the hellboy bottles make me wish even more than usual, that i wasn't allergic to bpal

awwww the stinky bottle!!!

Almost all bpal now makes my hands to break out in allergic dermatitis I tested my newest chaos on my arm away from my right hand that is always affected worse and within 15mins i was itching and inflamed. Some notes are worse than others, i can't wear any snake oil. The really sweet ones seem to make me react more as well. There was a gorgeous sweet pear halloweenie a couple years ago that i loved but was particularly bad.. Pretty much my whole collection has to go, I can't help but think it must be a base used in the oils or something because i can't just be that broadly allergic. I have no other allergies except nickle. Right now two fingers on my right hand a badly swollen, itchy and blistered. It will continue to spread for a few days after i use it then stop. It's very painful and sensitive and it's so sad So far i havent had reactions from any of the other etailers i have tried, even those blends that are heavy with the usual allergins like cinnamon i have no probs with.... NA, Arcana, Possets, Villaness, Lush are all fine..

/beats the red musk back into the bottle in the bottle this smells just like my Trick #2 ok now that that is over.... The black musk and Rooibos notes start to peak out next. I always associate roobios as being cool because i always drink it as iced tea so that's how this smells to me. The mango slowly comes out as well and never becomes overwhelmingly fruity. This one has alot of throw, i can wear it to bed and still smell it in the morning. It has a gorgeous soft dry down with the black musk fading down even more leaving an enticing skin scent. My man's favourite of the lot..

I Love This.. Definate gingerbread but it's more like the taste or a not quite cooked cookie as you bite into it, not that crisp baked smell. The musk also makes it smell 'gooey' and is almost a softer blackish musk, my favourite! Not animalistic musk like civet but still dark and strong. The spicey fruit edge to it is delicious and just makes it better. Rum note doesn't go too sharp either so it's perfect. Wish i would have got another bottle

mmm carnation.. A note i never would have picked as liking and yet, its gorgeous. This is soft creamy strawberry to me. The cake note is there as well and the carnation is more apparent in the dry down. After the soft wear length of the strawberry in Beaver 07 i was a bit worried about this one, but i had no reason to be, the wear length is great. In terms of notes the closest thing i have to this one is Monsterbait closet, although this is nowhere as 'syrupy'. Floating brain is everything i hoped it would be an i'm very happy to have 2 bottles!

2008 This is gorgeous I one of the foodiest bpal's that i have tried. I get lots of comments on this when i wear it. Also has a hint of melting brown sugar to it. The buttery-ness of it does die down and leaves you smelling delicious. Very glad i bought a bottle, i might even pick up a backup

Everybodies OMGLAVENDERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR reviews scared me!!! yes i can smell it in the bottle but it doesn't seem to me lie the lavender of dooom that everyone says..Still i hate lavender so i was a bit worried and waiting about a week to test Lilith... Big mistake!! Yummm!!!!!! most prominent for me is the Dorian, the lavender is there in the background and i can lightly sniff snake oil slithering around in there. The vanilla flower is gorgeous like in Black Lace and it is such a gorgeous almost 'perfumey' note. Very impressed and the wear length is fantastic!

Hmm i hardly get rose at all...Even the green isn't over powering at all.. I get soft sweet blackberry with a nice unassuming background. The rose serves as a bit of a balance but you can hardly even pick it as rose IMO. I love this scent but it is a bit too soft and i wish it didn't fade so fast..

Yum!!! This has that same yummy cake note as eat me! The soft orange is just lovely and i'm very impressed because i ussually hate citrus. This is so soft that it's almost creamy but not the slightest bit powdery.This is so sweet and soft and i just can't stop sniffing myself. I don't get 'buttery" or "floral" at all. This one doesn't have alot of throw but the wear length is decent and it's a beautiful skin scent. If you like foody definately give it a go! Backup needed

Count me in as a hardcore fan of this one! Easily goes into my top 10 Bpal Gorgeous rich coconut, with a sweet lemon to it as well. The lemon overpowers a tiny bit at first but fades down as the musk comes out. The black musk is NOTHING like civet musk (which i also LOVE). The throw and wear length on this is alot stronger than alot of my other oils. Very easily unisex No powder, no cleaning products just I am so glad I got 2 bottles of this one as I am going through it so fast that it isn't funny!

No honeysuckle for me but no over powering jasmine either! very aquatic and salty! almost 'the phoenix like" the scent itself is very soft and It makes me think of swimming in the salty ocean then falling asleep in a soft clean sheeted bed with the sun setting on you and warming it all... I will be keeping my bottle but i think i can let some of it go as decants as it isn't "wild" enough for me

yay coconut!!!!!!!!!!! mmmmmm! i nearly didn't buy this one because of the lilac but luckily i have no problems with it overtaking the scent. I love the coconut note that bpal does so much, this one is different to the black coconut note that i love even more but still just lovely. Like everyone else I don't get much tobacco but the scent is nice enough that i can deal with that

I love this! mmmmmmmmmm Black musk! Not civet-y like debachery but still thick and delicious.. The lime is nice and doesn't make it too 'sharp' at all. Gin is keeping its distance which is just fine with me but i am hoping the tabacco will come out more on the dry down.. yum!

I so nearly passed on ordering this one as the florals were scaring me.... But i am sooooooo glad that i didn't! Gorgeous and sweet but also soft and not too typical floral at all. My Bf loves this scent, he says it smells like something from his childhood that he can't pick. Stays very true to bottle scent for me and never goes tangy or sharp at all. Gorgeous, but not as lovely as her man.....

I have started reacting to some of my BPAL lately... I have a dermatis on my hand that comes from sentitising to beer form working in a pub.. But now random things make it worse even if i don't get it on the skin near my hand. Perilous Parlor is my first confirmed so it has to go...

This is amazing The musk in this is so sweet and soft. I swear i can smell the same black coconut note i love so much in snake charmer.. It is very close to the skin and has hardly any throw It does start off with a hint of lemon but that dies on my skin so quickly that i forget its there. The musk is very prominent when its wet but isn't like any other musks i have smelled.. It has an almost civet like bite of sexiness but without the languid thickness of civet. I don't get much in the way of herbals in this one but i can smell some slight 'green-ness" to it.. I can't stop smelling this it is so gorgeous. So So sad i dont' have a bottle of this...
