Snow Scene with Cherry Blossoms Beside the Phallus Statue

This is stunning. It is all pine and mint in the bottle, but after application, it blossoms into a sweet, sugary floral. I'm getting warm cherry blossoms and ume, and I just adore this. A perfect spring scent.

    Bleeding Walls

In the bottle, this is a lovely, sugary cherry with a leather note barely hiding in there. As it dries down, my skin starts to amp up the leather and the bitter almond while the cherry almost vanishes completely. There's a hint of red fruit remaining, but on me, this becomes a leather/almond-dominant scent. It's surprisingly cozy and comforting.

    Candy Apple Smut

A bright, sugary toffee apple mixed with swirls of boozy musk. This one is gorgeous and highly recommended if you're a fan of apple scents and smut. I'm so glad I have a full bottle because this is gorgeous and backup bottle worthy!

    Cola de Mono

On me, there isn't even a subtle hint of coffee. I get a sweet, creamy licorice orange with just a hint of sugar and milk. It isn't the coffee scent I was hoping for, but it's absolutely delightful! Very pretty. I need a full bottle and will cherish my decant.

    Beaver Moon 2017

I love this one. In the bottle, it smells like sweet coffee and chocolate. Initially, I was concerned because it goes through a plasticky stage about 20 minutes after application. But on me it dries down to a sweet caramel coffee. It's a definite winner and I'm so happy that I have a bottle!

    The Yawning Void

This is cold and foreboding. In the bottle I get sharp eucalyptus and menthol. I suspect there might be some light florals in this, however, as the scent seems to sweeten on dry down and the sharpness fades. This is a really light, fresh aquatic on my skin. It's something I would wear when I'm at home and want to wear something that isn't too strong. Sadly, however, it only lasts a couple of hours before fading significantly.

    Apple Butter Rum

This smells so promising in the bottle! I was so excited to try this one. On me, however, it ends up smelling like Hot Buttered Whiskey. My skin is fickle when it comes to rum/whiskey scents and this pretty much proves it for me. What a shame! I might store it away and come back to it in a few months...

Dead Leaves, Violet Candy, and Sugar Crystals

In the bottle, I get dead leaves, and dead leaves only. I was admittedly a little concerned since the dead leaves note can be a bit overpowering at times. But this dries down to a sweet, sugared violet with just a hint of that dead leaves note that was so strong in the bottle. This is absolutely delightful. I think I'll be wearing this one a lot!

    Vampire Princess

This is stunning. It reminds me a lot of Shadow in the Elevator and Black Moths. It's very purple. Plummy and sophisticated. I really love this one, and I'm so glad I have a bottle.

    Bestla

I wasn't too sure about this one - amber and rose are fickle notes on me. Amber often turns to powder, and rose tends to fade, so I didn't know what to suspect. In the bottle, I get rose. So much rose. But on dry down, this becomes something sweet, and sophisticated. The rose doesn't vanish too much, and the amber behaves itself. On me, this actually reminds me a bit of a lighter, brighter Lucille Sharpe, without the plum and smokiness. I like it! I'm glad I chanced it and got myself a bottle because I'm going to be wearing this one a lot!

    Bathsheba

I adore plum notes and had really high hopes for this one. In the imp, I smell mostly plum with a hint of florals, which seemed promising. Unfortunately for me, the florals amp right up once applied, and it gives me a killer headache. It's a real pity because it smells gorgeous in the imp. Definitely not for me. I'll be passing this one on to someone else.

The Ghost of Clytemnestra Awakening the Furies

I had really high hopes for this one, as I love opoponax and wine. And I do indeed get wine and herbs in the bottle, but on me, it smells a lot like.... mustard. And I'm not really sure how I feel about that. I do get whiffs of sweet herbally wine from time to time, but when I sniff my wrist? Mustard. I may pass this one on to a friend, and see if she has better luck with it than I did!

    Egg Nog

2016: In the bottle, this is deliciously sweet. On me, it initially goes through an unpleasant plastic stage, and this lasts for about 30 minutes. However, I'm so glad I stuck with it, and didn't wash it off, because this eventually becomes a sweet, sugary vanilla and brandy. There isn't a whole lot of throw, but it's stunning and I can see myself wearing it a lot.

    La Belle au Bois Dormant

In the imp, this is a sweet, rosy pear. On me, the pear fades a little, and the florals start to amp. I don't get any rose, but I do get a lot of plumeria, sweetened by pear. This is a very light, pleasant scent. It isn't too cloying or sharp, as florals can often be on me. This is a soft, fruity floral. Perfect for work. I think I need a bottle!

    Elf

In the imp, all I can smell is pine. I tend to amp pine, so I was a little worried. Upon applying, the berries begin to make an appearance, which softens the pine a little bit. After about 20 or so minutes, this starts to become a mix of berries, florals and pine. It's nice, but it's very, very strong. A little drop goes a long way for me, personally, and too much of this oil tends to give me a headache. It's nice, but I don't think I need a bottle. I have other berry scents that are less cloying, and unfortunately, I find the pine to be a little too intense for me. Would absolutely recommend this to those who love pine and berry notes, though!
