Insatiable lust, unending vigor! A truly carnal, energetic men’s blend: vanilla and amber with juniper, rosewood and white pine. At first this was ALL pine and rosewood. But after drying down the musk and vanilla come out and it's beautiful! The woods are what make it masculine so after drydown it fems up a bit, kind of like a crossdresser. It's gorgeous and simple and elegant. I hated this the first time I tried it, but I'm glad I retried it when I got it as a giftie from the lab.

Very clean, straight-laced feeling scent. I get the amber, but mostly the lavendar and carnation. It borders on masculine, just barely hopping over the line to it. It's strong, it's clear headed and somber. I really like this, although I didn't for the first minute or so that I had it on.

I haven't used this to sleep, just as a fragrance. Very astringenty, and almost cedar-like. I feel like I'm breathing in thick fog or smoke when I put my nose to my skin. It's kind of choking and it overpowers anything else I may have on. I don't like this one.

This is very pretty. To me it's sweet, but a vanilla-sweet. I love the florals and the linen notes. I don't get m uch of the mosses, or maybe I'm just bad at identifying them. This is gorgeous, wispy and light.

First thought: DIRT. Once I reach beyond the dirt I get the wine, which is juicy and ripe smelling and a bit fherbs behind that. It's a crypt, it's the romanticized graveyard. It's kind of sexy in all the wrong ways. I'm not sure if I like this or not. I'll wear it to work tonight and decide. Okay so after wearing this all through work, I actually like it. The dirt fades and it passes and once it does it just lingers in the background, like a girl hiding in the bathroom of a party. You know she's there somewhere, but you don't notice her much until you look for her. Otherwise it's this twisted slightly juicy slightly dry wine taste. It definitely had to grow on me and I almost put it up for sale tonight, but no, it will be staying with me.

I love anise, as a food, but as a scent it makes this turn into a combination of coca cola and cherry cough syrup. I thought for sure i'd love this, I'm a cherry freak, really. But no, looks like not. So so sad. It just smells so medicinal on me.
-
Cedar's actually not overpowering for once, but it's still in the forefront, along with the sandalwood. What is it with me and wood? I don't like the wood but apparently it loves to hang out with me. Sadly, ALL I'm getting is wood. now my thing.
-
This is ALL rose, and no spice on me. SO sad, I really like spice. Where'd my spice go?
-
Wet this is mostly lavendar, but on it's mostly honeysuckle backed by jasmine. It's soft, sweet, very girly. It's a beautiful light purple scent of the twilight. Gorgeous.

This was a giftie in my last order. And do I love it! It was on my wishlist, but who knows when I would have gotten to it! It's mostly clove with what I think is the mimosa right behind it, but I'm not sure what mimosa smells like, and this juicy sweet smell hangs out in the background. A definite keeper!

Hello berry! This is juicy, sweet, all plums and berries, if there's anything else in this I wouldn't know. It reminds me of Midwinter's Eve, the simplified, grownup version. And it's damn sexy. It makes me dance in my seat with anticipation. It's seductive. This is a gorgeous woman coming up to you in the bar and saying "I want to make you scream my name until your throat hurts." This is a dominant, dirty, sexual woman on the prowl and she's found you and you are all that will satisfy her desires tonight. She will have you, you can yeild or put up a fight, but she may prefer the latter.

This is sweet in a very tainted way. Like defiled innocence. It's pretty in a wicked way. It's not me. I think it's the violet that overpowers, that seduces and destroys. It's interesting, but not one I'd wear.

Hello coffee ice cream! It's creamy and thick, but it's all coffee, with maybe a touch of cocoa thrown in for good measure. The rum is in there, somewhere, but it's hiding in the background, probably up to no good. Rum slinks in the shadows while cocoa starts doing cartwheels around the coffee scent. It's kind of playful in a grownup way. This is definitely a lounging around with friends scent. Don't think I'd buy a bottle, but I'll keep the imp around.

