    Spinning on Graves

Weird! In the bottle, super sweet grass with a sharp and sweet edge. On the skin... oooooh ok now I smell a bit of clove and the grass mellows out. still sweet. After about 20 mins, WOW! What a morpher. It's delicious. I really don't detect much lavender. It's like sweet grass, Dorian and a smidge of warmth from the clove that is not obviously clove. A sweeter, daintier version of Dorian V2 that I am loving.

Dalliance with an Amorous Bat Demon

Fresh out the mail from a lovely facebook sales madness member. This is a really beautiful, honeyed, woodsy patchouli. Not really as dark as the notes would have you believe. It's definitely got that sweet patchouli vibe of Silky Bat or RR, but with honey. Loving that. The honey is this is much less sharp than Owl Moon, which is what kept me from this in my original Luper order. This is probably something I would wear year-round, and deserves a backup bottle in my stash. The resins are beautiful, honey is smooth, and the sandalwood did not turn this to powder to me. WIN!

Smite All Thy Borders with Frogges

Blind bottled this from Etsy. FUN! I've always wanted a tomato leaf scent. While it doesn't smell like tomato leaf, it does smell like a super green, wet garden. More of a masculine vibe... musky but freshened up with the cucumber. Super green, mossy and musky with a bright finish.

    Jiggery Pokery

Strawberries? I suppose it's the same cotton candy note with the strawberries, cotton candy and lime zest, so that's almost exactly what it smells like but more wearable and less candy. I really enjoyed this, more than I thought I would! Great summer scent for a hot day, as it's light and well blended. Very nice blend that I may need a bottle of so I can slather away. It's got a pretty low throw and staying power, but that is fine for me 80+ degree weather.

    On Imagination

The amber and honey in this are so perfect. It is an uplifting scent, reminds me a bit of the recent Milk Moon, and the Coconut in the smoked vanilla and fig trio but with amber. I did not expect to love this, and I really really love this. Beautiful scent for a summer night.

    Occultation

I received this as a frimp and did not check reviews or notes before testing. So glad I didn’t, as I probably would have hesitated to test it due to the notes. I do love moss and patchouli, but I never know what oudh will do or how indolic it will be. It’s not as dark of a scent as I had thought it would be by just glancing at the notes! It takes a turn from cool and bright to a bit warmer once the myrrh has time on the skin. Really nice! After an hour I can’t really pick out single notes, which is fine with me, as it’s a gorgeous blend.

    Ask The Nearest Hippie

Came in the mail yesterday, but I can't wait any longer. Woo! This is awesome. Dry and earthy patchouli, more dried smoky herbal middle with a touch of sweetness. Definitely a more woodsy patch. If you like BB/RR, this could work for your fix, but be warned, not the same and not as creamy/sweet. This will age well and I think it calls for a back up.

Kabe Ni Mimi Ga Aru, Shoki Ni Me Ga Aru

WOW. This is delicious. Wet, it's kind of nutty and a funky vanilla ice cream thing. The woodiness comes out as it starts to dry, maintaining a slightly nutty, creamy but somehow not totally foodie scent. I suppose that's the sandalwood and copal keeping the sweetness on its toes. Very glad I blind bottled this.

    Beelzebub

Clove, white pepper, a smidge of sulfuric musk. Truly badass and would recommend for those who love clove. This has a very intense and awakening effect on me. As it dries, it gets a bit more musky and more smooth. I would wear this dancing around a bonfire or while hexing tRuMp. 😁

    The Drunkard’s Dream

I really like this! I definitely thought it would be a darker vibe, but it is still otherworldly and pulls me to some strange place in my head. I think this would be great for summer, as it's not cloying and couldn't be. Could be a good one to layer, too? There's very tart berry, moss, and a fizzy quality that's actually reminding me of a really nice cocktail.

    Black Bar

I blind bottled this due to the "dark" comments, which it is! Kind of an evil vibe, which I love. It's really purple/citrus/patchouli.

    Ghost Revelry

This was my first Etsy purchase and it came in today. I could not resist testing longer than a few hours but DANG! Something about this is very familiar. Oddly, I love this. It's much more feminine than I generally gravitate towards but nostalgic and beautiful flowers that has an almost resurrected AL vibe to it. It's very "sweet" but not foody. Very ethereal white floral. Loving the moonflower in this for sure. If you like AL or Zor.ya P., get yourself a bottle!

    Frostbitten TKO

My Frostbitten TKO arrived from the lab today, so this may even get better!? WOO! I was very nervous about this blind bottle purchase, but I love me some Frostbitten scents, and this has quickly skyrocketed to one of my favorite Frostbitten scents (along with SO and D.orian). I don't really love lavender, but I love the FB note even though I don't like snow white on my skin solo. So odd how that works. This is giving me cotton phoenix vibes, I think because this has a floofy almond sweet thing going on that my skin loves and blends so nicely with the lavender. There have been a few bottles I wanted to love, but never reached for because the lavender took over, so much so they went to the swap pile. I've never had any strictly bed time scent, but this could definitely be one. It would also be a great winter scent any time of day, as the lavender isn't the main note here. For some reason, none of the frostbitten series read as mint to me, while it seems to do so for others. TLDR- sweet, cold, creamy without being foodie, floral and comforting. Glad I got a bottle!

