In the imp - Whoa! Immediate citrus high with maybe a hint of spearmint. Wet - The same with an edge of wood and very tart. I'm not familiar with a lot of the ingredients in this Drydown - Still mainly grapefruit but very strong, almost like the zest. As it dried there's another note appearing, possibly tea. Four hours later and I can still smell this one. Typical as I don't hink it is a me scent and it will be off to the swap pile!

In the imp - Whoa, snake oily with cocoa, like a mild Boomslang. Wet - Wafts of menthol pine backed by resin sweetness. Drydown - Menthol/pine note recedes as the resin sweetness takes over. The Snake Oil is coming back with a vengeance with a smoky tang on his tongue! Wearing - Holy Moly! Creamy, smoked Snake Oil! This might be a masculine oil but they'll have to fight me for it .... Absolutely gorgeous Note - Tried it on my 18 year old too, who is a die hard Ralph Lauren Polo addict and he was mightily impressed.

Soft, lush myrtle and dry, sweet melilot with wild rose, pomegranate juice and peach blossom against a background of deep aquatic notes and a twirl of melancholy autumn breezes. This was sweet and somewhat woody in the imp and when applied. I'm getting better at picking out notes and there is a definite aquatic feel to this held together by the florals. I didn't get any peach until it had been on my skin for about an hour. There is a hint of tartness which may be the pomegranate. Over all I find this very green and aquatic. Not for me. Off to the swap pile for someone to love.

In the imp - a sweet, light floral with maybe a hint of mint? I try not to look at other reviews before I post mine to try and train my nose so I'm not sure if anyone else got mint! Wet - it's the same but with an undercurrent of wood. After ten minutes or so I'm getting a warmth along with the floral and possibly a smidge of vanilla. pouts as I wanted the vanilla to amp more After an hour or so it's not changing. This is pretty but with a hidden strength. Would be good for a feminine day or after a late night bath.

In imp - Light with a sweet, high note, very unusual. I received this one as a frimp so hadn't worked out what was in it or which category it called home. In fact I had to scroll through all of them as it didn't show up in the search. Little surprise then that it is a Voodoo Blend! Wet on the skin it's hard to pick out any notes and the same goes for drydown. I get a hint of tea, some green, maybe an ozone. I don't know what it is but I think I like it The other Voodoo's I've tried have slapped me about the face a bit with their ferocity but this baby is subtleness personified. I'll have to wait and see if its properties work though

This is my first try of the Lab's wine blends and I must admit I am impressed! In the vial it was a rush of sweet floral I'm not very good at distinguishing which notes yet Wet on the skin the sweetness is still there I think I detect some honey but it's not the overpowering foody kind, along with a note I don't think I've used before. As it dries there is an edge of spiciness coming into play which settles nicely with the plum. This is a very difficult oil to pick individual notes from as it is so skillfully blended, thank you, Beth! On the whole this reminds me a sweeter, lighter Bathsheba, which I adore. I'll definitely consider a 5ml on my next Lab order

I get green tea from Phantasm after the lemon has died down. Last week I tried The Lion and got a definite black tea note along with the amber
