Phew! What a stinky creature of the night! I find all the notes pretty easily distinguishable, vetiver here ruining it for me again. Bah. Doesn't morph too much aside from the fact that it's more earthy in the imp and more smoky on drydown. Interesting and certainly tells a story, but, not for me. :')

Hmm, it's so sweet it's almost like there's honey in here. A soft, swift vanilla, the white notes turn this into something really cold. And there's that lovely bpal dead leaves note. Enlightening but dark! EDIT: Ew, this goes all kinds of nasty on me when it's completely dry... too bad.

Oh, I didn't expect the citrus/lime notes in there at all, but it's quite nice. Not too sharp. A bit smoky as well, and some spices in the background on my skin. image-evocative, very interesting!

In the bottle I get a lot of fig and warm, sharp berries. On my skin it turns to lovely, natural squishy blueberries, and the raspberries that sets a firm, but soft background. It's all gold-and pinkish on me. So good, so soft. slightly powdery. Just enough musk to give it that imaginary glow. Yum! Wish this was stronger on me.

Hmmm. Wet, this is almost velvety. Smooth and a bit ...zesty? I think it might be the combination of the jasmine and benzoin in there. On my skin, there's almost something foody about it, but it's also like walking into a forest full of bushes of fresh berries n' whatnot. I have to get used to it, but it's very, very interesting. Cold, dark, and gender-neutral/feminine-leaning. It reminds me a bit of the forest reverie when it's been on my skin for a while; minty, dark and green but still with something that keeps it from going too boring and gives it a little twist. The forest reverie is the sweet, summery sister of this, while this stays on it's dark, misty path.

I'm getting toilet cleaner from the imp. Applied directly to my skin a more fruity/floral note comes out directly. Quite a lovely red rose, with a very strong myhrr and that muskyness very in your face. The ylang ylang is almost sugery. Odd combination, goes a bit plasticy after a little while. Not bad, but not for me. Oh well...

Mme. Moriarty, Misfortune Teller (2015)

Very similar to the first version, while that one was a bit thicker, sharper and spicier. This one is a bit more smooth and soft but that's exactly how I like it. To be fair, when this bottle came in yesterday I barely smelt it but appearantly it had to settle and it's obviously moriarty now. I hope that it ages to where it gets just a little more of that punch that the first version had, otherwise it's basically the same thing. Lovely! <3 -
Definately getting a big whiff of watermelon in there but there's something clashing in it for me. Probably the mandarin/strawberry combination, and on my skin it goes a bit plasticy or just artificial hard fruit candy... However, looking at this from an unbiased perspective, it's definately a bit woody and musky alongside a plethora of juicy fruits!

Oooh! A very masculine, warm, floral and musky. Green. Honestly I'm getting imagery in my head of a handsome man lying on a bed of flowers, berrybushes growing a few metres away. Very sexy. A bit citrusy, and cologney but not too much and it doesn't drown the rest of the notes. Pretty!!

Got a sniffie in an awesome swap! To me, this is pretty odd. I don't think I've ever smelled anything like this before. A sweet mint (not a cold, breathmint kinda mint), a bit smoky and goes very subtle and powdery on my skin. Maybe it's because I don't have that much to test with, but it's certainly interesting (and sugary)!

Mmm lovely, sweet pie and red musk on the frontline, as the more spicy notes compliment it greatly. On my skin it morphs to a very sugary mint/liquorice candy cane with a lot of red musk. A great holiday scent! A bit too liquorice-y for me personally, but otherwise an absolute pleasure to sniff!

Definately as the description says. A story with a ghost in it. It's really like the dusty, antique smell of walking through an old manor/castle. Thick but smooth leather, inks and sturdy paper. Unfortunately my skin turns this into stale cake, but it's awesomely spooky!!!

Holy strong almond and coconut batman! A 'lil reluctant to put this on my skin, but seeing how there is a lovely fig-note in there I'm giving it a try... Actually, it goes a bit milky on me- that, and the almond and coconut turn into something woodsy. Green, sweet, exotic with a soft sandalwood complimenting it. Very different from in the imp which is great. It's a little too soft for me though, and I don't think this'll live on for long on me. Very interesting!

Yasss, berries! Lovely, squishy berries! Not sure what heather's supposed to smell like but ...it's my favourite plant so hey. It's alltogether quite purply, a tad earthy and very sweet. Would love a bottle of this in the future!

