In the bottle I can really smell the ginger; it comes across as really lemony which does not surprise me. But once applied, it softens into the milk and honey. I agree with an earlier reviewer that it is like Thai Iced Tea. It is a lot lighter/crisper than I like to smell, but I'm thinking of keeping it around as a "good girl" scent.

I just couldn't get into this one. I got it as an imp's ear and thought I'd give a try but I'd put it on (it was really soft to begin with) and then fifteen minutes later, the scent was gone. I tried this a few times later to give it a chance; my skin does the magic vanishing trick every time. That said, definitly vanilla while it lasts and nice soft smell.
