of mugworth and mandarin, I can tell exactly what's going on here and it, ofcourse, fits perfectly to it's concept. There's definately some sort of awe in here, a sense of feeling really small under a blanket or stars. Chilly, blue/orange, soft.

Herby, backyardy goodness! Slightly morphs on my skin from a light green berry mixture to a darker, herbal party. Awesome. Reminds me of a scene from a book "wise child" where an accused "witch" has a backyard full of herbs. Good times...

In the imp: violet/jasmine toilet cleaner! thank goodness, once applied the red currant comes out straight away and makes it more playful and warm. It's a good mix, while I'm still able to tell apart all the notes. Unfortunately I'm not a fan of all of them, but the currant and rose petals are just lovely and it's pretty evocative all the same. I should go to Venice someday.

I swear I've smelled this before.... Where was it??? Perhaps a fancy schmansy restaurant I walked by once? The more fancy, sensual soft notes I pick up from the imp however quickly fade to a sharper, more dusty blend on my skin. To be honest, after a little while it goes garbage on me. Seriously. Like, a full bag of garbage. Bleh. Too bad, it was promising at first.

Didn't figure out the peppermint note until I read it, now it totally makes sense. Kidishly sweet, bubblegum-y. A lovely, slightly less plasticky strawberry note comes out after about ten minutes on my skin. Really cute!

Hm, Not what I'd expected from the name, but hey, I hadn't checked the notes before sniffing. It's sweet but salty pastry. Warm, slightly spicy. It's making me visualise eating spiced bread when really drunk... Not sure how that image popped in my head, but it's kinda like that, in a good way. It also reminds me of this. Doesn't morph much on my skin besides that there was a 'funky' note before that has now faded. Which is a good thing, it's a little more adult I guess. Nice, sweet, funny.

Oh my god I've smelled this before somewhere and I can't get myself to flashback where or what. It smells like a churchyard on a chilly, autumn night. Definately has it's spooky elements, but also something sweet and floral. If you've never been to the Efteling (and considering most people on here aren't Dutch there's a good chance you haven't) you'll probably have no idea what I'm talking about, but I'm getting some crazy spookslot vibes. ...A good thing, to be sure. Considering whether I should get myself a bottle if it comes back this year, it's that good.

Winter tuberoses bending gently in a crisp, cold breeze. Very very frosty minty toothpaste. when applied to my skin, the floral notes come out very quickly. It's actually a bit fuzzy, as if this clear winter day is not as clear as it says, but has some fog hanging around, heh. Nice and evocative!

Oooh, lovely! A fruity (strawberry?), fizzy, just-not-soapy and playful scent. ...I think my skin does this with a certain note that I haven't been able to put my finger on so far, but it morphs everything to straight up soap. It's not a bad soap... But I'd rather smell like pink champagne if that was the intent than soap. It's seriously cute though!!!

In the imp it's oddly fruity, almost figgy and raspberryish but more artificial. To be completely honest I'm really not quite sure what to say, I'm not too crazy about this. On drydown it goes slightly tarty, almost a faint smell of ginger cookies. That said... ...odd.

WOW, yep, that's definately something that should scare you off! A dark as the night vetiver with something like rotten fruit in the background. Not sure about the rest of the notes myself, but the frankinsence is there and adds another spine-tingling element of the afterlife to it. I'm not at all a vetiver fan, and to me this is just very unpleasant generally, but, glad I got to sniff more of the crimson peak's. It's definately dark and brooding, and ofcourse evocative and fits the film/concept.

Metallics. Metallics with something incredibly sweet... Caramel? Just ever so slightly cologne-y and soapy; these two amping on my skin like crazy, plus it getting super zingy in the process, then it goes a little fizzy and sour. Very tell-tale, very inspiring, definately nice, but not something I think I'd wear often.

In the imp it's a dusty stuffy warm scent. Insence-y and floral. Got something really fancy going on. Like an I'm-off-to-the-opera-charles type fancy. Lovely hybiscus. Unfortunately on my skin it turns into more of a cleanser of some sorts, still, with some of the nice notes in there, but it morphed into it's wetter, dishwasher sister.

Upon a second sniff, I suddenly know what it reminds me of; (/a specific/) clean hotel. As in, the hallways and foyer and whatnot. Weird, I know, but it's absolutely not a bad thing. Not sure what the notes are supposed to smell like, but it's a minty, slightly sweet and juicy but dusty type clean. Really quite lovely!

Fresh. The green tea and lemon being the most obvious to me in there. It's actually quite sweet for the slightly grim name it bears... Goes all lemon on my skin. Nice, but not for me.

Hmm. Lovely! From it imp, it's like toilet cleaner to me, but if you sniff the same thing, don't let it fool you. On my skin, it morphs to a warm, slightly spicy and creamy floral. It's very sweet and I'm only getting a touch of insence. Fantastically blended as everything just balances out so well!! It reminds me of something from my childhood, but I really can't put my finger on it what that thing would be...

Soft, sweet, but with a dark edge to it. It's not similar to, but has the same sort of vibe to it as the vampire bride. Bright, feminine. Gah! As soon as I put this on my skin all the notes dissapear but the tobacco and peach! It's nice and sweet, but way too subtle for me. Aw. :c

A bitter floral. It's not something I've smelled before. On my skin, the gardenia really amps, and the rest sorta stays in the background. Gardenia's are unfortunately not for me but I really don't find this unpleasant!
-
Bleh. Not for me. That aside, this is kinda like a cabin-in-the-woods-in-winter type scent to me. Or maybe that wood/burn smell if you walk into a hardware store (where they happen to be cutting wood). On drydown, it goes a bit more 'stone' on me if that makes any sense. Kind of the stone note in dwarf. Still smell the burnt wood, but also stone and warm water.

I got a sniffie in a swap a while ago and accidentally mixed up this one with the old one, oops. There is quite a difference, but both are lovely. Gotta be honest I just had a sniff of drink me and it reminds me a little of this. However while that's more in the tarty-sweet area, this is definately more chocolate-y sweet. It's delicious. I'm afraid it goes a little plastic on me but I might get a bottle later on anyway, deliciousss....
