I got this as a frimp on November I think. I just tested it today and wow, I am seriously impressed! As people have described above, it's an aquatic floral perfume, with a bit of sweetness. I'm not the best person when it comes to scent descriptions but to me it just smells like freshly picked flowers down by a river, on a spring morning. It has a coldness to it, which is lovely. I'll definitely be getting a bottle sometime soon! <3

Ah this was love at first sniff. The first time I sniffed it on the imp, I immediately got the fresh, bright pear, followed by some mellow florals. It's refreshing and yet sweet, and stays pretty true to the wet stage as it dries. This would be the perfect spring scent, as the floral notes from the lab tend to be so close to the source and it doesn't smell fake at all. I think I used to dislike florals because they just smelled perfume-y and generic, but I am now a changed woman, ready to rock some crisp florals when the Spring comes!

I got this as a frimp and it definitely doesn't smell fresh or young. The only two scents I can really pick up are lavender (which I'm not particularly fond of) and baby powder. I'm really no good with florals, but this to me smells like an old lady, and it the best of chances maybe like dried down flowers (maybe jasmine and roses?). Not for me.

Never having tried any of BPALs foody scents before, this came off as really surprising. It smells like actual cake. Not like sweet foody vanilla with fruits, but like as if you've just opened the oven to check on your vanilla cake. You can tell it's really well blended, and it smells really lovely. I don't think I would wear it during the day when I'm out and about as it's a bit too foody for me, but I got this as a gift for my Alice in Wonderland/foodie scents loving sister, so I'm sure she'll love it.

Bought a full bottle for my boyfriend, as he loves coffee smells (and wood smells great on him). I just had the opportunity to skin test it once, from the bottle it just smells of irish coffee (super foody could've-fooled-me irish coffee), once on the skin it dries down to a more toned down version of it, maybe less boozy. A few hours later and my skin smells like a really yummy hazelnut latte from starbucks. Unfortunately this is a bit too foody for me, and I get no oakwood or books, but I'm guessing this will work just fine on my sweet tooth of a boyfriend.

This is just lovely. Before trying both this and La Belle Au Bois Dormant as they came as frimps, I thought I hated florals. Amazingly this doesn't turn soapy, powdery or old lady-ish on me. Wet, it starts off really fresh, if not actually watery. Then the beautiful crisp wild lettuce starts surfacing and makes it smell even more green. The florals are there yes, but more on the background, and the green lettuce really shines. Ah, I'm in love and I'll definitely get a bottle soon!
