I'm... confused about this scent. In the imp it smelled lemony and I could smell a lot of flower notes, I wasn't really getting the bubblegum smell people keep mentioning. On my skin, I thought it smelled like very heavily spiced oranges (which sounds like a tasty dessert) with a honeysuckle overlay. My friend, however, when smelling my wrist, said it smelled like someone's kitchen (I guess she got lemon pledge out of it, and I can see that too, but more like someone wiped a counter with it and then dumped a container of cinnamon on top). Over the day it smelled freshly like citrus and flowers and cinnamon but whenever I bent down to smell it closer, it was so sweet that it almost made me nauseous. Then suddenly, within five minutes (but almost 8 hours after initial application) it turned into a really faint flower garden smell, which was sorta nice.

This is... intriguing. And good. In the imp this was really strong on the herbs, almost medicinally so. But not in a bad way, almost like you walk into a new-age apothecary and get washed over by a mix of all the smells in the store. On my skin, it smelled like rose (my mom said that it smelled like rose oil) but I thought it was a bit bitter (this really has or shouldn't have no negative connotations), I think I was smelling either the rosemary or the mint. If it's the mint, for me it smells like mint that you taste when you drink mint tea, not the mint that you smell, if that makes any sense. It was tasty either way. I'm not getting much of the lemon or orange flower that people are talking about, but right now, maybe 3 hours later, all of those scents are gone and there's a light floral remaining, so that might be it.

In the imp, this smelled really acrid and bitter and sour and sweet and like some citrus was going bad. I got really discouraged because I picked Wanda as an introduction to BPAL's leather and booze scents and I really really wanted to like it. When I put it on and it started to dry I realised that I must have been crazy. It smelled like a nice red wine that after some point moved to muted florals. Err not muted because they weren't strong, but because there was a scent that was almost overpowering it but not that strong. After the florals calmed down (about 3 hours later) there was a 2nd skin sort of scent that I didn't immediately realise and had to sniff other parts of my body to see that it wasn't me. I'm guessing that it was the leather and it smelled divine. I think now, 20 hours later, I can still smell some of it. Hooray! I'll keep wearing this. People have told me that I smelled very fruity, but I don't see it.

This is what made me order from BPAL (I'm a bit suspicious of Internet purchasing), but as soon as I read the description I knew I had to do it. In the imp it smelled really strongly of alcohol =\ uh oh. But as soon as it got onto my skin, OH MY FREAKING GOD. I agree with one of the original posters... Goes from having tea with a proper English gentleman but as soon as the maid is gone he fucks you six ways to Sunday. Goes on as really strong vanilla with a slight lemon hint, but as soon as it dries, I could start smelling some of the tea and the musk. Basically it was like smelling sweet vanilla tea with lemon off of the gentleman's naked body, except less dirty. I could definitely find comfort in this. 10 hours after application, and a bit of spice comes out (but that might be something else that rubbed off from my clothes onto my wrist) and I seriously cannot stop smelling myself. Mmm.
