Strong black tea and milk with white pepper, ginger, honey and vanilla, spilled over the crisp scent of clean linen. OMG I can't even be bothered to break it down into my usual scent sniffing phases. The minute this hit my skin I get this horrid licorice smell. I can't stand it

Graham crackery and cream cheesy! Cinnamon brown sugary! Just a little carroty! In Bottle: Really pungent pumpkin, kind of alcohol-y and not in a good way. I was a little worried. Wet: Pumpkin and Spices. Very warm and autumn-y. Dry: My skin has totally just absorbed this. It's a very faint pumpkin and an even fainter spice scent. The smell is now predominantly cake-y. It's very sweet now. Like pumpkin pie on sugar. Later On: Very sweet, very well blended. Just a soft pumpkin-y, spice-y, and cake-y scent. Yummy foody scent, love this! I definitely need more!

the serotonin-slathered scent of pure milk chocolate. In Bottle: BROWNIES! Sweet Jesus this smells delicious! It's like a slightly lighter version of Lump of Coal to me (but LoC is much much richer imo). Wet: Brownies, still yummy brownies. Dry: Brownies, but there's something slightly bitter about it. I think it may just be because of that time of the month because normally it's 100% rich fudgey brownies all the time. Later On: My skin really just sucks Bliss up so it doesn't last very long (a few hours max) before I feel like I need to re-apply. The bitterness is gone and it's a very faint brownie smell. Like your neighbor is baking rather then the IN YOUR FACE brownieness it was in the bottle. Rating: Normally it's 10/5 but today because of the weird bitterness moment I'm giving it 4/5

So my BPAL from my old place has arrived! It's not a lot by most's standards (because man I know some people with a TON..) but it's nice to have it all back. Surprisingly, I have WAY more imps then I remember so I definitely need to get some of those ammo boxes in order to house them all. I'm slowly converting my livejournal f-list into BPAL addicts I just sold my friend a decant of MVJBA and put some frimps in there for her to try. So far my plan is just talk about it constantly and rave about how delicious I smell. It seems to be working well so far! I'm wearing MVJBA today only because I *almost* spilled it and instead it got on my hand so all is not wasted although it doesn't smell nearly as good as it usually does because of that time of the month. I really hate being a girl sometimes Tomorrow I'm thinking about trying out Shill or possibly one of the bazillion imps I have. I'm about to run to the PO to send out about 10 packages now including Mead Moon for my end of the swap with Grynet. I'm so paranoid about mailing BPAL, like OMG WHAT IF SOMETHING HAPPENS I WILL JUST DIE.

Vanilla, two ambers, sweet pea and white sandalwood. In Bottle: Gorgeous! I can smell each note from the sweet vanilla to the hint of white sandalwood. It's very sweet in a non-foody way. Wet: Same as in the bottle, each note is distinct but not potent. Dry: Lovely, so light and girly. It's really hard for me to find a girly scent that isn't really floral (I hate florals) but this one is really nice. There is a moment in there where it smells really really strong for a couple minutes but it tones down and settles to an overall beautiful scent. Later On: Pure vanilla. My skin must really amp vanilla because it's all I've been smelling for the last few hours. I normally love vanilla especially when it's paired with other deliciously foody notes but this is a bit much for me. I did love this when it was in it's earlier stages though. Rating: 4/5