    Frostbitten Snake Oil

This works better on my skin than original SO. I've tried Snow White alone, and it was not for me, but the two together just works wonderful with my chemistry. The wear is very long, and sometimes I can even smell it into the next day. It's like a goth Snow White. Easily one of my favorites and I can't believe I never reviewed this! My bottle has been aged, but I have to say the backup I have is just as good, so for the aging aspect, not needed at least in my experience.

    Milk Moon 2020

Sweet, creamy and lightly fruity. You can absolutely detect the fig, but it's not the main event. The honey warms up with the skin and it's comforting and beautiful at every stage. This is somewhere between a yule and shunga scent for me, if that makes sense? I will be ordering a bottle of this, maybe two!

    Gardenia, Tobacco Leaf & Oakmoss

This is super pretty. At first, I was afraid this would take me to headache territory. After 10 minutes, I can see that's not the case! Yay! The oakmoss keeps the gardenia from being too overpowering. As it dries, tobacco peeks out and it just gets smoother. It's evocative of that Michael Kors gardenia fragrance but more well rounded and it's just beautiful. May be grabbing a bottle, as I don't have anything with gardenia in my collection and I can't see anything being so gardenia forward and as lovely as this.

    Revenant Rhythm

I've never tried BB so I can't compare to the OG. I was on the waitlist back when this came available in September, and I had zero funds so I missed out. Only later did I find out it's the same thing and definitely was knocking myself even more for not making that happen. Recently joined the FB Sales page and stumbled upon someone selling a few decants along with RR HG, and I was hooked and was lucky enough to find an unloved bottle! In the bottle, it's a perfect patchouli with creamy mint. Wet on the skin, it sweetens and the vanilla immediately takes over. After about 15 minutes it just gets better and the patchouli is just the most beautiful I've ever come across. It stays for over 8 hours and even after washing with soap it is STILL there. I love this so much. It actually has jumped in front of Silky Bat for me as my daily go-to as a sweet and earthy blend that is right up my alley! That says A LOT. I'll be hunting for more of this.

    Tea Roses and Lace

In the bottle, it's creamy vanilla tobacco that take the stage. On my skin, it changes to a dusty rose in black tea. I don't know if it agrees with my chemistry, after trying it a few times newly decanted last year and again today. After about ten minutes on the skin, the tobacco is still there and now the bit of chocolate. If I was to blind smell this, I would have no idea the notes besides florals, as it ends up blending together so seamlessly. Definitely lacey and very pretty overall.

    Queen Mab's Lace

someone stated this is like Swans on the River and I totally agree. I have a decant that I love and have been rationing ever so carefully as I haven't been able to find a bottle. Queen Mab's lace is even better! It has the fresh cut stems or grass, honeysuckle that I was looking for but the vanilla, amber and musk seem to give this more sillage and I am just so pleased with it at every stage. So glad I have a bottle of this one and will probably be grabbing this a lot over the next few months. Such a lovely floral blend!

    Vampire Lace

When I first opened the bottle, I was like Nooooo it smells like feet! Haha! I gave it a few months, and now I can smell the different notes without being blasted. I think age will be great for this one, as I can now pick out the tobacco behind the musk. It smells so much better on the skin. Definitely not for the faint of heart, but hey, I'm self isolating and it's been about 3 weeks of this, so now I can REALLY try on all the ones I'm on the fence about. More soon!

    Couple Reading Erotic Scroll

I did not expect to love this as much as I do, not being a huge foody and all! I smelled this and salivated and immediately put a bottle in my cart. Very juicy, berries with a nice creamy base to it. I really get no bergamot here, which I was indifferent about. I tried this on yesterday, and the wear was impressive. The throw was also surprisingly strong on me, but would still say was medium. JUST WOW! This is a blackberry blend for the history books.

    The Madam

This reminds me of a brighter Lorraine Cross from the Bloodmilk collab. It's missing the frankincense, but still has some kind of incense to it. It's a very pretty rose and wood blend, and I could see this being a rose person's go to! Glad I tried it, but a decant is enough for me.

The Snipe's Beak Trapped in a Clam Shell

This is a really pretty floral blend, which almost leans to a cologne I think because of the musk and ambrette seed. It's lovely, and I'm glad I tried this out. This seems to sweeten with wear and leaves a really pretty white floral, vanilla scent with a smidge of grounding patch. LOVE.

There Is No Bliss Like This

This is a sweet, clove and cinnamon forward blend. I thought it would be a tiny bit of cinnamon to warm it up some, but I must say this is extra warm. I feel like this could have been a yule, save the carnation which peeks out when it dries down. No vanilla here, after trying for two subsequent days, and really at any stage. If you like cloves, try this. Unfortunately, the cinnamon is just too dominant for me. Into swaps with ye.

    Black Fig & Cherry

This is juicy, sweet with a little tartness from the cherry. It's a very fig forward smell and dries down beautifully. I wish it stayed longer! I would say my skin ate this one up. Light to Medium throw, but lasted about 3 hours. If this were a hair gloss, I'd be so down. Hint hint, lab! One month later... I used my whole decant. I have a lot of decants, so to go through one in a month means it's pretty dang good. Upgraded to a bottle. This will be great for layering. So yummy!
