Received as a lil extra with an order In bottle: floral! Interesting! On skin: Patchouli.... though I like the smell I prefer to smell it on other people and not on me I think. After a few hours: stays the same

I received this as a free imp with an imp I bought from someone on here! In bottle: spicy, woody On skin: still spicy and woody; kinda like a craft store during the holiday season. After a few hours: too sweet and vanilla-ey unfortunately

Received this as a free imp with an order. In bottle: Oh I'm in love. Foodie, cookies, but not cloying; sweet and slightly spice-y. Definitely makes me think of Christmastime and candles. On skin: Still a warm and baked scent, but somehow also green and plantlike hints. Almost a menthol, but not overpowering. After a few hours: This reminds me both of childhood holiday decorations in my parent's house, and also weirdly of gardening, though I'm not sure where the earthy green growing scent is coming from. Maybe sunscreeny? I love this and will be keeping the imp for sure.

Received this as a free imp with an order. In bottle: bitter and cherry cough syrup. Unfortunately this does not bode well! On skin: Still just very bitter and artificial to me If I think hard about it I can get a sense of Hot Tamales, but I think it's just not working with my skin. After a few hours: it quieted down into a gentle cinnamon, but I think it's not right for me.

Floral for sure. After a few hours: it got kind of watery and weak; I didn't feel terribly impressed with how this worked on my skin. I will be swapping or giving away the imp

Received this as a free imp with an order. In bottle: medicinal and sweet On skin: Wow, this smells exactly like the ancient cinnamon sticks at my parents' house. I like the smell, though it may be a bit strong to have as a perfume. After a few hours: woody and musky. Not really my thing! Will probably swap imp.

Got this with my gift of nail polish from my parents. In bottle: GRAPEFRUIT! Smells just like my Burts Bees grapefruit makeup wipes 😛 On skin: Citrusy for sure. I'm worried it's starting to turn to the smell of the cleaning wipes we use at my house. After a few hours: Oh, how I wish I liked this. Unfortunately it just smells too much like the cleaning supplies we use! Rather than a diss on this scent I think it's a compliment to the Seventh Generation cleaning supplies, lol. I'll try this again at some point, because it seems similar to Cheshire Cat and 51, both scents I love.

Got an imp as part of an order. In bottle: woody lemongrass On skin: the lemongrass is really strong; I'm a big fan of lemongrass but unfortunately it's turned a bit "cleaner"-y to me? After a few hours: floral. This ended up not being a scent for me, unfortunately. Might swap this imp away.

Got this with an order of nail polish I ordered as a gift for someone. I'll be interested to see how this works on my skin. In bottle: a bit sweet for my tastes. On skin: musky and green. Not sure what it is! After a few hours: it turned caramel-y, then a bit watery. A hint of something that reminds of our local ren faire. Maybe pine-y? I'll keep the imp but am not gonna try to get more.

Just got this in a swap! I've become partial to roses. In bottle: ROSES On skin: still strong roses. Hint of fruitiness? After a few hours: the rose smell is pure and strong with this one, lol. I may not be at the level of loving roses yet where this perfume is for me, unfortunately. Will perhaps keep the imp.

Received this imp in a swap In bottle: citrus-y and sweet. On skin: gentle, almost a hint of vanilla, but not in a bad way (I usually dislike vanilla). After a few hours: it's vanished, unfortunately. I probably won't keep this one, as it seems to not really last on me. Oh well!

Just got this through a swap! Lily of the valley is one of my favorite scents In bottle: very bubblegum-y; probably the cherry. On skin: got a bit powdery on me so far, unfortunately. After a few hours: This one isn't for me, I don't think. It turned too powdery on me Will be probably be re-swapping this one away!

Just got an imp in a swap! Lavender tends to do well-ish on me, so fingers crossed! In bottle: slightly spicy lavender. On skin: this is STRONG on me. The spices go so well with the lavender. After a few hours: smells almost candy-like? I'm smelling a bit of bubblegum. Unfortunately this lavender isn't one that I think I like. Will maybe swap the imp away, but not sure as of now!

