Hi friends! Our monthly merriment meetup in L.A. is tomorrow. Besides all the fun we have planned, including your opportunity to sample just about every perfume, hair gloss, and potion we've ever concocted, we'll answer this question: What happens when dried roses, rose leaf, Spanish moss, oakmoss, and deep brown earth are dusted with the season's signature olfactory sensation (for consumers of cappuccino, cheesecake, and candles, anyway)? Come and get your PUMPKIN SPICE ZOMBI ($24), a limited edition, only at L.A. October BOO-nacy. We hope to see you! Friday, October 20, 6 to 9 p.m. It's at the lab 12120 Sherman Way North Hollywood, California 91605

BPALNewsWire posted a topic in Announcements
Hi everyone! We have donated a coffinload of perfume oil blends, hair glosses, and atmosphere sprays to the silent auction for the Safe Haven Medical Outreach Fundraising Gala on October 21 in LA. It's a $399 value, packed with a bunch of 2017 Weenies, plus treats from the Dog Days of Summer collection, and more. (You'll fnd a pic on our Facebook.) You have to be there to bid--unless send a gala fairy. You get drinks and appetizers *and* you support medical outreach to kids and families in Cambodia. That's a worthy cause. -
Hi everyone! The Dog Days of Summer hair glosses got a great review from We Heart This--it's also a good read, complete with really cute, never seen before, dog pictures! Our ode to the very special dogs of our lives inspired our reviewer to reminisce about the dogs of her life. In case you missed it you can find the collection here, at Black Phoenix Trading Post. Sales benefit the Pasadena Humane Society. That's all for now.

Hi everyone! Today marks the fifth anniversary of Laika’s release of ParaNorman, the stop-motion wonder adored by kids, adult, ghosts, dogs, and zombies everywhere. Here’s a little ParaNorman fun for those of you on Facebook or Twitter. We’re celebrating this august event with a little ParaNorman trivia from IMDB: This was the final film of the legendary Elaine Stritch, who passed away on July 17, 2014. Laika used 3D printers to generate all of the different faces needed for the characters. The story is set in the town of Blithe Hollow, whose name is a mash-up of two other ghost stories: Noël Coward’s Blithe Spirit and Washington Irving’s The Legend of Sleepy Hollow. Not that you need one, but you now have a wonderful excuse to revisit BPAL’s fragrant tribute to this favorite film, in 10 quirky, sweetly animated scents.