Also got that cherry/almond....but the soft musks and the spices, oh the spices. Cardamom comes out to play too. This is the sexiness of a sophisticated older woman. It's the golden gleam of the deset in the noon sun. It makes me feel slinky, like a golden kitty cat, lounging in the sun, saying "come serve me, you know you want to." It makes me feel decadent and regal and elegent and gorgeous. This is a gold scent, it's luxurious and no description of the how the scents intermingle will do it justice, not coming from me anyway.

I don't know half the notes in this to try to pick any out accurately except the lavendar which stays fairly tame throughout. Wilde isn't too masculine, not on me. It's soft, breezy, crisp and white. It's intoxicating, the way a beautiful man will catch your eye and you end up staring without meaning to. It's the grace in a cat's walk, and that stalking look in a man's eye when he sees something he wants. That is what Wilde is on me.

Oh this is beautiful. A soft, delicate scent. I mostly get the floral notes, backed by the musk with the spices dancing along everything, caressing it down. Any tartness I had (since caitfish mentions it) fades after a minute or two and it's just lovely after that. It's soft and floral and man am I in love with soft and white musks lately.

Why does this smell like myrrh on me? Maybe it's the peony or laurel? I don't know what they smell like either. The lily and the pepper try to fight to be heard, but to no avail. So sad, I do adore lily. I get a bit of wood, but mostly this smells like myrrh on me...something else did that to me too, don't quite remember what at the moment, I don't think it had myrrh in it either. hmm. Oh well... I really wanted to love this one, too.

I originally posted this on the LJ This is SO pretty, I'm in love! I thought it would be a bit more neutral, but on me it's rather feminine and pretty. I get a love of the musk at first. And now I am sure that I DO love white musk. (I can't do the darker ones.) I never got any herbs from this, but then again I don't know what herbs Beth used and thus what I should be looking for. The floral scents and the musk seem to be racing with one pulling out ahead and then the other moving past it to take the lead. The floral scents are light, wispy, and gentle. Never very sweet and definitely not cloying. Further and further I get into the scent the more floral and less musky it becomes. The floral doesn't get stronger so much as the musk just fades sooner. Six and a half hours later it's still on there, not very strong, but very easily smelled when you get close to the skin. I adore this!

I agree with isyche, wanda's punk little sister. The rose and leather mix so well that I don't really pick one out over the other unless I search for it. it's this sweet, deep, sexy, throbbing scent, definitely brings about some naughty thoughts of the less than vanilla variety. I guess it does it's job well then.

Whip was rather sweet. It has rose in it, but I didn't catch much rose. It's a very pretty scent actually.

You may like the high priestess, i don't totally remember what it smelled like, but it was deep i remember. on me at least it was. deep, kind of dark, rather serious...but I did give it away, you may want to ask someone else what it smells like.

The spruce stays in the background and I am SO grateful for that! It stays there and never demands a time in the sun. The musk is layered just over the spruce, calming, glittering and cold. Next is the fruit but I can't distinguish anything specific, but the flwoers, oh the flowers are on top and the bring out some of the spruce but maintain this as a cold floral scent which I love. I so wanted one of those winter goddesses to love me, and this one does!

Very ozone/aquatic at first and then here comes this rampaging green almost piney scent, with a little cedariness thrown in. Man oh man is this all sharp and green and forest on me. Off to a new home you go!
-
Oh...cinnamon berries with a hint of pine in the background. How gorgeous you are in the bottle and on my skin for about five minutes. But that slightly soapy pine scent that was in the background comes right up front and spits in my face saying "RECOGNIZE ME BITCH!" And thus I do and he still stays there with me sniffing as hard as I can only to get the slight scent of that beautiful cinnamon berry scent. And thus I smell like slightly beautiful soap. But mostly I just smell of soap. Another one that is now on it's way to a new home.

I got not aquatics on this one. Glittering grapefruit, fresh, clean, almost lineny sometimes. It's gorgeous and shimmering in the light with her head held high because she KNOWS that she's DAMN FINE! I'm a big fan. And man does this oil LAST! It was just as strong as initially for hours upon hours. Adoration!
