I had virtually no hesitation in purchasing a bottle of this, as every note is a winner for me pretty much 100% of the time, and I was not disappointed. It's just so pretty, I wish I had more descriptive things to say about it, but this is one of those scents that is just so achingly beautiful that the only accurate descriptor of my adoration for it is my eyes rolling to the back of my head as I let out a heavy sigh. It's slightly sweet, somewhat close to the skin. I primarily get the vanilla cream, apple and lavender from this; upon first application the apple is strongest, but as it settles the vanilla becomes more present, all the while the lavender (of the smooth, creamy variety) has a consistent supporting role, and in my opinion that's what really makes the scent so beautiful. It's not an overpowering lavender, it's just present enough to enhance the other notes beautifully. To me this is a very sensual, feminine and romantic scent, and it instantly became one of my top 3. Fades a bit faster than I would like, but that's the only drawback. Backup bottle-worthy.

Upon first application this is a very ripe, creamy vanilla-peach. At first I was a bit worried, as this started out being almost syrupy-sweet, but within a couple of minutes, it softens quite a bit and, doesn't feel cloying at all. Reminds me of warm vanilla ice cream melting over spiced peach pie. Close to the skin, but still vibrant and long-lasting. The peach and vanilla remain the dominant notes for me through the duration of wearing it. A gorgeous fruity and sweet blend, one of my favorite GC scents

This is beautiful, and very much what I want in an apple scent. On me it's a very juicy, slightly tart apple, softened and sweetened with a hint of vanilla cream, with a faint bit of teakwood in the background. It's a light scent with low throw - sticks very close to the skin. The patchouli is there, but it's very much in the background, and doesn't really register as patchouli to my nose upon first sniff. I'm also not getting much musk from this, but I find the predominant apple/vanilla cream/teakwood combination so delightful that I'm not bothered.

Pretty straightforward on my skin: somewhat sweet, incense-y beeswax, which is exactly what I was hoping for. It does have an almost crisp and cool quality to it, but it's very subtle. Much lighter and with less throw than I was expecting, but the softness of it turns out to be what I like most about it. A very pleasant and gentle scent, I'm glad I decided to get a bottle.

Third Charm is so beautiful, so magical, so perfect for me in every way, that I could cry. Absolutely in my top 5. We didn't get along right away, though. Straight out of the mailbox, it was all peculiar honey - kind of that sickly sweet, caught-in-the-back-of-your-throat sweetness that put me off quite a bit. I assumed that this would be one that would become much better when it settled/aged, but despite my knowing better, I tested it out the day after it arrived in my mailbox. After all, this was the '16 Weenie I was most looking forward to! Both freshly applied and dry, it remained a strong, sharp, sickly-sweet honey scent on my skin - with no trace of wood, incense, patchouli or musk, to my dismay. I kept revisiting it periodically with a curious and hopeful sniff in the bottle, but it was still that sickly sweet honey that just didn't agree with me. Defeated, I let it sit for about two months undisturbed. After letting it rest for those two months, I was almost ready to put it in the swap/sell pile, but with one final bit of hope, I decided to wear it again, for one final test. I am so glad I did, because a bit of aging was all this needed for it to fully become what I was hoping for all along; Honey is still the predominant note on me, but the sickly sweet honey is gone, now evolved into a beautiful, smooth, perfectly sweet but not-too-sweet honey, melding beautifully with heavy (but not overwhelming) incense notes, grounded and softened with a bit of earthy woods, a faint muskiness swirling around it perfectly. This has now become the scent of my dreams, and one I will definitely be wanting a backup bottle of.

I received Oblivion as a frimp in my first ever BPAL order, and it immediately became, and has remained, one of my favorite GC scents. It's a bit hard to describe without falling back on the "vibes" it gives me; It's dark, warm, cozy, spicy, with something slightly creamy about it - almost verging on foodie. It's very sexy, in a dark, mysterious, yet very comforting sort of way. This is my go-to oil when I want to feel relaxed, it's like the scent equivalent of being inside on a rainy fall day, wrapped in a warm blanket. Lasts all day on my skin. Nothing short of gorgeous.

This turned out to be nothing like what I was expecting. Unfortunately, I'm not getting anything smokey or boozy at all, as I had hoped - on my skin I interpret it almost entirely as ultra-sugary, marshmallow-y candy dust, although it does have a very slight, cool, "crisp autumn air" muskiness lingering in the background. There's also a very slight "green" aspect to this scent to me, something akin to a waft of green grass, that my nose seems to keep insisting is there. For me, there isn't anything that balances the extreme sugary-sweetness of this scent, something I find to be both pleasant and a bit too much, at times. I enjoy it for what it is, but it's not a full-on winner for me.
