At first, I didn't really like this one. It smelled very sweet-foodie in the bottle, like a coconut macaron. Very heavy on the marzipan, lighter on the floral notes. My mistake was sniffing all my new imps in the same sitting. When I tried this on by itself a few days later after a shower, my opinion on it totally changed. It starts out sweet and nutty, with the coconut and almond coming through the most, with a really light but sharp green floral in the background. As it dries, the honey comes out and brings out some really nice spicy notes, also toning down the marzipan smell a lot. Even though the name evokes a garden, I think this would be a really awesome winter scent. It's warm, sweet, comforting, slightly spicy, and very feminine.

I was lucky to snag this from a friend who didn't like it, and since it's discontinued I will be using it very very sparingly. To me, this smells exactly like creme brulee. Wet in the bottle, it's a sophisticated vanilla with a hint of sasafrass/root beer (but not in a gross soda way, in more of a nice spicy herbal way). Wet on the skin, the custard really comes out, and it seems to stick around while it dries. Eventually it ends up as a soft custardy vanilla, not overly sweet, with a slight sexy herbal undertone.

I actually purchased this scent for someone who loves spicy scents, but I may just keep it for myself and give them something more spicy. In the bottle, I mostly smell sweet sandalwood. The spices are really toned down to me, in fact I would consider this one of the least spicy perfumes I have tried from BPAL. That being said, I really love it! It dries down into a lovely, smooth, warm amber scent. To me, it feels quite wintery so I probably won't be using it much this summer, but I'm excited to wear it more in the colder months. My only gripe with this scent is that it doesn't seem to last very long. After about 1 hour of sitting at my desk, I can't smell it anymore. If I'm out walking around or exercising, it disappears almost immediately. I don't mind re-applying throughout the day though, it makes me feel very luxurious.

This is my first review, and Alice was the scent I was most excited to try from my first order! I love to drink earl grey tea with milk and honey, so I was really hoping that the milk, honey and bergamot notes would be the strongest in this scent. Unfortunately, I don't really get any bergamot except maybe if I sniff the actual bottle really hard. On my skin, the honey and rose are definitely the most dominant notes. Together they do smell a bit powdery, but I kind of like it (I'm not afraid to smell like an old lady, but other people may want to steer clear of this if you don't like soapy rose scents). After an hour or so, the powdery-ness mellows out to a nice light, sweet floral. I will definitely keep wearing it throughout the summer, and the added bonus of being reminded of Alice in Wonderland every time makes it more fun
