I so wanted to like this one. I love the strawberry note in Hollywood Babylon and thought a scent with that strawberry plus green notes and earthy notes would be divine. But my nose detects nothing but strawberry wax. I have the sense of walking past a Yankee Candle store. No earthiness, no tartness. Just sickly-sweet, waxy, fake strawberry. That's how it smells in the bottle and that's how it smells on my skin, wet and dry. And it lingers, too, unlike many scents I like. Boo Maybe I will try it again when the weather warms up, just to be sure.

Mmmm, in the bottle this scent smells just like a perfectly-made Cosmopolitan--cranberry, citrus, and slightly boozy. As others have said, it's sparkly. But when it contacts my skin the alcohol scent disappears completely. I'm left with lime-cranberry with a faint soapy juniper undertone. It's very cool and refreshing, perfect for spring and summer. I was afraid the boozy note would be off-putting, but since it disappears on me, no worries. After drydown, the scent is the same on me, lime-cranberry with soapy juniper underneath. It's also somehow reminiscent of Sweet-Tarts. Unfortunately, the scent only lasts about two hours on me. Verdict: keep the imp and test again. Maybe add a few drops to lotion to layer and see if that helps with longevity.

Scents for pregnancy? Not recommended by the Lab

Okay, even though I'm new I'm just going to jump in. Does anyone have ideas about what scents might be good to wear during pregnancy? I don't have a sensitive stomach, but the scents that usually appeal to me--heavy, spicy ones like Blood, for example--smell a bit overpowering to me now. However, lighter scents--like Fae, which I also love, or would love if it had more longevity on me--fade away within half an hour with my dry skin/particular body chemistry. I don't really know what I want. Maybe someone here found a scent that smelled particularly heavenly to pregnant women? Or there's a scent that communicates fecundity But, please, no jasmine. Even a tiny hint of jasmine will be amplified by my body until it is all I can smell and I have a pounding headache.
