All I seem to get from The Isle of the Dead is yew, black rose, and the aquatic notes. It's interesting, but I think it needs to age a bit.
-
On me, Fox-Woman is cherry blossom, wisteria, and jasmine over tea. I love it, I just wish the flowers were stronger.
-
On me, Lucretia is just violet and iris. It's nice but not what I'm looking for, so I'll pass it on.
-
In the imp, I get just the green stems. On my skin, it's that plus the mandarin, neroli, and citrus peel over the musk. This is neutral and very nice.

... His ofrenda is the scent of the lightless deep: the glorious, unknowable gloom of the ocean floor. On me, Olokun is a salty aquatic and green scent. It's nicer than I was expecting, but more for the warmer months.
-
Wet on my skin, Masabakes starts out as black currant and myrrh. The mimosa lightens things up as it dries, and I think there's the mandrake dust coming through now that it's fully dry. I was expecting it to be darker, but I do like it.

Wet on my skin, Nemesis is all red patchouli. As it dries, the rose and what I think is the cyclamen start to come through. This is nice, but I was really hoping for the cypress. I'll age this and see if it comes out.

My office is celebrating Halloween today (too many people taking tomorrow off), so I'm dressed as Morticia Addams and wearing Crypt Queen. :-)
-
Wet on my skin, Event Horizon is the opium, orchid, and benzoin. Kinda light and hazy. As it dries, what I'm guessing is the labdanum and opoponax come through. It's very pretty, though not as dark as I expected.
-
On me, Dirty is linen that has just been washed in floral-scented detergent. It's light and pretty, not soapy at all. I think this would be a good scent for someone new to BPAL.
-
On me, Masquerade is a lot of orange and some carnation over patchouli. It's a lot nicer than I thought it would be.
-
I don't get any flowers from Santo Domingo, just rum and tobacco leaf. Still, this is nice.
-
On me, Gaueko is mostly lavender which, as usual, smells too medicinal. Someone else can have this.
-
On me, Lilith Victoria is lavender, lily of the valley, and vanilla flower. I don't get Dorian and Snake Oil at all, but I'm not complaining -- this is so sweet and pretty. And I love the little witch on the label.
-
Wet on my skin, The Gladdener of All Hearts is lavender, sage, and carnation (heavy on the lavender). Baby powder starts to come through as it dries. This isn't me, but I do like it.
-
On me, Lady Lilith is tea, cream, and vanilla flower with maybe a hint of red musk. I like it, and I think it'll age beautifully.
-
On me, Silence is green tea, iris, and moonflower. It's not what I was expecting, but it is nice.
-
On me, Fallen seems to be florals and woods and a hint of musk. I like it, I just wish it were stronger.
-
On me, Loviatar is red musk and myrrh, with the leather and black amber somewhere in the back. It's nicer than I expected.
-
On me, House of Night is just a really light floral. I think there might be lily and violet in here somewhere. Maybe age will strengthen it.
-
On me, Pride is rose (more tea rose than anything else) tempered with narcissus. This is so lovely. I wish the narcissus were stronger, but maybe age will help that.
-
The Penitent Magdalen seems to clash with my skin chemistry -- it wavers between floral soap and lily of the valley, honey, and almond flower. Someone else can have this.
-
On me, Havana is very green date palm over tobacco and leather. This is a lot nicer than I thought it would be.
-
Wet on my skin, Santa Muerte is chrysanthemum and vetiver. Dry, tea rose starts to come through as well. This is a lot nicer than I was expecting.
-
All I seem to get from Medea is the currant, but I'm not complaining. I'll just age this and see if the other notes come out.
