This one of the most utterly perfect gardenia perfumes I've ever encountered. It's just huge bunches of luscious white flowers and the most gentle of aquatic notes floating in the background. Ginger starts to come out with the dry down and give the flowers a little pizzazz. The flowers eventually fade leaving just a lingering floral over a gorgeous musk and ginger. Totally bottleworthy.

I just received an imp of this and it is an absolute dead ringer for YOSH Sottile perfume oil which I like, but currently retails for $US130 for 8mL. I will be buying every bottle of this I can when the next CD act drops. I don't really get much of the sugar that others have. On me, it's just a very pretty and ladylike rose. I find rose tends to do better on my skin when it's as simple and single-note as possible and this is just lovely.

2010: I'm new to BPAL so I have never sniffed Snake Oil or O or any of the other scents associated with this, so I went into this one blind. Womb Furie smelled awful in the bottle, very cloying and sweet, but seemed to want to do nice things on my skin so I gave it a week to rest before trying again. When I tried again, I was immediately hit with a lovely spicy honey scent, but it disappeared off my skin pretty much immediately. So I put a dab of unscented coconut oil on my palm and mixed a few drops of Womb Furie in, ran it through my hair and wow, it really is like being in a gorgeous cloud of patchouli and honey. I can see this being a great mood elevator when your womb is feeling furious!

I was frimped a half-full imp of the 2013 version and I am DEVASTATED I can't get more. In the imp it's all soft creamy date, vanilla and honey. Wet on my skin it deepens to a gorgeously smooth, almost chocolaty scent. The dry down is rounded out by soft amber and sandalwood, but it's never woody per se. More all the florals and woods mingle beautifully together to back up the creamy wet notes. Not sure if mine is so lovely because it's a few years old, but I do so hope this will come back next year. I'd be happy to put it away for a couple of years to end up with such a lovely perfume.

Looking for a BPAL that Resembles a Favorite Perfume

I'm not sure if this belongs here because the perfume I love is a candle. It's a ludicrously expensive Glasshouse candle called Bois Magiques which is scented with cedar, nutmeg and musk and I want to smell like it all day, every day. It's a deliciously smokey wood, that has a lovely musky softness. It smells like how I imagine a fairy tale character who lives in a cosy cottage in the woods would smell. Would anyone be able to recommend a BPAL with the same vibe?
