This is amazing! It smells like the red musk from Mme. Moriarty made a cameo in Samhain

Wet on the skin: smells like Dragon's Blood with a cinnamon root beer vibe....my skin chemistry is so weird but I REALLY love this!! Drying: Dragon's Blood and Cinnamon chewing gum, still loving it This might be the cinnamon perfume of my dreams! Comforting edit: it just came to me! This scent smells a good deal like Thrills gum, that purple gum in the yellow package...I LOVE that gum!

Oh my this one is sooo cool it smells like a beautiful ghost Someone (annemathematics I think) said it would complement dresses by a designer named Gibbous Fashions and I totally agree! It's a dusty floral, I find it to be soft and close to the skin Beautiful!

This one opens up with the apple singing at the top of it's lungs Then the apple starts to play more with the other notes and I get a little bit of the patchouli and vanilla creme, it's really quite nice The even further in the red musk really starts to make itself know, subtle at first but now I'm finding it to be mostly red musk with apple, vanilla and patchouli in the background I never really noticed the white musk or teakwood Fantastic fall scent!

I had high hopes for this one and it smelled AMAZING in the bottle, like fresh dewy roses! But my skin turns the roses into soap, I'm finding this to be my reaction to all the BPAL rose scents I've tried Oh well Like I say for most my other rose based scent reviews, if your skin doesn't ruin the rose note I would highly recommend this one! Smelling it in the bottle again ,oh my goodness so pretty! So perfect! Damn you skin chemistry

This one started a little play-dohy on me but that went away and now it reminds me a lot of Lush's old shampoo bar Trichommania It smells coconutty and a little fresh yet powdery, it threatens to go a little plastic on me but hasn't yet I'll see how this one ages, right now I'm not a huge fan but I also don't dislike it edit: scratch that, it went full plastic-y on me, noooo double edit: I've let it age some and the plastic-y went away AND a greenness came out that makes this lovely...it's now a keeper!

dragon's milk just got added to my "to-buy" pile of imps! It's dragon's blood resin with the addition of a sweet cream The sweetness is a little weird while wet on the skin and makes the dragon's blood smell a little medicinal but when it dries down they meld wonderfully to make a Dragon's Blood blend that I can wear everyday
-
This one is musky berries on me, I really like it I don't get a screechy white musk like it says, both the red and the white are nice a smooth on me
-
I get a sweet powdery violet and a soapy tea rose Rather pretty but a little too much like soap for me to want to wear as a perfume

When I was little my mom switched us over to a fake christmas tree because she was sick of dealing with the needles all over her carpet. She went out and bought a xmas tree scented plugin to mimic the now-missing smell. That is what this perfume smells like to me, sweetened pine

I get dark dirty (as in dirt speckled) roses, the roses don't seem young/juicey. It's more of a dried rose I get some musk too but I don't get the amber (too bad I love amber)
-
I like this one! It's mainly wooden steam sauna with a little bit of campfire smoke and some sweetness (seems like a fruity floral mixture) This is really comforting, and I'm noticing a bit of a trend...maybe that's a Leo thing, fire scents = comfort
-
I was surprised to see this didn't have any rose in it, I though for sure I smelled some. Must've been the mix of the cherry and wine and maybe poppy Wet on skin: fruity wine and what I thought was a juicy rose Drying: sweet cherries and wine, some sort of floral note (must be the poppy) Dry: Vanilla, Cherries and Wine I don't get any clove, maybe my skin drinks it. If there's honey in there it blessedly doesn't turn foot sweat on me woohoo I like it enough to keep and use the imp but not enough for a full bottle

In the bottle: really foody scents like this always smell like the butter from microwave popcorn to me On the skin: still some butter but the cakes are coming through Dry: extremely strong cake with a bit of berry Not a fan of scents that are this foody, but this could be a foody lovers dream scent edited because spellcheck changed foody to food

I am not going to be able to write the best review on this because the scent association I get with this is so strong that I can't really pull the scent apart at all Smells like the bath beads my mom used to use when I was young, she would let me use them every now and then. So when I put this scent on I can almost feel myself squishing the bath beads as soon as they became soft enough. So I find this scene extremely comforting which was unexpected I wish I could remember which bath beads they were but all I can remember is that they were a blue dominate teal

This one is on my "to-buy" full bottle list (as soon as I stop spending all my money on LE's that is) It's so pretty! I get the Vanilla and the Ambers and the Sweet pea...I don't really notice the Sandalwood (though I'm not sure what white sandalwood should smell like) Wet: Vanilla and sweet pea with amber at base Dry: amber comes up a little more and all three notes a pretty much equal on me

Realized I posted this in the wrong thread, read the correct thread and found the answer to my question!

I made an order on the 30th of Dec. and I received an order confirmation the next day, but to-date I still haven't received a shipping notification. I've looked around this site at other peoples order/ship dates and no one's seems to be taking this long and they've ordered seemingly similar things to me. About how long should I wait before I email the lab to check if my order was lost/dropped?

whoa the almond does something gnarly on me skin with this one It's smells like a sweet almond exact (the cherry smelling kind) scented play-doh
-
So this one really didn't work for me. With the Vetiver, Rose and Honey it somehow came across as dill pickles (minus vinegar)....why? I don't know, but you can probably understand my disappointment

On me this smell's like a mix of Saje's Yoga blend + mens cologne + a little bit of anise (weird) It's nice but I wouldn't want to wear it often, I'd like it more as a room diffuser actually No full bottle for me, but I like having the imp! -
I keep trying this one because so many people love it, but on me it just smells like a Spirit of Christmas store Not really bad, but not something I want to walk around smelling of. I wish there was a lot more amber in this scent
-
This one starts off rather powdery and clean smelling (like soap or lotion)...but my skin chemistry does that, takes a dark scent and turns it into a kitten As it dries down it becomes more sweet and incensey and that actually melds really well with the clean powder. Over all I really like this one, it sticks really close to my skin though I'll have to try it a few more times to see if I think it's full bottle worthy

Phoenix Steamworks

Uh oh, this one I get some sweetness and Incense...and diaper?! Not a poopy diaper, a clean one but diaper none the less. I wonder what note/s is making it do that on my skin, the bonze and gold maybe? either way this one is not for me 0/2 on this series edit: the diaper impression fades and I'm left with a really pleasent sweet incense , still don't like it enough to put up with the opening but I wouldn't consider it a failure on me anymore...now i'm 0.5/2 with the steam works line -
White tea, sugar cane, orange blossom, rockrose, lemon balm, white mint, and honey. Honey is a death note on me so luckily I only notice it when I first put it on and then it disappears into the background I don't notice any lemon balm or rockrose (although I'm not sure what that's supposed to smell of) in the blend. It's mostly White Tea, Sugar Cane, Orange Blossom and White Mint on me I really like this one, the mint is so refreshing and I never would have thought it would mix so well with the other notes
