Thanks everyone for the suggestions! I'll have to look into getting a bunch of imps and maybe a 5 ml for her birthday...maybe give her a jewelry box for Christmas that she can store these in later. Well, seeing as how said-14-year-old is also Mormon...I doubt my parents would be very happy with sultry, haha.

I'm trying to figure out what to get one of my sisters for a Christmas or birthday present. She's turning 14 in early February and said that one of her favorite smells is Vanilla, but in everything I looked at that has vanilla in it, the scents ended up focusing mainly on the other notes or seeming a bit too sultry from an eighth grader. Any suggestions?

When I first put this scent on, the metallic tang of it made my mouth water. Not in an "Mmm, I want to eat that!" kind of way...more like the reaction you get when you put a metal fork in your mouth after it scraped against the side of a pot. An involuntary not-quite pleasant feeling. However, when I woke up in the morning, it had mellowed out into an almost floral scent on me, which was absolutely lovely. I'll have to try this again - maybe it will work better in my locket than against my skin?

I absolutely LOVE this scent! In the bottle, it smelled very much like a melted cocolate bar to me...enough so that I almost didn't put it on. But now...well, my boyfriend is laughing at me because I keep sniffing myself and I told him I want to lick my arm. This also makes me feel all warm and snuggly =)

In the bottle, this smelled strongly like dirt, with barely a hint of pine. The patchouli was trying to sneak its way as well - and patchouli and I hardly get along. Wet on me, this was a flash of pine with a touch of dirt...and then it morphed into this gorgeous warm almost-honeyed scent (even though there's no honey in this). After about an hour, it decided to cling to my skin a bit closer...but it was COMPLETELY gorgeous. I wore it in my scent locket too, just to see the sifference - in the locket, it was warm apples with delicious seasonings. Much to my boyfriend's displeasure, I got a tiny bit on his arm...and luckily for him, it's this gorgeous outdoorsy scent. It smells like he took a nap in some rich soil under a pine tree - I probably didn't describe it right, but it's really sexy on him. All in all - this is an intoxicating sexy scent that feels like drinking cider while cuddling up on the deck on a cabin in the middle of a pine forest. I hope this is released again next year so I can buy it then too!

I just got this today, along with a couple of other scents, and I love it! In the bottle, it's smells like a dusty orange peel - kind of like when I would leave the peels from my clementines in my bedroom, just to make it smell better. Wet, I got a waft of sunflowers and orange, which quickly became a mingled scent of Dragon's Blood and the Red Musk. This one dries very quickly on me. I think that it lasts a fairly long time, but I can't tell - Dragon's Blood and any kind of Musk have a tendency to smell just very very natural on my skin. All in all, this scent is pretty soothing for me. It smells warm - but not the kind of warm you want in the winter, more like something that's been languishing in the sun. It's almost a drowsy warmth. Now I wish I'd bought 2 bottles =/

On me, this one started off smelling almost like cigarette smoke, with very very slight hints of vanilla and cedar. After about 5 minutes, it calmed down to something a bit more like smoky wood, but without much else. Now, after about 30 minutes, I can smell a tiny bit of sassafras I put some on my boyfriend, and it immediately smelled like fresh cedar. During the drydown, it gained a slight touch of vanilla. It smells pretty good both on it, but I think the scents are reversed. I wish it smelled on me like it does on him, and if it smelled on him like it does on me, I'd totally jump him. Who know though, maybe it'll keep shifting around too. Definitely keeping this one though - I can sneak it onto him if nothing else

I just got this one in the mail today. I like it, it's kind of perky and fun. However, right now, it smells like potpourri and gumdrops. Could just be that I put on too much, or perhaps I'm not wearing it in the right circumstances. In any case, I still love the scent. I'll find SOME way to wear it!
