This one broke my heart! It was all clove and musk and syrupy cherry out of the bottle, and only got worse when I put it on. And I was so looking forward to it! I guess Alice will have to be my autumn floral.

This is super faint on me; I can just make out the pear. Not bad, but hardly there.

Baku is eucalyptus and licorice on me. Not at all something I would wear out of the house, but I may try it in a pre-bedtime bath.
-
Bitter grass with notes of citrus. Not unpleasant, but I'd probably prefer to smell it on someone else than myself.
-
I was hoping for more of the flowers, but I'm getting pretty much just vanilla on my skin. I love vanilla, and this is a nice soft vanilla, but it's just vanilla.

This feels like a halloween tea party! It's more pumpkin than Alice on me, but it's a fruity pumpkin. A nice little dessert of a scent.

I have no idea why, but this goes on me as pure bubblegum. I had the same problem with Gothic Horror, but I can't find any overlapping ingredients so I'm stumped.

Why does this smell like lemon on me? I'm reminded of a less intense Embalming Fluid. I can sense some of the floral notes, but no sandalwood at all. It's not bad, but I doubt I'd get a bottle of it.

I had to take it off almost immediately after applying it. It smelled fine in the bottle, but when I put it on I got hit by something horribly cloying- it must have been the bitter almond. It sounds from other peoples' reviews that it changes overtime, but I couldn't wait.

I can officially say, between this and Blackcurrant Sufganiyot, that the blackcurrant note is too strong for me. It's all I get in this, sweet like jam or a lollipop, with no rose to be found.

I didn't get any turkey out of this and honestly, that's probably for the best. This was another nice foodie smell, but you don't really need it if you already have Dorian or anything else heavy on the vanilla.

I'm impressed this smells so like its name, but maybe it's a little too literal. The smell is warm and nice, but I don't know that this is something I want to wear. Maybe put into baths in small amounts would be nice. I don't think BPAL's apple note is the best for me, which is a shame, as something a bit fruitier might have relieved the heavy rum.

2017 Eusapia I was hoping for more lilac, but it's coming out strongly lemon and tea scented. Which isn't bad, and there is some soft lilac beneath the sour notes! It's a nice delicate blend, but I'll have to keep searching for my perfect lilac.

Right out of the bottle, this was overwhelmingly sweet. I was a little afraid to put it on, it smelled so strongly of jam and nothing else! After some time on my skin it mellowed, and the pastry notes became a little more prominent. This isn't going to be an everyday scent, but I think for occasions when I want to feel festive and cozy it'll be perfect.

Between Your Heart and Mine from the Crimson Peak collection has a SUPER strong rosewood note.

Ooh, this sounds fun! Anyone got any recommendations for Agatha Christie novels?

Here's another vote for Mary Shelley- it's got this weird unsettling but oddly pretty feel to it from the ozone and labdanum.

This is a sweet, comforting scent. Somehow the notes have combined to give me a hint of chocolate. Unlike other snake oil blends, this one doesn't read as sexy to me; it's more like eating from a plate of muffins while wearing a big fluffy sweater. I'd been a little wary about the pumpkin note because Jack was way too much for me, but the scents seem to balance each other well here. It'll be a good cold weather perfume.

Like Croquet but a bit harsher. It's perfectly nice, but the lab has better grapefruit scents, which for me is the main draw. I'm definitely getting something herbal, but oddly enough, not especially minty.
-
It doesn't feel especially sexy to me, but I am surprised by how much I like it. I'm not typically into herbal scents, but this one has a soothing quality to it.

Perfectly enchanting! An irresistibly sexual, utterly rapturous blend of three roses, radiant amber, and sensual red musk. This smelled deliciously of roses in the bottle, but oh! How I was deceived! It's nothing but a moldy wet musk when applied to my skin.
-
This is a very, very foody scent to me. The honey is reading as fruit on my skin, and I suppose the amber is reading as cooking products. I might not wear this on its own, but I imagine it could smell good in a lotion.

This smells exactly like a pumpkin spice latte on me. I usually love sweet foodie scents, but this one is just too much for me! I feel like I've been turned into a cupcake.

First impressions: Very hippie, putting me in mind of a new age store. There are light flowers and an odd vegetable scent. I have to hunt hard for the spice. After drying down: This fades into something more foody and honey scented, though not as strong as Snake Oil. It's a pleasant scent, but since I already have a full bottle of Snake Oil I doubt I'd buy a full bottle of Vixen.

If your top 5 scents are... Then try these!

Thanks! Coral Snake especially looks amazing.