I received this imp in a swap. I'm a big fan of Shakespeare and fae royalty, and bergamot is one of my favorite scents. I'm a bit wary of patchouli. In bottle: This is different for sure. I can't figure out what it smells like! A bit sunscreen-y, fruity. Can't decide if I love it or hate it. On skin: I'm liking it, though I can't for the life of me pick anything out. It smells delightful though. Almost watery but not in a bad way. After a few hours: Unfortunately I don't love what it morphed to; it's a bit too watery. I'm going to keep the imp and retest it at some point, because I think I haven't decided fully yet whether I like it.

Just got an imp in a swap. I adore Mary Shelley, and I'm a big absinthe fan. In bottle: definitely get the absinthe, with a bit of... cherry? On skin: Oh, yum. Gentle florals (? perhaps. They're not overly sweet), with a hint of absinthe. After a few hours: I like this. It's got just enough to not feel too "perfume"y. Keeping the imp!

Just got an imp in a swap! I've been so interested in seeing what the lab's chocolate smells like! In bottle: Chocolate (of course). This reminds me of brownies a bit. On skin: Very good. Subtle and not too sweet, which was my fear. It smells like something is baking in the oven that I would love to eat. After a few hours: I love this. It's nice and uncomplicated. I will be keeping the imp, and definitely considering a bottle.

Just got an imp of this via a swap. I've been interested in BPAL's chocolate scents for a while now, so I'm interested to see how this goes! In bottle: CHERRY On skin: dry cherry, with a hint of cocoa in the background. After a few hours: has become more nutty with a hint of cherry and orange.

Just got an imp in a swap! I LOVE lavender, lilac, and citrus, so fingers crossed for this one. In bottle: summer sunscreen and oh my goodness I'm in love. I hope it stays well on my skin. On skin: the lavender comes forward a lot After a few hours: I really love this. Gives some bug spray / sunscreen vibes that, as someone who likes to scramble around outside in the summer all day everyday and is currently stuck indoors in the New England winter, I ADORE. Definitely keeping the imp, and want to buy a bottle.

Just received this decant through a swap! I'm excited to try this on myself, and if I don't care for it, I have a friend who loves the smell of gasoline who may be interested. In bottle: Gasoline, and a bit of cherry cough syrup? On skin: Oh, yum. Still got that nice hint of gasoline, but has a lovely smell of wood. Reminds me of outdoor flea markets! After a few hours: It smells mostly like wood now! I like this; I'll definitely share it with my friend as he likes some of the more "masculine" scents the lab offers.

Received this imp through a swap! Really excited to see what the ambers do on my skin. In bottle: Amber, and a hint of medicinal. On skin: Still the same on my skin! After a few hours: It's calmed down, mostly woody and a bit sweet. I think this scent unfortunately doesn't work super well on me, but I can tell it has lots of potential.

Just got this imp from a swap. I love the smell of dirt, and I'm very into forests and light florals, so I'm interested to see how this one turns out! In bottle: In the bottle, this smells very Vix-y to me. On skin: It definitely still has that menthol feel to it, but calmer and a bit tempered by.... what, I can't tell. After a few hours: Unfortunately, this keeps up a pretty strong menthol smell on me without much else.

I received this imp in a swap recently, and am excited to try it out. In bottle: Oh, I love this! Plants, plants, plants. A hint of flowers. On skin: Still very green and watery. I'm loving this, and hoping it doesn't turn on me! After a few hours: The florals became stronger on me after some time. I do like this scent quite a lot. I will keep the imp for sure, and might consider a full bottle.

Imp from 2011ish. Very excited for this! In bottle: super fresh and citrusy. On skin: starting to get more florals, with something warm in the background. After a few hours: this has become a lot more floral. I hoped the citrus would stick around, but that's okay. I like this scent a lot; keeping the imp, and hopefully will track down a bottle.

Imp from around 2011. I love rosemary, lavender, and lemon verbena, so this should be nice! In bottle: lavender, lavender, lavender On skin: starting to get the rosemary; reminds me of a living history museum I used to work at when we would distill the oils from the herbs. After a few hours: woody and lavender scent. A bit like summer sunscreen. One of my favorites, for sure! Hoping to snag a bottle someday.

Full bottle from around 2011! I remember really liking this, but haven't worn it in a while. In bottle: mostly grapefruit. On skin: for some reason a hint of mint is showing up? After a few hours: warm grapefruit; lavender is coming through nicely I love this scent a lot. It's light and beautiful!
