The description on this one was so cryptic and intriguing that I just had to try It's a pleasant and unusual scent - very herbal and woody, with the faintest hint of citrus. It smells darker than I expected from the description, too, and more masculine, like a man's cologne. After an hour or so of wearing it, I realized why it seemed so masculine to me. It smells almost exactly like my ex-boyfriend's cologne! So if you're looking for another scent that smells like Aureus, check out Helmut Lang cologne And for me, this was a definite trade-away scent. I just can't go around smelling like my ex!

What a wonderful surprise! I got this imp primarily because of the historical associations with Queen Elizabeth. It turns out to be a lovely light scent, very citrusy with just enough floral to make it not too biting. It makes me think of sunshine! I'm looking forward to wearing it more as the weather gets warmer, because it feels like the perfect scent for summer. I just wish it lasted longer on my skin!

I'm so disappointed! I had been really looking forward to this scent. After all, the description mentions coffee and libraries, two of my favorite things! But when I tried it, it smelled exactly like Gluttony. All I could smell was maple syrup and caramel - way too sweet, and no coffee or anything else. Alas!
