Clean and ozone, but not very cold. It's more springtime than winter, but it's still lovely.

Sweet, honeyed fruits. It does have a sense of fairy about it. It's not too fruity, thankfully, and I can wear it
-
In the bottle, all I smelled was almonds, so I was prepared to not like it, but it dried much sweeter, and smelled of honeysuckle. Very nice. But it doesn't remind me of the moon.

This is so pretty. The incense and floral combination remind me of Cottonmouth, but not as heady. It's sweet, but not overpowering. I can really see this as a summer scent. It makes me smile
-
Manly, patchouli, musky. It doesn't work on me, but I want to smell this on a man.

Red musk is my downfall. I am always torn between my desire to try whatever imps come my way, and my abhorrence of red musk. Trying always wins, because I'm always hopeful a scent will work. It hasn't yet.

The coffee overpowered everything. No florals, just coffee.

I just got a very alcoholic scent- almost rubbing alcohol.
-
It started out nice enough, smelling of clean dirt and herbs, but it turned to pine. Which is odd. And I didn't get any rose at all.

I really wanted this scent to work for me. It just didn't. It ended up smelling like rancid oranges and cough syrup.

Midwinter's Eve 2007 Sweet. Candy. Fruit. No florals. Unfortunately, the plums overpowered the flowers.

This was more sweet cinnamon than the exotic spicy/resin I was hoping for.

This turned out to be all Christmas Pastries, all the time. To be specific, chocolate mint cookie dough. It's the least offensive food scent I've ever smelled. I actually almost like it. But it's still a food scent, and I was terribly disappointed that the moss and orchid notes were completely covered up by the cookie dough. I guess I can't wear anything that remotely mentions food, or else I smell like a kitchen.

I love the Steeleye Span version of Allison Gross, so I definitely wanted to try some. Wet: This is a strong, watery musk. It reminds me of lily pads or a stagnant, standing pool of water in the summer. Dry: A sharp, salty lavender floral (which is odd, because lavender isn't one of the notes) that has a lot of throw.

Wet: Smoky, woodsy, wild, musky. It's rich, warm and pungent, with a cinnamon-y, woodsy scent. Also, it's a little sharp. I didn't get the amber, or the floral.

Cinnamon & fruit. It has a medicinal odor to it. I think I must have had a cough syrup with the same flavor.
-
Oof-- very grapefruit, very foody. Which is a shame, because I wanted so much to like it.
-
In the imp it smells like lilies and pine, which would be the cypress. There is also a hint of bubblegum, something very sweet. The sweetness overpowers the rest of the notes, and the whole perfume smells of candy.

In the bottle, it smells slightly of Old Spice. On my skin, there's such a rich, citrus scent. Normally, the lab's citrus is way too strong, and smells too much of lemons. As it dries, the citrus gets stronger, and there's more of an herbal tone-- almost sage. Unfortunately, the lemon cleaning product citrus death-knell note comes out really strong when it reaches the dry-down

This starts out as a sweet, foody floral. It's a little too high for me, and leaves me feeling headache-y. It has quite a bit of throw, too.

I'm a librarian, and I wear lots of different scents at work. The only ones I stay away from are the Snake Oil types- just because that's not the vibe I want to give off to my patrons. I love wearing Clio. In fact, I wore it when I was interviewing. I do think it helped. The parchment note is very dry and subtle. I found it too subtle for me. I usually wear Phantom Queen, Medea and Selkie at work. They're rich, herbal and somewhat aquatic, and they all work well in a dry environment. Mag Mell is clean, fresh and lemony, with a grassy/herbal undertone.

This is clean without being antiseptic. Lemony without smelling of bathroom cleaner. As it dries the amber, ginger and grass come out. I like this perfume, but I can't see myself wearing it every day. I'll need to be in a certain mood to wear this.

Wet: Dry, green, almost pine-y Dry: dusty, pine. Not my thing.

Wet: all the goodness of lilies Dry: soap!