This is what I was hoping to find in burial! I'm not sure what the geranium is supposed to smell like but I'm guessing it's providing this blend with a thick sweet undertone. Not sure either with Irish yew. However the spanish moss is quite easy to pick apart from this and it's really heavy and cream-y. Not too much dirt, but it's there. It's almost like a rainy day in a greenhouse type thing. This layers really well with London. Awesome!

Interesting! Very green indeed, with the absinthe and fern on the foreground, but also getting big whafts of the lilac and lavender. Clean, fresh with a bit of garden dirt. Bit of a weird sweet note in there when it's dry; no idea where to place that. It's nice, but not for me.

It's like a calm, rainy day in London city. Very imagery evocative! Lovely and mature. Won't need a bottle as I've already found my perfect rose-scent (if you like the rose in this you might like the peacock queen!), but it's a pleasure to sniff!

I was expecting something very bitter and sharp, but from the imp it's actually very sweet and it's crazy how much of a tealeaves vibe I'm getting. Very interesting - on my skin it morphs pretty much directly to something a tad sweeter (a "sweet" I can only compare in my mind to the taste of tea with milk and sugar) but there's also something sharp/bitter in there, but it's still smooth (comparable to cinnamon). It kinda dies after a little while with drydown though which is a shame cause it's very pretty!

Hmmm... From the imp it reminded me just a bit of fairy tales & lies, but a little warmer and added vetiver. The vetiver kinda scared me at first, but applied to my skin it directly went a lot sweeter and warmer and it fell into the background; there's a certain sweetness in here and a soft, woodsy pachouli. I can also imagine a string of swirling insence which might be the oudh & tobacco notes and it's so smooth. Not "wow" enough for a bottle for me but certainly lovely to try, and another great CP scent.

This smells very lime-y and juicy in the imp. Very fresh and sweet like watermelon, kinda zesty. I'm gettin very little strawberry (but I might just not be picking it up as I don't think I've smelled much bpal with strawberry before yet). It's quite lovely. Turns soapy on my skin, aw.

Aaand I see why everyone seems to like this- a deep red musk swirling like a mysterious cloud, that lovely purple plum like a swirl of incense, a touch of leafy/foresty pachouli and the other notes to sweeten it up. Very, very sexy. Has a huuuuge throw on me and an amazing staying power! If I sniff it up close on my wrist, it's a bit too sharp, and just a little too much pachouli. However, if I'm just about doing my thing I keep smelling this wonderful concoction and it's not too sharp at all. It's quite amazing on me. I read the newer version is softer/sweeter and I'm pretty sure I might like that one EVEN more. BIG yes!! So happy I got to try this

I was not expecting this (though I'm not sure what I was expecting). Leather is known to amp on me, which is basically what I end up with on drydown plus some of that lovely sweet vanilla and a tiiny bit of the lilac (which unfortunately never seems to work on me). I find this a pretty soft blend, a thick leather with a bit of lime and lots of vanilla. Dies on me after half an hour though. Too bad! This is great!

Dusty, sugary, soft and sweet! The abricot and plums are a tad artificial but that doesn't mean that I don't get an appetite for them from this. However my skin kinda turns this into something comparable to blue lollipops in it's dry stage, just a little more dim. It still has a huge throw and I get whafts of it for a good couple of hours wearing this. I might want a bottle of it in the future if it gets another release, but I'm not in a rush. It is really quite lovely though!!

Got a bunch of imps from a lovely swapper, including krampus 2006. Oooh... sultry but spicy. A herby type of spicy. The wood notes in there are subtle and there's also something aquatic & really sweet, but not sickeningly. On my skin it amps up the red musk, but also the spicy notes kinda jump out on me. A bit overwhelming, but still sultry, and surprisingly doesn't have a strong throw on me. I don't think I need a bottle as I like it a bit more in it's wet stages than dry, but what a lovely blend! (My bird seems to be very interested in this scent; she keeps walking onto my hand where I applied the perfume).

Ah, I was wondering what that bittery-sweetness is, beeswax! This is just a lovely masculine-leaning scent with something dark and woodsy- (and I mean forest-y) in there. It's sort of evil. On my skin it amps up the sandalwood it becomes far more leathery but holds on to the sweetness of the beeswax. Very interesting~
