    Harlot

This was one of the first imps added to the cart of my first order. I was so very excited. It's not a BAD smell. But it does go very powdery on me. so after a few minutes of dry down I have powdery old fashioned rose and cinnamon bear smell. Not really what I expected. I don't hate it, but I don't find myself reaching for it very much at all.

    Defututa

This one did not work for me at all. Wet on my skin was a confusion of vanilla and floral not so bad, but then it dried and even though vanilla and I are good friends, she left me alone with Jasmine. The kind of jasmin that smacks around my olfactory and refuses to leave. I'll have to do some experimenting to see if other jasmine smells do this. I will attempt to age this and see if the vanilla gains some better footing.

    Spider

Ah, spider. I adore this, it could be unisex but I think it smells better on the husband than on myself. I get citrusy clean smell, but its grounded by the vetiver and nutmeg. It's clean and light and I'm sticking it in the pile of keepers.

    The Ifrit

I got this in a decant circle and originally thought it would be PERFECT for my husband. Every time I place an order I ask if he wants something and he says " something that smells like the desert". when this arrived I slapped some on my own wrist and right way I could smell the dry airy sandy smell, and something sweet, ginger, pepper. Then the spices settled and the dragons blood came through. I LOVE this, I really really do. My husband likes it on me, but it is not his desert smell. so we're still searching for that Oh well, More Ifrit for me It is on my list of full bottles I need

    Bewitched

I blind bought a full size of Bewtiched, and I am not sorry at all. blueberry/sage was my go to summer scent way back in the day and this blackberry is pretty close. I have to agree the berries aren't as bold in the bottle as they are on the skin. This is fantastic. The musk balances with the sweetness of the berries and sageyness of the sage I especially love this one layered with Baba yaga Wet: mostly sage with a sweet/sour berry note on the skin: berries rush to the forefront while the musk sandwhiches the sage in there just right dry: Still fabulously multilayered fades: the sage and berry fade slowly but they seem to fade at a similar rate. if you aren't paying attention you go from a 3 layered smell to a faded rich musk I will have to get a backup of this soon to see how it ages

    Delirium

I loved the idea of this one but I don't think it loved the idea of me. It smelled like a blend of cleaners on me. Like bleach and the bitter pith of lemon rind. I never got any of the rose I was so excited for. It fades into a soapy sort of bitter smell. Sadly Delirium is not for me. Luckily I have a good friend who seems to like it just fine so it will hopefully get some love there.

    Morgause

The florals are too heavy for me to wear this one in the daytime, but it is PERFECT to dab on the wrists into the evening hours. A bit of a heady complexity that really does something nice on my skin. I almost didn't try this one because it smelled a tad old lady floral out of the imp but I am so very glad I took the chance on this one because it's actually quite sexy in it's own way.

    Le Serpent Qui Danse

This is the perfect balance of floral and sweet on my skin. I'm not familiar enough with the different florals to tell the difference between the violet and the gardenia but they are there in the forefront for the first little bit of wear. With vanilla sitting in the background waiting patiently. It's a nice warm vanilla which is becoming one of my favorite things. The floral notes do disappear fast. so much so that I made the mistake of slathering a bunch on after my morning break and ended up sneezing a bit in my own perfume cloud. I'm going to try this one in a scent locket next time and see if that changes things. I love this one it's on my list of full bottle wants.

    Mania

I was intimidated at first by the description " Screeching white musk" I like musk, but not screeching. I am so glad I gave this a try. As many others have said it is fruity and sweet but light. Wet is very sugary, citrus and strawberry. I'm glad it wasn't bubblegum on my skin! It dries down and the musks start to creep in, but they never did go all out screeching, they were just there in a delightfully subtle way. Decent throw, I've been wearing BPAL for a few weeks now and this is the first time coworkers have commented. I had a male coworker say " woah! what is that? it reminds me of something from back in the day" Coworker 2 chimed in agreement, neither could figure out what it reminded them of but both agreed it was a nice smell and that they only picked up on it as I walked past in the morning. While I wont be rushing out to get a full size bottle of this anytime soon, it may move into the box of favorite imps.
